The people here are wonderful. My daughter (1 year old) needed glasses and they were thoughtful and extremely patient. Finding people who are patient when you have a toddler is a wonder. We’ll be coming back here for years

I'm not one to write reviews but I was really impressed by their service! It was our first visit for my 6 year old and they did a great job making her feel comfortable. Not only did they talk to me as the parent but made a point to talk to my daughter. They did a great job explaining exactly what they were doing since it was her first eye exam. They were also very patient while she picked out her glasses and have a nice selection to choose from. When I started searching for eye doctors I was looking for a place that was geared not only towards adults but also children. This is definitely the place! Shout out to Carla and Iris who really went above and beyond making my daughter feel comfortable and making our 1st visit a special one. The staff here is truly amazing!

I cannot express enough gratitude for the outstanding care and exceptional results my child received under the expertise of Dr. Tracy Adamo at Hinsdale Advanced Eye Care. Dr. Tracy Adamo's extensive knowledge and experience in dealing with low vision cases were apparent as she meticulously assessed my child's condition and achieved remarkable results in correcting their low vision.

I visited this office a year ago, and I am posting now due to some new things that have come to light. During my appointment, the staff were very thoughtful and considerate, and helpful when I was picking out my items. The main issue came when it was time for the bill. They charged me over $100 for a contact fitting exam, after I told them the contacts that I wanted to continue using. I have never had an optometrist office charge me for this before, in addition to not notifying me of the charge beforehand. I also bought glasses here, which I took to another optometry office after noticing one lens was a little blurry, and found that it was the wrong prescription in the lens. This year, the office started texting and calling me saying that I had set up an appointment and follow up appointment and would charge the credit card they had saved on file if I didn’t cancel/show up to the appointment I never scheduled. I don’t think it’s very ethical for a doctors office to schedule an appointment without consulting the patient, and then threaten to charge the patient, with card information that they saved, for not showing up. I’m glad that other people have had better experiences here than I have, but I would not recommend going here as I have received much cheaper and higher quality optometry services elsewhere.

I was having pain with my left eye. The receptionist got me in first thing in the morning. The staff were friendly and helpful. Dr Treacy Adamo was wonderful. She explains things in an easy to understand manner and is very knowledgeable. She is reasonable and gives you coupons or rebates if available. I now bring my whole family to Hinsdale advanced eye care. Highly recommend

Best eye doctor I have visited. Attention to detail, and really took time to consult during the eye exam. Have never had that.

Dr. Adamo takes excellent care of my eyes. She does a thorough examination. She is efficient but makes sure that I understand everything before leaving the office. The office team is outstanding! They are all friendly and helpful.
