My first experience at this office was terrible. The doctor was nice enough however what unfolded after my visit failed to exhibit any critical thinking or patient service ability. I arrived for my appointment, the visit which was to include lab work went fine. I asked twice during the visit if I needed to give urine. I was told no. Later on in the evening the doctor called me and said she needed to order more labs, they needed urine and asked if I could come back the next day. I live 30 minutes away from this office so I did not relish the idea of returning for what should have been done already. I asked the doctor if I needed to make an appointment and she said no, can you just come in between 9a-3pm. I arrived at the office at 9:07a. When I got to the receptionist, I explained to her my conversation with the doctor. She told me the earliest available appointment was for 11am. I explained I was told, after specifically asking, that I did not need an appointment and why can't I just give the sample and be on my way and that I live 30 min away. She explained they need another blood draw and there are other patients. I asked if they could squeeze me in for a simple blood draw and urine sample. She offered me an appointment for the next day, I said again, I live half an hour away, why would I want to come back for a 3rd time? She asked the Lab Tech, I also spoke to the manager, all of whom were unwilling to be accommodating. The manager told me this was not a walk-in clinic. I told her I didn't say it was, nor did I assume it was, I asked specifically if I needed an appointment. She replied, "you didn't ask the staff." How did that response make sense? I asked the doctor who called me - when would I have asked the staff. I understand there were other patients but not one would have been inconvenienced by the additional 5 minutes to take my samples as much as I was inconvenienced by taking 4 hours out of my day. I already explained that I've already lost an hour of my time having to return. It makes no sense. 5 minutes of time would have changed the whole experience. No one involved showed any sense or empathy and to add insult with the barely 5 minutes it took to take my samples.

Awful experience. Went to get my second shingle shot that was confirmed on the My Loyola portal. I was told by the receptionist I would have to come back another time because they ran out of shots. She didn't know when. No one bothered to call me to cancel the appointment. I left work early for this appointment. Worst part about it, the receptionist didn't even say sorry. My time matters too.

I’ll start by saying I love Dr Maietta she’s wonderful ! She seems very caring and very sweet and thorough. Id give her personally 5 stars . However, I am left very frustrated with the staff in the office because it is so hard to get a hold of anyone via phone call or messaging on the my Loyola. I have written to them a few times for different matters and it took so long to hear back ! For instance, I got prescription for an ointment that my insurance was needing the dr preauthorization for and I wrote and called and didn’t get a call back til a week later saying they will resubmit it. Meanwhile, I’ve been extremely itchy waiting to be able to finally be able to get this ointment I was prescribed a week ago. Now I think this wait on treating my eczema flare has caused an infection and I’ll need to now make time to go see a dermatologist too. If I would have had my medicine on time I could have avoided my flare up from worsening. It’s just so frustrating !

So disappointed with the treatment I received today in the evening with the pediatrics front desk receptionist. After calling to notify them I was going to be late due to a car accident on the way, I walked in late. I begged the front desk receptionist to please try to see what she could do for me. It was urgent matters. She raised her voice at me an informed me exactly how late I was and said “you don’t even go here”. Which she’s not wrong, I’m usually being seen in another location; still it was unnecessary and rude.

Worst Dr's office ever. Don't respond to calls. In my experience so far Loyola is a complete hack and rip-off. Put me through unnecessary procedures just for money. They can't even call me back. Complete lack of communication.

I had to call and leave at least 2-3 messages for my husband's medication to be refilled due to needing a prior authorization from the insurance company. There was no communication at all through the online portal about the progress or lack thereof or not even a phone call. My office in Homer Glen is AMAZING!!! I can call and most of the time get immediately connected to my doctor's nurse and she will get back to me the same day. Additionally I can have regular communication with my doctor via email messaging same day!! I will be changing offices for my husband's primary care.

Truly one of the worst clinics. The front desk staff is so incompetent. You call to make an appointment you’re on hold 40 minutes then they begin to make your appointment call drops and of course they won’t call you back it’s almost comical at this point. You have to physically walk in to make an appointment. Try a better drs office!

How many clowns does it take to reschedule an appointment or even transfer your call to the right place? Needless to say, the whole circus they currently have at the front desk needs to be changed. And it’s not just this location

I've had visits with my doctors here on a number of occasions. Each time was a good experience. Staff was professional, and the facility was clean.
