No staff were wearing masks. Food was decent. Decor was nice and dim lit. FYI, there are currently 3 doors to walk through to really enter the restaurant, not two.

The menu is rich with a lot of options. Grilled Seafood Platter appetizer is awesome. I highly recommend it. They also have a great wine menu with a lot of choices. Service was good but a bit slow. It seems like everyone is having challenges with staff shortage, but no issue for us as we wanted to take our time and enjoy our time together. Food was good. I had linguini and clams which was served with shells. I liked the presentation. The taste was a bit bland. Not much garlic, pepper or cheese. I have to say I have had better. But my wife's tortellini and blackened chicken was great. The entire restaurant is dark making it cozy. The light fixtures make it very quaint. The only issue we experienced was noise. We sat in the front room. There were a couple of table that were extremely loud. The hostess was nice enough to move us, but still the noise was loud to the point that made talking difficult. The tiramisu was wonderful. I highly recommend it.

Even though me and my partner waited a while despite making a reservation, it was worth it. The seafood platter was soo good & our entrees/dessert were also good. Our server was kind and provided quality service.

OMG!! What an experience! It’s like a show and dinner all in one. Seeing and meeting the owner is a must. Loaded with energy and a passion for serving the BEST AUTHENTIC ITALIAN FOOD! They use their family recipes from Italy and you can taste it. It’s like no other food I have eaten. The music, staff, decor, food and owners are a must see and a must experience! I highly recommend this place and can’t wait to go back!!

Always enjoy my the entirety of my experience regardless if seated at the bar or a table. Delicious. Highly recommended. Friendly, engaging, and attentive staff. Don’t let the menu intimidate you as I have never had less than a great meal or experience. Reservations are highly recommended no matter the day of the week or time. Always seem to be busy but not uncomfortably packed.

Very nice place. Outside patio was nice but they do need a solution for the heat so keep that in mind if wanting to sit outside. The food is super tasty. Everything we had was very well cooked and prepared. Our server Alton was incredibly nice and friendly. They are open until 11pm but their sister night club is right next door so your fun nught iut can continue there. They offer $10 valet parking but you can park yourself as well.

i could not recommend this restaurant enough. I came here to celebrate my birthday a few weeks back and it was the BEST restaurant i have ever been to. the bread they serve prior was fantastic. I got the Chicken parmesan for my meal and it was the best i have ever had by a landslide. my boyfriend got the seafood alfredo and he also said it was the best he ever had. We are going to rave about this forever. the price is good for what you get, i was able to still have half left over after being stuffed! the dessert looked incredible as well but unfortunately i was too full to try any. This is the perfect place to celebrate a special birthday, an anniversary, or if you just want to have a nice dinner. very cozy atmosphere. 10/10

Large Italian restaurant with very good service. The food is cooked to order and is very good. The wine list has some very good offerings as well. The grilled octopus is a must have. The sauce is very good and goes well with the pastas and other entrees such as chicken and eggplant parmigiana. The side salad and soup is a bonus. Very good cannolis and cheesecake desserts.

10 out of 10 experience. Simply put - this was the best Italian meal that I have ever eaten. We had the meatballs & calamari for Appetizers - Incredible! The portions are large, when our food arrived we were already full. My girlfriend had the rigatoni, I had veal san Giuseppe with eggplant and added a piece of sausage. Service 10 out of 10, we never had to wait or remind our server of anything I highly recommend making a reservation because it's a place where everyone wants to eat. I'm grateful for experiences like this, you deserve an unforgettable meal from time to time and next time you want to treat yourself give Capri a try. I will 100% be going back.

Tables too close together, not much room to move your chair out. The food and service (nicola) wonderful. Everything we ordered was amazing. The only problem with this place is that they are trying to cram in as many people as possible. If you are claustrophobic, do not dine in..

Absolutely a delicious restaurant. Decided to try this place while traveling through Chicago it was recommended and turned out to be everything we were told. The food options are enormous styles of cooking types of foods everything from soup to nuts. Try the grilled baby octopus...Absolutely the best I've had. Inside and covered outside seating make for a comfortable meal. Our server Gloria was very knowledgeable and happy to answer your questions. Give this place a try...you won't regret it!

I would give it 7 stars but it only goes to 5. I am very fortunate to travel a lot and try different restaurants. Capri is in the top 3 all time. It completely wonderful and I cannot say enough how this establishment is world class.

Some of the best Italian inspired food in Chicago. Creative menu with unique flavors. Meal was incredible and I highly recommend it. From the service, food, atmosphere, and experience it was all great. We started off with apps, then had two small pastas that we shared, then had an entree that we shared. All spread out with appropriate time between.

Had a wonderful time with my family at Capri. Showed up a tad earlier than my reservation and was easily able to go to the bar to get a cocktail. We were able to get seared within about 5 minutes of our reservation time which was considerate. We got seated in the heated patio, which was actually a lot quieter than the main part of the restaurant. Service was quick. Food was delicious. Portions were huge!

Awesome service and incredible food! We were lucky enough to be seated in an alcove area, so the noise level was much lower than the main floor of the restaurant. Our server, Pete, was absolutely amazing! We shared apps (Calamari, grilled octopus, and caprese). I had the Coach Q pork chop. All dishes were served hot and tasted amazing. Would definitely recommend.

20th Anniversary dinner hostess sent over complimentary desert the waiters, busboys could not have been better. This place deserves 6 stars.

This establishment it’s absolutely amazing . Beginning with the service top notch , our server Alba and the whole staff were incredible, suggestions service attention to detail . Love it Now for the food they have a great wine list and cocktails, We had Stephanie Waite (lobster ravioli ) chicken Parmesan with diavolo sauce (Dennis Savard) Hilarios rib eye , homemade rigatoni dessert We had limoncello tiramisu and the 6 layer carrot cake ( must try ) everything on the menu was authentic fresh and delicious I can’t describe enough , after this I can’t go anywhere else .

Went there for a diner with family and we booked the room in the back. The waiter was attentive and food was good. I had the vesuvio chicken and it was solid. But best of all was the calamari we ordered fried and griled both very good.

Best Italian food I’ve had pretty much anywhere in the world. My parents are frequent guests and took me and my girlfriend while visiting and nothing really comes close to this. Everything tasted incredible with portions to last for 2 more meals. There’s no surprise why this place is always jammed packed! Great job to Gigi and the team!

We went there for my husband's B'Day. The staff was very nice. There was no long wait. The atmosphere was calm. I loved the lighting and the food was delicious. Our waitress was very nice and sang Happy Birthday to my husband. We loved it and We will definitely go back again .

Never a disappointment coming here. The staff is friendly and attentive. Yes it is a very busy place, yes it can be noisy and yes in some place close seating but it is a place that everyone enjoys and can have fun. Food is exceptional and the menu offers something for everyone. Bus boys can be over attentive but are friendly and cooperative. Linda our server for a number of years is friendly and uses her experience to make her customers enjoy their dining experience. You will not be disappointed at Capri!
