Why was my review from months ago all of a sudden under Holy Crepes? My review for the Edge Hotel: We arrived at 3, our room wasn’t ready which was fine as we wanted to spend time at the pool. They handed us the oldest, thinnest looking “beach towels”, which I normally would never mention. We went to the pool, found a spot. I was definitely disappointed by the edge pool, it’s a tiny thing. We went to the bar and waited about 15 minutes. We were finally greeted and told he would be with us in a second. Nope, he proceed to do an “counterclockwise” service and help people who just got there while we were waiting. When my husband said something to him he told us “if you don’t like it you can go to the bar upstairs”. We grabbed our stuff, spoke to the “manager” on the way out who had no interest in anything we were saying. We left, lost out on $250. No way are we going to stay at a place with absolutely no respect for their customers. EDIT: I emailed the person who responded, and received absolutely no response back. My one star review remains accurate!

Fairly nice hotel in a great spot with stunning view, but a few instances put a damper on the stay. The pools, location and views are great. Breakfast was pretty typical for a tourist location continental, but plenty of brunch options within walking distance. Upon arriving at my room I was unable to get into my room. After multiple trips between front desk and my room they determined that maintenance needed to get involved - it turns out the batteries went out on the door. Pro tip: re-assign rooms and root cause the issue without leaving guests waiting awkwardly in a hallway. My other complaint was the unexplained $36.16 charge to my card. There was no receipt and no email. I only discovered the charge when reviewing my credit card statement. Presumably a maintenance charge? Lastly, there was a beautiful view of the bay, but the lock was frozen on the balcony door, making it inaccessible. Minor issues to be sure, but hidden fees are never a pleasant find.

This is a hotel I would definitely come back to again , the view is amazing , the king bed was extremely comfortable the room size was great and the balcony was a great touch! The staff was always extremely friendly and polite as well. The 2 pools were pretty packed most of the time and I don't blame them, the infinity pool was awesome and the view you get from it is breathtaking. Great location with so many things to do within walking distance. Highly recommend if you plan on going and staying in Clearwater

Not far from the beach, few minutes walk. Hotel was very well maintained including pools and rooms. Loved the pools and the bar around them. For some reason, roof top bars were closing well before the times mentioned ..so couldn't enjoy much. Front desk customer service could be better. similarly, it's good that they provide breakfast but its limited to bread/cold items and machine made pan cakes which takes lot of time. Parking is included in the amenities fee.

Pros- Clean and very beautiful views! Worth the extra money for a suite facing the ocean! Service and staff was nice! Location was perfect, close to the beach and next to a lot of restaurants. They also give you beach towels. Cons- Breakfast was terrible. All junk prepackaged food and instant pancakes. They did have bananas and oranges. Pillows and bedding were really low quality. I think the dollar store might have better pillows. We ate on the rooftop restaurant once and didn’t like it. Would book again, but plan for going out for breakfast.

We stayed at the Edge Hotel in early October. The front desk were very friendly and helpful. The cleaning staff were very responsive. The only thing we were disappointed in was the breakfast. We were very surprised that it did not offer bacon/sausage/scrambled eggs. A couple of days the cereal was covered and not available because there wasn't any milk. Cathy was amazing and so pleasant. It seemed that her co-worker was not around at the busiest of times. We would eat outside and find her sitting outside while Cathy was running around inside stocking everything by herself while trying to keep up with the demand. The gentleman was very kind as well and was all by himself one day trying to keep up. Overall it was a pleasant stay. We would be more apt to stay again especially if there were the breakfast options listed above. Thank you for the awesome views.

Just spent a week there. It’s not too bad, but it’s lacking practicality. The one king bedroom with a hide a bed, isn’t very functional for a week stay, mainly because of the bathroom. One, there’s no fan in there. Two, there’s barely a place to hang a towel. The bathroom area is divided into two areas. The other has no place to hang even a hand towel, so you’re going to use up all your counter place. Plus, the second part has no real privacy. Being that close to the beach and pool, you are going to change your clothes a lot. Ladies would you want yourself and children having to change in one very small bathroom? How about hanging a siding door there or at least a curtain. Breakfast is a joke and the hidden fees will cost you more than you think. Parking $30 a day in cash at the hotel. Amenity fee is $29 per day as well and that’s taxable, so enjoy. Pool is full of urine as well. There’s little construction finishing jobs that’s aren’t done either. Hotel was just thrown together to make money, not anything high standard. Above average just slightly, will likely go somewhere else next time. I’ll give it a 3.2 star.

As soon as we arrived we were impressed. The lobby was very nice and staff were welcoming. Our room wasn’t quite ready but they went ahead and got us one because we were hanging out in the lobby with our stuff. The room was very nice, much nicer than our hotel in Kissimmee. It was pretty clean for the most part. Except for a white stain on the side of the night stand… anyway! After we got settled we went to check out the beach which is a very acceptable walk away. Then we went back to lay at the pool for a bit. It’s nice that you can get drinks at the pool and such. While we were out and about our hotel got mentioned a bit so it must be pretty popular. All in all everything was great. I thought the infinity pool was bigger for some reason but was still cool. Breakfast wasn’t really a hot breakfast but had a good variety.

We liked the room and the balcony has a nice view. Also parking is included. However, we asked in advance for 2 rooms as closer as possible and they were very far away (we realized the hotel was a bit empty because the breakfast wasn’t crowded at all and they couldn’t accomplish the request). Moreover, the hotel just accepts payment in card (and didn’t inform in advance) and the breakfast has no scrambled eggs, sausage, bacon, ham or cheese.

I have stayed at the Edge Hotel numerous times. It has always been a great stay. The service has always been great. Rooms always clean and comfortable. There are two employees that are awesome, and go above and beyond. Mason and Noah are very nice and always willing to help. Thanks!

We really enjoyed this hotel. Stayed gulf front. The views are breathtaking. The gift shop was cute. The lady working there was very sweet. Check in was quick and pleasant. Breakfast was good. Would have preferred more hot options. Would definitely stay here again.

Our stay was nice and quiet. We ordered a pork bowl from the bar by the pool, it was amazing! There is holy crepes right under the hotel and it was delicious for breakfast! The room seemed cleaned and service was great. They have a roof top bar that was a lot of fun good music and drinks! It’s also located right next to Shepard’s which has a fun night life! The only down fall I did not realize when booking is there is not beach access. Most hotels on the beach have a private beach and beach access. You have to walk a little down the street to gain beach access. It’s not a bad walk but if you have chairs a cooler or anything to drag it could be a game changer.

Location was amazing right on the water. No direct beach access and the Rooms were okay but was a bit out dated, beds are very very firm! Room cleaning was non existent after we checked in and on the last day we found a small cockroach 🪳 by the mini fridge 🤮

Had a great time here! Beautiful rooms, updated bathrooms, great views. Amazing location in Clearwater near everything but off the beaten path just enough. The hotel itself has a wonderful rooftop bar and pizza/ice cream ship built into the first floor. Parking was ample. Breath taking sunset views every night. Loved it!!

We were there for a wedding. For the price the room was so so. No water in the room and the one vending machine took our money the said no water left and it kept our money. They do not have a convenient store in the hotel. So, bring your own snacks. We didn't have a iron in our room and we asked 4 times and never received one. The breakfast was very basic. Just begals, cereal, yogurt, and a pancake maker. We went next door for breakfast. There is no beach access from the hotel. You had to walk 300 yards to get the a public beach and pay 30 for seating for the day. It was our 1st time there and it was our last. I'll go back to St. Pete Beach..

Service at the hotel was outstanding. Hotel with a view, poolside or bay/beach side is great. Small patio to enjoy the night air and sounds of the ocean. Room was spacious and clean. Breakfast had much to be desired, Mostly all carb selections. Bagels, pancakes, cereal, muffins, some yogurt selection personally feel like there could be improvement here. Well within walking distance of the beach.

We had a great stay here. Check in/out was great. They accommodated us with holding our luggage until flight time. Pool area is beautiful. Rooftop bar and views are great. Sunset views were amazing. We will be back for spring training.

Very nice hotel and stay. Nice views if you get gulf or pool front. Service was great. Only issue was breakfast. We paid over $1000 for 2 nights and they charge for breakfast. Not only do they charge but the breakfast is very poor!!! No bacon no sausage no biscuits no eggs. Just instant pancakes cereal and fruit. If you want a good breakfast, you have to walk over to the next hotel. Also got disappointed by the edge restaurant on the roof. Says they close at 12. I took my family at 10. We sat and sat until I went to get a waitress and was told “oh our kitchen is closed”. Bummer. But other than the breakfast and dinner the hotel was a nice stay.

Excellent service. We have called the front desk multiple times requesting stuff delivered to our room during our 4-night stay. It's fast and pleasant. We were happy with the amenities and the view. The infinity pool was a plus although we didn't use it. I left my jackets in the closet after we checked out. called front desk about it. They were very helpful and shipped it back to me with a charge. I'm really thankful and will definitely recommend this property!

Good location, comfortable bed. Great service. Great ocean view with my room. Breakfast is very basic.. nice pools. Only complaint is there is no beach. However, the public beach is a shot walk away. I will be back.

This hotel is stunning! The infinity pool is simply amazing! So peaceful and tranquil! The free breakfast had a lot of choices and was a nice added benefit. The rooms are clean and well kept. The staff is friendly and very accommodating! The beds are extremely comfortable as well! Last but not least the roof top restaurant has amazing views, drinks and food! We will definitely be back!

This hotel is absolutely stunning. It’s better than the pictures (and I am a harsh critic). We stayed in a corner room on the top floor and it is most definitely the best view/location ever. My only issue is there is no beach access from the hotel. I knew that booking, but I didn’t realize that pretty much every surrounding hotel has a little beach access attached. That being said, our stay was wonderful, the staff was friendly and helpful, everything is immaculately clean, the breakfast wasn’t horrible (we only care about coffee anyway!) and you can’t beat this location so close to everything. There are also Keurigs in the room which is nice to have, along with a mini fridge. Beds and pillows are super comfy, we slept really well. We would definitely return again

The hotel allowed us to check in early and we really appreciated that. Our room was beautiful, the location is very nice and the complimentary breakfast in the morning was very very good. Even though check out was at 11:00 a.m. they allowed us to keep our car in the parking lot so we could enjoy the beach. Highly recommend!!!

I’m incredibly dissatisfied with my stay at the Edge. Views from the room are not as described, and the room in itself felt incomplete. Overall cleanliness was good, but the shower had absolutely no pressure at all! I did not feel clean for the entire trip because of the way the shower was, couldn’t even get my chin-length hair completely soaked. My overall issue with the hotel is customer service. Most of the staff were incredibly dishonest and condescending, and felt overall hostile. I believe this would have been a great hotel to stay at if it wasn’t for these things. It’s in a very cool location and the pools are nice, I guess that just ruined it for me.

Very nice vacation spot and everything in walking distance. Love the bar by the pool as well as the rooftop bar. Would definitely come again. Only thing I'd change is the music at the pool plays the same songs on repeat every day, so it would be nice to mix them up. The floor by the pool also gets really slippery and we saw some people slip multiple times
