To add to more story of the RUDE lady at the front desk, because I parked in a spot (in front of the office) that was for paying customers I was told to remove my car from her lot immediately!! She added that they did not have any guest parking and we were not welcomed!!??? All we wanted to do was take a look at the property, not rooms, before we decided to spend our money! I have many places to choose from and it will NOT BE The Reddington Ambassador!!! I will continue to tell anyone that will listen to not come to this Awful place!!

Needs some updates & a lot of maintenance. Need updates on furniture & Utilities. Change color of coffee cups Black isn’t a good color when pouring coffee. Fix the things that have been shown to maintenance that need to be Fixed three yrs running and still not attended to. Yet you pay high Maintenance fees to be fixed upon returning to the place.

Wonderful place to stay, right on the beach. The condo was very clean and spacious. Two bedrooms and two bathrooms, both are good size. The kitchen was well stocked with everything you need to make meals. Grocery stores are close by. Bars and shopping at John's Pass are close by. The view from the balcony is gorgeous. I highly recommend Redington Ambassador for your vacation spot!

Redington Ambassador is not the newest resort on the beach, and not the oldest either, but it remains a friendly and homely beachfront property where every condo unit has a clear view of the Gulf and direct access to the beach. Just walk out the back gate and you're on the soft white sand of the Gulf beaches

Still no improvement. We stayed here with my sister (a timeshare owner) four years ago, again in October 2017 and now in October 2019. The place is fairly nice although aging. There is no restaurant or bar on-site. The towels, facial tissues and toilet paper are below Motel 6 standards (easy improvements but they haven’t made them). The walkway railings have very sharp corners that will draw blood. They allow smoking in common areas. It least they are replacing the elevators over the next 10 weeks. It’s list as a 5 star resort but doesn’t meet those standards. It is obvious the 5 star reviews are owners.

We loved staying here. The property was on an outstanding beach, and the rooms were well taken care of and well stocked.

What a great place to spend the week! The rooms were clean and the bed was comfortable. There is a very nice pool and hot tub almond with the beach area! Great place to be on the beach for a beautiful sun set! Would definitely recommend to stay!

Staff threatened to call the police before confirming guests status then tried to throw guest off the property for being by the pool. Beautiful beach and pool, but security staff is a bit trigger happy.

I can’t say enough good things about the Redington Ambassador. The condo was well appointed, the view was amazing, you can touch the beach from the pool and the staff is marvelous. Every member of the staff was polite, friendly and very helpful. Thank you all for making our vacation special!

Nice hotel. Rooms are good. Location is great. The pool is small but nice. Nice view's of the beach and ocean. If you don't have an ocean facing room the pool has great views. Restaurant is pretty decent. There is a small sports bar, and BBQ place across the street. Highly recommend both.

I have been a timeshare owner at the Redington Ambassador for several years and have been visiting with family annually since I was 12 years old. I can’t mention enough about the amazing memories made here! It’s a slower-paced/family environment but is still really close to many fun things to do. The Amish creamery, good restaurants, John’s Pass and a number of boat tours have been some of our favorites. Amazing place to visit and relax!

Been coming here through years as an owner. Last visit was awful. Bed bugs in the room. Nothing they can do cause the rooms are full. I had an oceanfront and best they could do was move me down the road across the street from the beach. I was told to contact and email someone higher up. But nobody has responded. Not sure if I’ll be staying here again next year. And if I’m being honest it’s outdated and funky. It was just convenient. Let’s see what happens but not sure if my family will be here again. The cleanliness and sanitization really showed this last visit.

This place is great as long as you understand what you're getting This is a straight-out-of-the-50's timeshare that looks like it hasn't been updated since it was built. If you're OK with that (which I am), then it's a great place to stay. If you are looking for updated bathrooms and marble countertops, this is not your place! It sits on a beautiful stretch of beach and has a really nice pool and hot tub overlooking the ocean. There are a couple of restaurants and shops nearby, but it's by no means in the "center of the action," which again is fine with me. That means no crowds! If you like to walk on the beach, this place is perfect. One day I walked all the way to John's Pass on the beach. All of the staff that I encountered were friendly and seemed to work hard. The main reasons that I can't give this place 5 stars are as follows: there were some minor housekeeping issues with the room. Someone else's hairbrush and makeup wipes were in the bathroom drawer, and there were what appeared to be lipstick stains on the sheets. The next section is specific to the studio units. You really need to understand what you're getting if you book a studio. You are getting one of the bedrooms of a larger 2BR unit. It is a lock-off with a shared main door. You can hear everything that happens in the other unit. This wasn't an issue for me, but may be for many people. Let's just say this is not the honeymoon suite! Also, the unit is really small. There is no real bed, just a pull down Murphy bed, which is fine for a tiny person, but if you weigh more than 100 pounds, I'd guess it might be uncomfortable. Lastly, the fridge in the kitchenette desperately needs to be replaced. It is a single-door type deal so either you have to crank it up to 6 if you want to make ice (but then everything in the fridge freezes) or you have no way to make ice. There are no icemakers anywhere on property (which I find crazy) so you may have to do what I did and go down to Dunkin Donuts if want a cup if ice. This problem could easily be solved with a new $89 dorm fridge in the studio units. Again, this is only an issue with the studios. The studio that I stayed in was also very dark, and none of the studios have balconies. However, you can walk up to the landing area in the stairwells to watch sunrise. Nice view from the 5th floor. I'd definitely stay here again, but if I had a choice, I'd pick something other than a studio. Overall, great walkable beach, nice pool and hot tub, safe area!

Old property, could be renovated and awesome. Beach beautiful, pool clean, outdoor furniture very old ,towels thin, property non-smoking but people smoking at pool and in hottub. When asked if toys for kiddos at pool, was told no! Then saw room full of floaties, ect. Crabby unhappy lady at front office. Never smiled and wasn't helpful..Merry Christmas🌲 Needed towels for kitchen, told I missed exchange day , should have read my paperwork, and lady didnt offer to help, she could have gotten replacement, but instead went back to her phone to play games? Used same kitchen towels for week, gross! Elevator broken and not working all week. No beach staff,no cushions for beach chairs due to no staff after 5pm , Christmas no towels, umbrellas, beach chairs, ect.

I have owned time shares at the Readington ambassador for almost 40 years and absolutely love the area. There's so many things to do and see but most of all the best thing is to just enjoy the beach and the quietness of the area. Definitely not commercial like St Pete Beach or Clearwater. I highly recommend anybody that wants to just get away from everything enjoy nature to stay at the Redington ambassador I'm sure they will be very pleased with the accommodations

Living room rug looks like your at a xbike rally many lumps. Lock rug has large stain told can not be remove. Kitchen counter uneven. Corking coming out of shower door. Mattresses slide off beds. I paid $2,000.00 to stay here. Yea leave right but that's what they want. Any good lawyers out there. They called me last year asking me did I want to sell my week. Because I said no they messing up the place.

Location..location..only thing that made this place bearable. Pervasive stale musty odor upon walking into ancient unit. A/C quit working for a day. Double bed creaky and uncomfortable. 1 well worn blanket to use. Mold on bathroom grout. Filthy stained , lumpy rug in entire unit. Dirt in corners. Crack in acrylic tub. Corners dirty. One guest support rep rude and unhelpful when we told her A/C had stopped working. We did not feel like guests but more of a bother. Beware. Not worth the $$$$. Asked to talk to upper level management . Never called us as promised.

Having come here (and Coral Shores next door) for 20+ years. I can honestly say Reddington Ambassador offers some of the worst service in the region. As I am a Unit co-owner, I am able to use the facilities throughout the year, right? WRONG. I was told my the front desk woman that I was unwelcome there. She took one look at my GF and I and assumed we were trying to fake our way in. The woman laughed sarcastically at us when I explained I have a unit here. She denied us access and I had to get my group involved to teach this woman how to do her job properly. You are not a good employee if you literally can’t do the basic functions of your job: allowing owners to use the facilities. Going further, I have family commuting across state for our trip this year. But due to the recent storm - NO ONE gets to use the rooms they paid for! Best part is - NO REFUNDS. No empathy, remember this place has lousy service and they don’t want to actually work to get the room ready! By the way, Coral Shores literally NEXT DOOR was already able to get the rooms ready despite the storm. This is the difference between 5 star service and 1 star service.

Great resort, right on the beach. Complete with a pool, hot tub, gas grills and staff that will go out of their way to provide assistance. Lots to see or do in the area or just relax on the beach or at poolside.

Excellent units with updated furnishings. 3 bedroom units are all oceanfront. Building is very close to beach so easy to hear waves and watch water at all times Efficient staff. Great place for a nice vacation.

This timeshare needs updated. The two twin beds are not oversized as stated. In fact, they are rather small and uncomfortable. The bedspread on the king size is pitiful. It's something you would find at a motel 6. Also, bring your own beach towels because theirs is like a brillo pad.

READ: We had booked a room with Interval and had read the room details. It stated the room would have a queen sized bed or murphy bed. What did not expect was to walk into room number ending with an alphabet being what was a single room that had been divided into two separate rooms. This would be great for a college student on spring break who really doesn't care about a room but not for my wife and I. We stayed one night due to us arriving at 1am anyway and checked (of our 7 day reservation) out in the morning as we booked at a really nice Residence in down the road. Totally not what we expected AT ALL. Caution on any room that end in A, B or C.

Quaint, and directly on North Redington Beach. Fishing piers are within walking distance in either direction. Close to restaurants and local beach amenities.

Dump room. Murphy bed. Cheap linen. No beach umbrellas and only 6 beach lounge chairs. 2 coathangers. Unfriendly staf I used a coupon for $225 and figured what could I lose. Well there's the beach but we'll spend time seeing the sights. Folks if you have a coupon or toss.. A dozen pages of rules too. Bizarre.if people rate this high theyre not experienced travelers. But if all you want is to gather up sunshine the beach is the beach. By the way read the reviews and you see majority own a timeshare here so they'll rate it high. They're making money renting their dump.

A little outdated but still a great place to stay...the rooms need a little more in the cleaning department...really beats staying in a 27 story high rise...beaches are nice and clean and the office staff are really great to work with...we ended up extending out stay and will be back in 3 weeks....over all...the price was really great so you honestly can't complain

We have been coming here for a few years now every summer with our best friend who owns a week for memorial day. It is a really nice resort. Beach is beautiful, nice and relaxing. The room is always clean and comfortable. We only wish the facilities had an ice machine for hotel guests. The bathrooms at the pool are slightly lacking as well. One stall per gender and no child changing table for the babies. The walkway throughout the parking lot is very slippery. We were caught in a rainstorm recently and ran to our car for cover and a couple of us almost slipped on our bums. Otherwise, we enjoy our stay here overall.
