For a smaller store, the owners are very nice and the animals are well taken care of. Here is a picture of my tegu I got from them. He is a fat and happy lizard.

We found this cool small reptile store a couple months ago and love it! We went to them originally to look at possibly getting our daughter a python. They were so kind, helpful and educational! Then we went back for feed - crickets, worms, turtle food and rats. Every time we go, the owner is so kind to our kids and answering all of their questions with enthusiasm. They love going there! Most recently, we bought an adult bearded dragon there. My daughter loves him!! It’s now become a favorite chore to go get more feed for our animals. I haven’t checked out their YouTube channel yet but I’ve heard there are some awesome videos on there!!

Very knowledgeable staff - both are local breeders! They have a good selection of unique reptiles and feeder critters for any 'scale-baby' you might have, and great prices! Best in St.Pete area.. The Feeder Box is a pet friendly store. On any given day when you go there you might see a Jungle Carpet Python or a Bearded Dragon walking thru the door. There is a good selection of reptile food and the prices are fair. The owners will give you an honest answer about what reptile will make a good pet and how to care for it.

wow, it's been so exceptionally long since I have been in a shop where it felt very homey... The owner was so kind, and she has her daughter as her Shop Assistant and it's so ridiculously cute, she is knowledgeable and bright! I went to get a new family member (tortoise) and I am so happy I got my tortoise there, it's an Afghan (Russian) Tort. and it was at a great price! I will be coming back for more reptile needs and tell my friends. Fantastic job Safari Savvy Reptiles!

Wow, just wow, this place is exactly what I was looking for. See, I have been looking for a snake and have gone to many, many reptile stores, but to no avail. Finally, I come upon to a place that has exactly what I needed: good prices, great customer service, all the supplies, and knowledgeable background on the reptiles, amazing experience! Definitely suggest to any reptile enthusiast, worth your time.

We just got a leucistic axolotl from them yesterday afternoon. We have had tanks for over 15 years and would consider us pros on tank life. We have had MANY types of unique creatures for our tanks. We got this little guy home and did everything right (again, not our first time with creatures in tanks). We were SO careful. The axolotl did not make it even 8 hours. When approaching the store for either a refund or a new one, they said at cost is the best they could do. Basically it was OUR fault not theirs because all the others are fine. I am not blaming them or even writing a bad review based on anything other than customer service. This is not a cheap leucistic axolotl. This was approx $40 of my money plus the food. and the only response was basically, OH WELL, you did it wrong, all the others survived. Well, is there a chance this little guy was stress AF and didn't make it on his own stress level? Hells bells, yes. I just think, as a small business owner, and this being our first time working with this shop, they should have had better customer service and made it right. This is NOT how you do business. Now if it happened twice, I get it, all on us. But this was bad service. Every pet place we have bought from always has at least a 24hr guarantee. This did not make it 24 hrs. Super disappointed in a place I heard so highly of. We will never reccomend this place.
