This is the best place we have ever ate seafood on the road!!! The food was phenomenal!!!! The waitress, don’t have the words to say how awesome she was!! Her name was Tina and I hope she sees this and knows how much she was appreciated for helping us in make our decisions easier!! We will definitely be back when we are in the area!!

This was my first visit. The portions are a bit smaller than expected yet filling. I recommend an appetizer to help offset the smaller portions if you are really hungry. The prices are excellent. The service was stellar. Our server's name was Clarissa. She was very nice, attentive, and offered recommendations. They have outdoor seating if you are interested. I had the garlic Parmesan oysters. They were delightfully flavorful and juicy. My husband doesn't eat seafood, so they have chicken on the menu, and he enjoyed his meal. Let's talk about the green beans! Outstanding. Next time, I will get the grilled shrimp and scallops with a double portion of the green beans.

An amazing lunch. Ian was our server and the man was spot on. The fish dip was creamy and has a nice touch of smoked paprika. The lobster bisque was perfect. My entree was the fried oyster plate. They were fried perfectly. My buddy had the tuna stack. I tried it as well and it was amazing. This is definitely a trip worth taking. I'll be back!

Stopped in for lunch on our way to the Keys and glad we did. Sat at the bar (like always) and had a yummy lunch. We order the Kaboom Shrimp, cup of gumbo and a salad. Everything was super fresh. The service was excellent.

Nice atmosphere outdoors for dinner. The place was packed at 7 30 pm. We ordered calamari, and it was average. The flavor was bland. I ordered the ribs, and they were full of flavor. Also ordered were grilled salmon dinners. They were a hit with both parties who ordered it. The hubby ordered blackened Mahi tacos. They were enjoyed. The best part was the caramel cheesecake. That's was soooooo amazing.

Don’t let the parking or line deter you! Food and service is great! We arrived before 5 pm. We almost turned around to go elsewhere because there was already a line of vehicles waiting to enter the parking lot. We decided to take our chances and see what the wait was. People were coming/going at an equal rate. We found suitable parking promptly. It’s snowbird season and we understood there could be a bit of a wait and lag in service. They had outdoor seating, bar seating, and indoor seating. We chose indoor seating. They have a separate check-in stand for outside service. We were seated within 20 minutes. Our appetizer was half order of Southern fried (chicken-fried) oysters. They actually tasted a bit like chicken. Next time, I’ll order oysters on the shell. Our waitstaff was quick and attentive. She didn’t miss a beat. Very friendly and accommodating. Mixed drinks are half the price of the restaurants on the beach and they tasted quite good. We both had the special of the day which was half-lobster stuffed w/breaded deep fried shrimp and two sides. Lobster was very small, but appropriate for the price and quantity of food altogether. Coleslaw was good. I ordered potatoes which were just regular small steamed whole red potatoes which I did not eat. I was already full by the time I got to them. We didn’t take home any leftovers. My husband finished off what was left of my shrimp. Portion size was average and not much for leftovers. I don’t eat much, so it was fine for me. I would recommend ordering a whole sized lobster or one of the larger meals that’s not on the nightly specials if you eat large portions in one sitting. You can’t be upset with portions sizes if you’re ordering off daily specials menu at any restaurant. They were well-staffed. Which means they pay well, tip well, have decent perks, or the owners are outstanding and treat their staff appropriately. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this place to someone who’s seeking a job in the area. They seem to have a system in place where multiple people help set the plates and deliver them to their guests. Appears to be a very efficient process much like a fast food service. (Food doesn’t taste fast food.) We were in and out in less than an hour. We did not use the facilities. Restaurant appeared to be clean and well maintained. You could probably bring a group of 6-8 people and have no problem getting a table together in a reasonable amount of time. Plenty of room in their outdoor seating for those who prefer open air spaces. (No vax/pcr checkpoints in this area of FL.)

AMOB's are one of our favorite seafood places. Food is always exceptional. The calamari is best on the planet. Cortez has best service. Ellenton needs to step up the service a notch.

Food and service was great! I usually like my oysters raw but the steamed sampler was awesome and its the only way I will get them here for now on. You even get a couple prices of grouper with it as well.

I have eaten at their other locations and they do not disappoint. The food is excellent the British server was fantastic and the atmosphere fun. I had the house salad with salmon and it was excellent. My girlfriend had the seafood platter and she raised. The tuna was also excellent. I highly recommend this restaurant for fresh seafood.

We will be back as soon as we can get back to Florida! In town visiting, and we were so happy to find this place! The outdoor area is amazing, but it was a little chilly, so we opted for indoor. Full bar. They have a measuring stick when you walk in, for children and how tall they are, is how much you pay for them! Their specials are great. Their crab legs are PERFECTION. Veggies were cooked perfectly, potatoes were delicious leftover, I was too full to finish with my meal! The key lime pie… we had to try it, split between 4 of us. And I am certain I will dream about this!! Staff was exceptional, really went above and beyond for us! Can’t forget the beautiful art work that makes the perfect photo op! Even Grandpa had to jump in!

Fun funky place over by Ellenton Mall. Tucked off the road but well worth looking for. Parking is a little tight so you need to go early but it's worth it. The seafood here is tremendous, It always tastes fresh and delicious. The hush puppies were yummy as an appetizer and none of us could finish our dinners because they were big. Will definitely be coming back here again soon.

The experience was as a whole was great. The oysters and clam strips were top notch. We tried hush puppies and specialty cocktails which were all tasty. Lauren our bartender was knowledgeable and so pleasant. What a gem and at great prices!

The king crab claws were delicious! The blackened blue cobia was also fantastic, but it was consumed too quickly to get a picture.

Just annoying that you can't go anywhere and get decent quality for your money anymore. Ordered a meal for my wife, myself and an appetizer for us both. I can deal with soggy fries because of the commute back from picking it up, the spoonfull of coleslaw was not desireable but everyone has different taste. But 17 dollars for this? Real lame guys. The employee, I think his name was Andrew, he was working curbside and was super nice and provided great service.

Great family friendly restaurant. One of the best in Ellenton, FL. Eat in or al fresco at their patio looking at the backyard little lake near the Manatee river. Started with fried calamari (simply fresh and perfectly fried with just the right amount of breading. They offer a good variety of cocktails, beers, and their happy hour ritas are certainly good! Have one...what da heck, have two! Fresh catch of the day was the trout and I had it blackned with mango salsa, potatoes and cilantro rice. It was suculent and well seasoned with cajun spices. The grilled mahi-mahi was also fenomenal. Will defenitely come back.

The place really lives up to its name, had Rockefeller and garlic parm oysters and they were outstanding. I wasn't very impressed with the blackened cod - it could have been cooked a little longer, but the green beans and red potatoes were delicious. Tip top service, I was surprised at how fast meals came out. Great drinks and dessert. Cozy outdoor seating. Would definitely visit again and explore more of the menu.

The food was absolutely delicious. Our table had the chicken Alfredo, shrimp and scallops, rack of ribs, hush puppies, sashimi and key lime pie. All of it was incredible and we’ll definitely be back.

Great place to dine in. There was a wait tho but worth it. Clean place, attentive staff and delicious affordable food. They have kids day - everyday except Fridays and Saturdays.

Stayed at the Red roof inn and found this place in walking distance. Wasn't originally planning on dining here but so glad we did. The food was excellent everything was awesome. In the future we'll make sure we hit the 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. All you can eat fish and chips. Margarita flight, shrimp burger, conch fritters, dozen oysters.

We had the friendliest, fastest, hardest working server I've ever had. We ordered an appetizer. Then, changed our minds. But, not even within two minutes, our server brought our drinks and said she put in our order, but she would cancel it. As she did that, the original order arrived. Hush puppies! Very delicious. They had Lobstercargot on special. But, we tried the conch fritters, which were delicious and fresh. They have an all you can eat fish basket throughout the day as well.

Went for early dinner on a Monday. Service was horrible and rude. Very rushing. Got the Fish and Chips, fried oysters. Holy Expensive! I'd hate to see the regular menu pricing. It was delicious, the kitchen staff didn't disappoint. But the front house staff made it uncomfortable.
