You had steak for 49.99 a pound and a 12 pack of Coca-Cola was $9.99. Why? Your prices are so overly inflated. There can’t be any possible way that you pay any of your employees enough to be able to do their shopping at your stores and be able to have any money left over. Your company is praying on the community. The store needs to get some shopping baskets and maybe replace the absolutely enormous carts that absolutely nobody could possibly afford to fill. Thank you for providing absolutely completely stagnant economical output when concerning your employees pay and for the ever increasing prices on of your products. I used to shop at this Harris Teeter all the time, and after walking through there today and realizing the insanity of it, and it’s so frustrating knowing that Harris Teeter’s bottom line is the only thing benefiting from everybody struggling. I will no longer shop at Harris Teeter or any grocery stores associated with that company. Take better care of your employees. Take better care of the communities that take care of you. Do better!

This is a newer Harris Teeter and it really shows comparing to the older stores. They're meat and seafood counter both looked appealing the Harris Teeter chains all sell the same food but these folks make their product look good and inviting always. Comparing to other HT's.

Excellent customer service. Wonderful produce department. Very clean and well stocked.

Ordered some cupcakes for my bridal luncheon and this is what I got. You can clearly see they were Carolina Panthers Blue iced cupcakes, that was scraped off and then added my icing colors(white and light purple!)! Talk about embarrassing 😳 Not too mention, a JOKE! Will never use them again!!!!

Great new store and a welcome addition to the area. Very nice looking with the nice amenities such as a Starbucks, butcher counter, deli. Has a small wing and Asian bar as well as a nice salad bar. Was well stocked and even had plenty of the HT regular seltzer’s when most stores usually run out. Thank you manager. Even has a HT gas station. Making a left to get in there was tricky since only flashing yellow arrows and traffic was tough. Plenty of parking but the lot was odd shaped with dead end areas. Leaving the place was interesting since one exit required a right turn only away from the main road. A nice experience in an area with growing pains.

I love Harris teeter for their friendly staff but I came to get my husband a sub made and had to deal with Janine, she was not friendly what so ever, seemed like she had an issue of making the sandwich which no offense is her job. She could have been alot more pleasant about it, that's for sure. I work in customer service and that is not how u act

Always fantastic customer service. The Gastonia one is closer, but I perfer to go the extra couple of miles. People like Kat in meat/seafood, the nicer variety, and the overall feeling that their employees wanted to be there are great reasons to shop there.

I work for a local church. For Christmas this year we are helping a young man who was orphaned and aged out of Foster Care. He requested gas and grocery gift cards to help him get through the school year. I went to Harris Teeter since I’ve always had good experiences obtaining gift cards since we are a non profit. I brought in all my paperwork and was turned away by a manager named Carter. The first thing she said after reading my letter was, “Why isn’t your church paying for it?” And then motioned to her coworker (another manager) and said his church had pay out of pocket for a child’s Christmas. We are currently helping several other families and due to a hard economy, not everyone is able to give as much in years past (not that it’s her business anyways). Carter then denied our request and said to go to our “local store.” When I explained this location was closest to my house, she said to go to South Carolina because, “there’s several in every strip.” I have no idea what that even means. I asked for the policy that stated she couldn’t help us since I have obtained gift cards from the Steele Croft/Rivergate location. She said, “I don’t have to show you our policies.” She spoke so rude to me in front of my young kids. My four year old even asked, “Mommy, is she a bad guy?” Because she was so disrespectful to me. My family used to shop at this location often - we won’t be back. I really hope corporate sees this and takes care of this. She shouldn’t be working with the public.

Harris teeter in Belmont is always very clean and inviting! The employees are super friendly and knowledgeable and other than a little higher prices, I love shopping there!

Favorite grocery store in the area. Great BOGO prices that ring at half price. The WORST thing about this location (which WAS my fav) is the morning and afternoons have middle school kids from across the street running a muck. 🤦🏻‍♀️ parents. Where are you? It’s not the grocery stores responsibility to babysit.
