Ordered the fish and chips. ( don't waste your time or money)... food looked burned and guy behind the bar was rude as hell... food ordered ahead for pickup. They knew we where there to pickup and we had to wait while he finished washing glasses. To get our food . Won't be back.

First time eating a traditional Irish meal. We ordered 3 different items and all were great. And portions were large; one of our orders, guiness stew, was just a half size but only managed to eat about 1/3 of the dish. Great atmosphere and servers where very nice and helpful.

We were doing a bar crawl for my nieces wedding and we had a ton of fun. My daughter's fiance, from Scotland, was with us and much to our delight. The band that was playing was a Scottish American band and my son-in-law to be could not have been more excited to have a piece of home in Indianapolis. Ton of fun, great wait staff, really good food and creative drinks. Definitely check it out, nice outside area to sit as well.

Cool little Irish bar on Mass Ave next to downtown Indy. Service was great and the Irish car bombs went down smooth.

Solid Irish place. Great bangers. Could have Slightly better British beer selection.

Really fun place with a very cool vibe. Bartenders were nice and the prices were reasonable. The food was good. Try the Irish gold potatoes. Done to perfection. And this is barfood.!

My husband and I stopped here, as it was across from our AirBnB on our first night in Indy. We took a quick Look at the menu and thought we’d enjoy it. We were absolutely right! There weren’t a lot of people at the time of our visit. The staff was wonderful, super friendly. Our food was delicious. I got the bangers and mash, and my husband got the shepard’s pie. We would definitely return if we ever visit Indy again.

Idk what everyone’s complaining about as far as food and service goes. Maybe someone who’s no longer here? We came for the first time tonight and lord almighty was it good. Amazing food. The goat balls were to die for. And the waitresses were freaking amaze-balls. Came back after the concert and even though it was busy they were still cool as hell. So coming back.

Ordered the corned beef and cabbage. Very, very flavorful and the taters were excellent! The only reason for 4-Stars is the incorrect cutting technique of the corned beef. This should always be sliced against the grain rather than with. As a foodie, this switch will promote more tender beef as well as better presentation. Don’t get me wrong, the flavor was amazing! But this shift could really take 9IB to the next level! Thank you for great food and service!

While they were a little busy we expected a little better service. I had to ask 3 times to get a drink. Waitress didn't come check on us hardly at all. My chicken was so tough it was hard to even cut. When I told the waitress when she was walking by I got a "well are you wanting me to take it off the bill or something? " Only good things for our experience were the fried pickles and the Shepards pie, and not having to pay for chicken I couldn't eat.

Celebrated St Patricks Day here, and the food and service were great. We were blown away by the fried pickles and special sauce. I also had an amazing fish sandwich. Worth coming for dinner for sure!

I loved this place, the food is delicious, the beer is good too, and the Irish environment is nice. The waiters are pretty nice, and the service is good in general, I would like to return someday and taste more dishes and beers.

I am a travel nurse in Indianapolis and drive past Nine Irish Brother frequently and always said myself, “I really want to try that place”. Thank goodness I did! I felt like I walked into a local pub in Ireland. The Irish pub music was amazing, the atmosphere was was amazing, and the fish & chips….AMAZING! I am so glad that I extended my travel contract for another three months so that I can visit NIB many more times.

Cool corner bar with that great Irish pub feel. Stopped in on a Sunday for lunch and a couple of tall cold ones. The place was not busy at all, which I prefer. The server was pleasant and attentive. The salmon dinner was excellent and I nibbled on some fish and chips which I found to be delish as well. Highly recommended! I'm looking forward to a return visit. 5 ✨s

Rating is based on the food. I ordered the Guinness stew which was pretty much potatoes on top of potatoes with some admittedly nice tangy gravy. But it only had one carrot piece, little meat (and that which I had was very fatty) and there were no onions or other veggies either. So if you love potatoes, this is your dish. Service was good. Others had better experiences with the food than I. Friend said corned beef and cabbage was good, but she had nothing to compare it to.

I love a good Irish pub and the fish and chips with Guinness did not disappoint. The goat cheese fritters were to die for and the Irish soda bread was delicious. Only "complaint" would be that the young guy who dropped our food at the table (not our waiter) asked if we had everything we ordered, and when I mentioned I'd asked for a slice of the soda bread with my meal, he left without saying a word, and promptly (to his credit) came back, bread in hand...literally, in his hand, and dropped it on the plate. I thought it was hilarious but I can imagine not everyone would. Just set your expectations high for food and low for staff and you'll enjoy yourself.

Typical Irish pub food with a lovely atmosphere. That staff were quite friendly. The shepherds pie was delicious! I will be a returning customer. It has pretty good history!

Food was great and vibe was fun. Some of the items were a bit overpriced (perhaps they were worth it, but the cost alone discouraged me from buying them). The chairs are not comfortable enough for long hour dining, so have a meal and a couple drinks, but don't expect to stay for hours comfortably.

The waitress got the orders of the 4 of us that were there. 4 other people of our group showed up and she didn't act like they were there. Went to order food and the kitchen was closed. 10pm at night and could get no food. Not even a big of chips. The waitress seemed more worried about being on her phone than tsking our orders. I'll be back to try the food, because I've been told it's good.

Been before late at night for drinks but tonight was our first night here for the meal! We ordered the appetizer bread, fish sandwich with their house chip fries, and bangers and mash. Pretty small crowd (we were the 4th group there) but it was a Sunday evening at 6pm. Bread was DeNsE and delicious- served room temp. Fish sandwich was very good and so was the bangers and mash! Great food. About $12-13 per person

We came in for some corn beef and cabbage and sat at one of the communal tables, after not being greeted for twenty minutes, we sat at the bar. The bartenders were good, but our night was made so much better by the gentleman’s who cleared our table. He said it was his first day. He was so surprised pleasant and had a great smile, just wanted to give a shout out to charlie and let management know he should probably get promoted ASAP, we all need a good smile!!

Wonderful experience! The food was nothing short of amazing, everything we ordered was great. The servers worked together bringing food and drinks as it was busy. Live music was fun and enjoyable! Definitely my go-to for Indianapolis now, planning another trip soon.

Cozy comfortable indoors with nice big pub like tables. Waitress was excellent! The food was excellent!!! We went to celebrate a birthday. My son, wisely, chose this place. Parking was not an issue, either.

Always a fun time! If Highland Rein is in town definitely stop by as well! The bartenders are always great. A good place to stop by for a drink or some food during the day. ☘️

Stopped by this pub at 8:20pm, were given food menus, then told the kitchen closed at 8pm when we ordered, a total bummer. The atmosphere was good, the beer selection was decent, but we left after one beer... for somewhere else to eat on Mass Ave with a kitchen that was still open.
