Chicken wings are huge and meaty. Ten for $7. They come house breaded or naked. The breading is just a little too salty for me, but the other three in our party were very happy with them. I'm not much of a salt person at all. I will just go naked next time ;-) Frank's hot sauce is their main sauce. No teriyaki. I would definitely give them a try if you are looking for a good wing choice. Greg got the Al's Burger. He was very happy with it. It's a great small little hole in the wall place. Everybody seems very friendly. Our service was wonderful. They have M-F reasonably priced specials.

Anybody wonder what happened to the folks from the late, great Peppy Grill in Fountain Square? Well Betty, who had over 30 years at Peppy, and whose son Joe is the head cook at the New Peppys by IUPUI, is in the kitchen here at Al's now. Had a great pizza here last night and can't wait to try other stuff.

We were looking for a great pizza place that was not a chain and we stumbled into Al’s. They have great pizza, wings, drinks, and atmosphere.

Ordered delivery lunch from this place today. Tenderloin sandwhich. It gets to me and has nothing on it. Just bread and a dry piece if meat. Literally every restaurant ive been to in indiana that sells a tenderloin sandwhich includes lettuce, tomato, onion. But this place tells me you have to ask for it. Would of been nice when i placed the order over the phone to be asked what i want on it. Last time i spend my hard earned money at this piss poor establishment. The onion rings were not even good. Cold soggy junk……

So me and my girlfriend decided to pop in and try this place out on a whim, great food, great service, great atmosphere. Definitely a hometown kind of vibe but we felt extremely welcomed by staff and customers. Will be back again

They’re food isn’t too bad. It’s more or less them brainwashing their bartenders to pocket everything. If you make $100 a night on top of your salary, you’re taking always from the cook. The person who’s gotta deal with everyone’s orders, deal with the insane heat, when you guys don’t even have a proper AC when the temperatures are rising as high as +110°. When OSHA recommends anywhere from 68 to 78°, otherwise them employees body temperature rises. When you have older cooks that takes a toll on their bodies. But you’re still alright with them making if $100+ a week then your bartenders are pocketing the rest. That’s not even right even if they get paid different. For the person who’s making all the food, the bartenders just handing it out for the most part. Now depending on how much difference in pay is should be calculated to how much everyone gets tipped at the end of the night. The bartender shouldn’t be sticking with an old rule made up by a thief. They don’t work there anymore because they stole. Doesn’t make running off with all the tip money right for you.

Food was great the ladies where great we got pizza side salad cheese fries chicken tinder dinner with fries a grilled cheese it came with chips everything was fresh and tasted great this was are first time getting food from here will be back

It was a good place for b&g,s . 2 full.orders and a half order of them went from $17.00 to $28.00 over a weeks time. I questioned it and he got grumpy and said prices went up. Think he needs to reevaluate his prices it was 5 whole biscuts and gravy. Good but not 30 worth of good .

Stopped in for one beer. Very small place. Might seat about 20 but it would be crowded. Bartender was nice. Food smelled good. Prime conversation during our visit involved deer hunting and lottery. Not a criticism, just an observation. Will go back to try the food soon.

My dad loved this place. I can see why. 💜 Super nice folks, and great pizza. 🙌

Great neighborhood bar! Patrons and staff are always friendly!

I love their sandwiches. The bread is always fresh. Ordered a grilled tenderloin and it was perfection. Had the lunch special meatball sub and it was great. Plenty of meatballs, sauce and cheese with a very fresh bun. Friendly people. The owners are wonderful people and sociable while in the bar.

Tammy is best bartender. Great wings. Cold beer. Loved this visit.

Small, cramped, dive bar feel (mean this as a compliment). Incredibly friendly group of regulars, and bartender. Cheese pizza was nothing spectacular, but solid. couple with cold beer and good conversation, it's a good place.

The staff is very friendly, the food is Amazing, good size portions. The bartenders are Top Notch, very knowledgeable and they make you feel at home. Jennie is on top of her game, always remembers a face and what they drink. I can't wait to visit again!

Chicken wings were awesome and good size. We asked for hot sauce but they did give us barbecue sauce. The pizza crust needs to be changed it's too much like cardboard the toppings were good and fresh on the pizza. Fix the crust and you have a good pizza.
