Where to begin. This was truly the worst dining experience I've ever had in Indianapolis. The service was fine, which is the only reason I'm giving 1 star. I won't say it was outstanding, but she did make sure we had drinks, ordered within a timely manner, etc. however, she wasn't concerned at any point with how we were actually enjoying anything, specifically the food. My husband ordered an old fashioned, and I ordered wine, and we felt that our drinks and the appetizer (truffle fries) were the best part of our experience. For our entrees, I ordered the lamb chops and my husband ordered the prime rib (both med rare). Lamb chops were the smallest I've ever seen, cooked medium-well, and had more of a "mint cilantro smear", if you will, instead of the mint pesto. My husband's prime rib was truly the worst part. Cooked extremely well, dry/grisly texture, not served with the horseradish sauce (which is always served with prime rib). I really wanted to send our food back, especially considering our server never checked back during the meal. Oh, we were also only 1 of 3 tables there the entire night. Yikes, please just don't go. Save your money. Go literally anywhere else.

Well I was pretty disappointed with breakfast here. The toast was not even toasted, the breakfast potatoes had clearly been sitting for a long time, sausage was cold and the only thing edible were the over easy eggs. I was not expecting five star dining but I was expecting a little more from a restaurant based in a hotel. I would give them another try but they missed the mark this time. They could also use an update with the interior and furnishings but that's just me being picky. I'll end this on a good note by saying the service was very good and my server Nick, did a great job!

My first time visit Spoke & Steele was on Sunday, February 13, 2022 with my girlfriend for an early Valentine's Day celebration. If I had to sum this visit up, I would say 10 out of 10 recommend. I loved everything about this visit/restaurant from the valet, ambience, staff, waitress, food, etc. Even the water was presented gorgeously (I don't even know if that is a word. I tried the BLT and 3-Berry Stuffed French Toast. It was absolutely amazing.

This place has good food and a lot of potential. We visited on 5/7 and left feeling a little disappointed. The restaurant was clearly understaffed, without a bartender at all. The server I think Eric? did a really nice job and deserved more help. Management needs to figure out a way to get this place staffed properly and it would be a much smoother operation.

This place is upscale but had no issue seating my casual dressed family. The waiter was very good, funny and made the kids laugh. I ordered the swordfish with rice pilaf. The chicken croquettes were delicious. We had some salami appetizer also. My wife ordered the royale and kids got chicken tenders and a grilled ham and cheese. Highly recommend this place for a date not small children. 💚💚💯💯

1st Timer!! What a cute place, It was giving vintage modern! Me and my girlfriend went for Sunday brunch and it was really nice. I had a mimosa which to be honest was a little room temperature and watered down. The juice to alcohol ratio was off. For the food, I tried something different and ordered the Chef feature which was the “Ham & Cheddar frittata” which was absolutely delightful! Wouldn’t have changed anything about it. My girlfriend ordered the “Blt Olé” which is a classic but goodie. We also ordered and shared the “3 Berry Stuffed French Toast” which was absolutely amazing!! Highly recommend any of these options. Lastly, please ask for Kara with a “K” ;) she was a great server, spunky attitude and cool vibe! Thank you spoke & Steele.

This restaurant is by far the best restaurant for a quite breakfast or a nice night our with your significant other. Their clean, brass fixtures with nice fresh angles are beautifully placed. Their breakfast food is tops and at night, the cocktails are delicious. Worth every penny

We did not eat here, so I cannot speak on the food. We did have quite a few drinks here the first evening, and we were not impressed with the bourbon/whiskey selection. I had an espresso martini and it was maybe a 1 out of 5. The wine was good however. It definitely seemed short staffed and definitely not as friendly as the actual hotel it's tied to. This place is super adorable on the inside, I just wish it lived up to that.

Lucky winner for a late lunch this morning. The Ribeye hash selection and Stuffed berries... was delicious. That hallway though!

Fantastic food, atmosphere, and workers. Couldn't ask for better. Heather was an amazing waitress and the food wasn't rushed and prepared perfectly. First time here...pricey but well worth it.

The food was really rough. It tasted slopped together, made with no love and very little effort. The toast wasn’t toasted the bacon was old and flavorless. A brunch place with no fresh coffee ready to go is just something I can’t abide. Our server gave it his best effort, but that’s really all I can say. I would advise against eating here.

Fantastic - my wife and I went on June 4, 2023 for dinner. My burger and IPA were excellent, as was my wife's salad. The waitress was exceptionally good at her job - polite, friendly, not over-bearing or pushy. We honestly can't think of anything we would change, it was a great time out and if we're in Indianapolis again, we will definitely come back!!

We had a dinner in one of the private rooms after my brother’s small marriage ceremony. Our server Franklin was extraordinarily and just one of the nicest servers I have ever met. He was working alongside a young lady (I can’t exactly remember her name… it started with a J) She was amazing as well. She remembered my children’s names and was so kind to them. The food was delicious. The truffle frites were *chef’s kiss”. It was a wonderful experience and a great way to end the evening while celebrating my brother and my new sister in law.

The Spoke & Steele restaurant is exactly the type of place that you would want to visit when visiting Indy. It was quiet, appropriately lit, and had a menu that boasted dishes of French inspiration. The staff here was incredible and timing between the Soup and Main Entrée was spot on. As someone who hails from the Mushroom Capital of the World, I put their mushroom soup in my top five best that I have ever had. Would most certainly eat here again when visiting Indy.

If I could do 4.5 stars I would! The atmosphere was wonderful and the staff were wonderful (shout out to server Eric who worked the morning of the Colts Titans game!) The game day menu was a nice touch. My husband and I had the chicken & waffles and biscuits & gravy. The chicken & waffles were pretty plain but VERY delicious! Syrup was on the side and no hot sauce offered. Felt like an opportunity to make it a plate, but the taste of the chicken and the waffle made up for it. The biscuits & gravy were good but it felt like they were trying too hard to make something simple fancy. The gravy had literal cubes of charcuterie and the gravy itself was thinner. The taste was good, texture not great. The biscuits were good but quite small for the amount of gravy provided and the eggs. It was disappointing, but again taste was still good! If you’re not picky about Bs&Gs it’s worth the try. All in all a nice experience, would come back.

Scallops and bread pudding were pretty outstanding. Prime rib wasn't my favorite but the sweet potatoes were good. Not overly expensive, nice staff. Went on Valentine's day and it was pretty slow.

This place is amazing! As a native Louisvillian, I can say their old fashioned is to die for. Nathan was super personable and very knowledgeable about their cocktails. He definitely elevated the experience and ensured that every guest was happy and taken care of. When I go home I will definitely be recommending this place highly. The cocktails are balanced, creative, and thoroughly delicious. A complete hidden gem!

Amazing brunch -- superb atmosphere, affordable, and fantastic food. We all ended up getting the Biscuits and Gravy, and I got a bloody mary. Our waiter, Sapphire, was super helpful and speedy in making sure we have everything we need!
