Our
first
time
here.
Deliberately
came
at
5:45
to
beat
an
evening
crowd,
place
was
about
a
quarter
full
and
noise
wasn't
a
problem.
Got
the
fried
chicken
dinner
with
the
AMAZING
grilled
asparagus
doused
in
vinaigrette,
pecans
&
pickled
rhubarb,
&
the
chopped
lettuce/veggie
salad
(pleasantly
light).
Fried
chicken
was
pleasantly
moist
with
flavorful
batter.
The
honey
butter
that
came
with
the
biscuits
could
have
used
more
honey,
but
still
tasty.
Companion
got
the
evening
special,
crab
cakes
with
pesto
and
apple
relish;
he
said
they
were
very
good.
Our
server
Amy
was
very
good
and
checked
on
us
periodically
to
see
if
we
wanted
anything.
An
enjoyable
meal!
😀
Note:
On
this
May
evening
the
front
windows
were
open
to
the
street,
allowing
road
noise
from
Shelby
Street;
it
wasn't
a
big
problem
for
us
but
might
be
for
some
if
seated
too
near
the
window.
