Ordered a burger with tots and the cinnamon donut holes for takeout. Burger was decent. The tots were hard like they had been cooked in old grease. I fed a few to my dog but I couldn’t eat them. The donut holes were ROCK HARD. I mean actually not edible, break your teeth hard. I never write reviews this is my first one. Maybe better in person but I won’t be trying.

Isaiah was our server and was amazing! Excellent service from start to finish. Much appreciated. 🎉 Hubby's Bourbon BBQ burger and loaded fries were tasty. Solid portions and everything was well made and fresh. My Deep South Mac 'n Cheese was only okay. Lighter om the cheese sauce than I'd hoped but what was there tasted good. Chicken was unfortunately dry but at least was okay with the pasta/sauce and there was plenty of it. Wasn't really a fan of the chips and dip trio. The dips themselves were standard. Chips didn't taste fresh but still usable. Overall will still go back to give it another shot!

Fun and friendly service! Comfy and cozy, laid back atmosphere. Weekdays are chilled, weekends are hit and miss although it can pick up quick! Plenty of outdoor seating for those days that allow. The appetizers are EXCELLENT!! Drinks are top notch although I think that about drinks anywhere I go! Lol 😂 😂 😂

Food was good. Service was not. Took forever even though we were the only ones at a table. There was another small group at the bar being served by the bartender, not the same server we had. He wasn’t very friendly. He messed up our checks and charged me a bill almost twice what mine should've been. Then, he said he fixed it but it still hasn’t been changed on my end. This was the first time ever that I didn’t tip. I would sympathize if he was busy but by the way he continued to hang out with one of the other guests rather than bring us our check, he clearly was not. Food’s good. Just go there with a lot of time on your hands for the slow service and be sure to double check your receipt in case they mess up.

Came here with a group of 5 guys (all in our early 20s) to get drinks and some food on a Friday night. We enjoyed ourselves and are planning to go back in the future. The drinks were solid and pretty reasonably priced. Our waiter was awesome and provided great service during our time there. The only food I tried were the Loaded Tots that my friend ordered, and they were quite good. Don’t have any real complaints here, just wasn’t blown away (nor was I really expecting to be, to be fair). Overall, this is a cool spot that seems to cater to a variety of customers. Inoffensive, but I wouldn’t say it necessarily excels at anything either. I will say it’s a better-than-average place to spend a Friday night in Carmel, and I really think any group, regardless of age, would feel welcome and have a positive experience. Give it a try!

Renee was very friendly and helpful when deciding what to eat. She had at least one recommendation from each section of the menu which made our decision easier. Our only dislike was that the restaurant had live music playing while also playing the radio/stereo system. My husband and I couldn't really hear each other talk when sitting across from the table.

This place has a nice vibe! There's a DJ on Friday and Saturday. They request ID after 10pm. For large groups, I suggest RSVPing before going. PSA: I watched someone get put out by security for recording the bar staff without permission, so don't do it! Anyway, if you want a club vibe without going to the club, this is a good place to start ✨️ I ordered the California club sandwich with fries and the bday girl got a slice of chocolate cake. I usually get fried pickles but this time they tasted like old grease so returned them. Everything else was really good.

This place is amazing. Me and my husband did enjoy our night here. I ordered the Seared Salmon, salmon tasted great but I'm not used to the lemon flavor on cauliflower rice. For appetizers, I will recommend the flatbreads, the pepperoni one that we ordered was great!

The chicken quesadilla on the bar eats was pretty good, I’d recommend but the drinks are overpriced. The Havana classic mojito was full of mint like excessive like they were trying to get rid of. One of the leaves were brown too. Strawberry lemonade was sweet and tasted good but almost like no liquor in there.

I was there for a company party. We had the upstairs exclusively. Downstairs area was really nice. Two guys with guitars were playing in the background. Actually they were very enjoyable. Mostly 70 and 80s. Plenty of TV's along the bar. A nicely laid back place. Definitely will return.

Food was good, service was great but it was SO dark we had to use the flashlight on our phones to read the menu and be able to tell one sauce from another. Still giving an overall 5 star rating but really not sure we'll ever go back for dinner.

This place was perfect for unwinding after hours with yummy food and drinks. The staff was helpful and the patio featured a fire pit. The chicken club sandwich hit the spot.

I was celebrating my mother in law’s birthday. We ordered several things. Tacos, burgers, tots, and wings. Everything started out great until I ate the undercooked chicken. I was sick the rest of the night.

We had a large group of coworkers and we ordered at different. We placed food orders at different times but our server never put our order in the computer. This happened multiple times through the evening. We waited over an hour for a burger and fries! The food was good. I would be willing to give them another try and see if service is better. BTW - we were there on a Tuesday evening which they have half price burgers. They were quite busy. But not an excuse to lose an order.

Sorry to hear of this location closing, but the service I received at the bar was just poor, very poor. Atmosphere was awesome and I guess that makes one expect more from the food and service. Who doesn't remove old drinks and eaten appetizers from your Table? When I left, All the dishes from everything we had consumed was still sitting in front of us. And the place wasn't even busy. Guess it goes to show...

The food was very good. The service and atmosphere could improve. Had the Bourbon BBQ burger, would order again.

First time, last time. Went to pick up food for my daughter while we were at Sugar Creek Winery for trivia. Food wasn't ready on time. Left came back, still not up front. No one at hostess stand and waited 10 minutes both times with the food being ready after it was 30 mins late. Another family wanted to complain while I was waiting because they couldn't get service at their table. I got to witness poor take out service and poor in restaurant service in the same visit. Pretty sad. Will pack a PB&J for my daughter next time and certainly won't be visiting again. PS, if you at least say sorry, that goes a long way with customers. The hostess couldn't have cared less about the delay and seemed like she was being run ragged to stay on top of what looked like an understaffed restaurant. My daughter really liked her flat bread pizza though.

Excellent experience here tonight, I would give bonus stars if I could. The service was fantastic, friendly, but not intrusive - we never had an empty drink. We were very impressed by the food and learned it is a made from scratch kitchen. This was most apparent in the refried beans which were stellar. Next level stellar - get an extra side stellar. My wife had the fish tacos to glowing reviews. I had the crispy chicken sandwich melt with loaded tater tots and am still drooling over it. We were talking to the manager about the building and found out the brick inside is reclaimed from old Chicago buildings. It gave it a really cool feel. It seems to be setup to enjoy in summer time as well with numerous garage doors and windows that can be opened. Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

The jalapeño and honey wings were very tasty. The side salad was an absolute joke. For starters the portion of it was not any regular size salad I’ve ever seen. And it only had cucumbers, tomatoes, and onions on there. The salad toppings didn’t seem too fresh. I did have a sangria, which is not pictured and it was very good.

What is going on with this place lately?!? I love the food here but, for the past year, the service has gone way downhill. I keep trying to give it a chance because the food usually is good. Today may have been my last straw. Lunchtime during the week, I sat at the bar because I feel like you typically get served faster there. The bar only had a couple other people seated and there were a handful of tables with people sitting. I waited over 10 min with multiple employees walking by me and looking at me but not acknowledging that I was even there. Get it together Bar Louie Carmel.

Food, ambiance and drinks are amazing. Flat breads are awesome, drinks were generous. Staff is ready to help with any kind of customizations to food and drinks!

Easy going place with a cool atmosphere. Nice staff. Patio seating is nice and covered. Pretty neat in a light rain actually.

Food was ok for the price. My low rating is because the service and kitchen was terrible. We were seated on the balcony and then our waitress promptly forgot about us. Then half of our table's food came out. The other half of the table waited another 45 minutes for our food.

We came in around 7:45 on a Saturday night recently and ordered a late dinner… we started with these excellent fried pickles! I loved the spicy dipping sauce best! I also had from the appetizer section salmon sliders with fries.. I really enjoyed the sliders… the fries were meh…. Also, we had an good, friendly server, but she’d disappear for awhile.. My problem was that the restaurant clearly had many tables open… but as a sign of the times they didn’t possibly have enough wait staff to open up the upstairs dining room and MANY tables on the lower level were not filled, but still we waited.. about 15-20 min (no room at the bar or outside).. then we were told that the kitchen was running behind and were they ever.. almost 30 min to get the friend pickles.. the entrees came out not too long after, which I dislike. Overall the food was decent elevated bar food and some good drink selections, so I’ll come again, especially since it’s so close to my house.. hopefully they can get the appropriate Staff in there to make the experience better..

It really depends on who is working whether you have a good experience or not. I've been there twice. Once a few months ago and it was all around pretty good and last night it was all around pretty bad. The food was alright but the waiter kept disappearing for long periods of time. I felt trapped waiting for my bill. I've never taken so long to dine before anywhere.

My experience wasn't great. There were many reasons why. I don't blame the service but I do blame the management. Food was amazing. The drinks were the issue. Keep in mind, that these are expensive drinks. First and 2nd round they were filled to the brim, 3rd round, only 3/4 filled. We complained with proof because we had pictures. Instead of taking care of the issue, they argued with us... which embarrassed me in front of my guests. We were not drunk, and the place was not overcrowded. After several other smaller issues, I felt like I was taken advantage of and I will not recommend this location.

WOW this is a great place to go in a late night date. Seems when I was young 11pm on a Saturday night wasn't late at all and most places were open until 1am. Well times have changed and this is one few that we are lucky enough that stays open late. The night life vibe is fun! The food and drinks are spot on! Our server Katy was great!
