This is a critically under-visited bar that deserves more attention. They serve their own beers, and they are pretty good and varied, have a horror theme, and play movies while you're there. It's a small neighborhood place but it's not that far from the beaten path. Check it out sometime

Tonight the light, highlight of our evening was brought by the darker side of the folks at Scarlet Lane!! We couldn’t ask for better service if were Paul Sheldon at the home of Annie Wilkes (prior to killing off his darling). They were quick with service and kindness like Michael Myers with his knife in the town Haddongton,IL. We’ll be back soon, Scarlet Lane!!! By the light of the moon, we’ll be back!!!

The pizza was pretty good, the music was a little loud for a Tuesday evening neighborhood bar.

Good beer and pizza with friendly staff. Hang out inside or outside on the patio areas and enjoy the sun. I really loved the Erik Bloodaxe. But don't order it unless you're ready to go into battle. At 11% you're going to feel this assault on your taste buds. But it's worth it. Pizza is good too. A great stop if you're in the neighborhood.

Terrible service, terrible beer, and an owner, with zero respect for the other local businesses in the area. It was only after experiencing not so great beer, and terrible service that I learned of the owners willingness to work with a bad landlord, to destroy the bakery next-door for their own purposes. If you care for good beer, good customer service, honesty or integrity, don’t go here.

Excellent neighborhood bar. Love the horror theme. And the beer selection/variety is very good.

Great atmosphere, it has a horror movie theme and a friendly staff. I like the Sammy Terry beer. The food is amazing. I had had the pimento cheeseburger 5 times now. It is cooked perfectly with fried green tomatoes. I will be going back often.

Adam is the best worst bartender in Indianaplois. His take on the end of The Thing doesn't match mine, but shows he knows what he's talking about. I loved his 80s play list; but I wish he got to play his black metal play list instead. The hoppy beers were sublime, the entertainment was spot on; 100% will go back to hang out with him again

I’ve been to the original brewery location many times but tonight was my first visit to the gastropub. The food is INCREDIBLE and the beers are great as always. Can’t wait to go back, and to introduce this place to our friends!

A quaint but mighty neighborhood staple! I was immediately excited by the outdoor picnic tables and cute lights in the back by the complimentary parking, but then it became the gift that kept on giving with bike racks neatly placed along its side and even more table seating offered in front of the main entrance. So much room for activities! Gotta love the horror-ish decor embraced by all the Scarlet Lane sites, too! Perfect for this Halloween season! Plenty of indoor seating available as well. I have to say, we were "those guys" tonight that showed up with a group of 20 thirsty patrons out of no where, & the 1 bartender/server available handled us flawlessly. I think we tapped a few of the kegs. Oopsies! Luckily, they were perfectly prepared to serve up our favorites via chilled bottles. Seriously though. Such a large group can be so overwhelming, but the gentleman serving us remained friendly, hospitable, and available throughout the evening. Such a great job on stellar service!! Can we talk about this menu, too??? The Fall 2021 seasonal menu serves up much more than your standard bar food. The fresh ingredients offered let you fill your belly with quality and hearty substances. I opted for the flatbread that was topped with such flavorful ingredients as sweet potatoes, broccoli, & blue cheese. Pinkies out, folks! This was delicious! It went perfectly with my Dorian Oatmeal Cream Pie Stout and the Katrina Brown. Recommend!! All the stars! Thanks for hosting us, Scarlet Lane Gastropub!
