We had a great experience at Big Lug! What I didn’t know is that they’re owned by Half Liter which I’ve been to as well. We walked in and they weren’t busy so we immediately got a table. Our waitress was extremely friendly and attentive to us. For food, we started with the breadsticks as an app. Those were really good! As my entree, I got the Tenderloin with curly fries. Both were phenomenal. The fries were crispy and hot, and the Tenderloin was fried to perfection. Overall, I’ll definitely make it back here at some point!

My husband ordered the Italian Beef Sandwich and Autumn Slaw. He said he wouldn't order them again. The giardiniera wasn't as expected. Resembling pot roast vegetables and very limited in quantity. I ordered the smash burger and chili. Neither were overly impressive. Just standard food fare. We ordered the fried cheese curds which we both enjoyed. I asked for a side of marinara, which the waiter forgot. 🤨 I asked if they offered any seltzers, which I was told they were sold out. This restaurant has exquisite outdoor dining options. The building/art is very beautiful. The food just wasn't at the same level.

It's OK. The Italian beef wasn't that good unfortunately and the beer wasn't "bad". Seems to be lacking, but it was my 1st time here so I won't knock it out just yet. Waitress was nice and attentive, clean facilities. I'll have to give it 1 more try before adjusting this review. Edited 5/18/23 Same applies.

Went here whilst working in Indy. Love the atmosphere here. As soon as I walked in it felt warm and comfortable. The up stairs and downstairs both have bars and TV's that play sports. Our Waitor, who's name eludes me, was awesome. Attentive and helpful. The food was awesome. They also serve Delta-8 seltzers there. You can also get stuff to go. Highly recommend this place and will be back when returning to the area!

Absolutely delicious food, located right on the Monon! We sat on the outdoor 2nd floor patio and had no trouble getting a table on a Sunday evening. Their pork poutine was a must-have, and filled up 3 of us so much we couldn’t finish our actual entrees. Their burgers are divine and the slider size is enough to fill you up. Their fried mushrooms side comes with a yummy horseradish sauce and their honey Brussels sprouts are awesome. Will be back for sure!

What a pleasant evening! We were down a kid, so we decided to take the girls out someplace new. Landed here due to old time family connections, I guess. Thankfully our experience was exactly what we had hoped for! Adrian was a superb waitress. Especially with a family on a Saturday 😉

Got food togo and had a picnic in the car lol. All the food was awesome. My 1/2 order of the Philly Fanatic sandwich was MORE than enough for 1 person. Tons of steak and LOTS of cheese. Order of wings was alot for 1 person too (10 piece) Wings were huge and very good. Got fried mushrooms as an appetizer and side of brussell sprouts with my sandwich. I'll say that the brussell sprouts had WAY too much oil. Seemed like they had been floating in olive oil and scooped onto my togo box. That's my only thing I would definitely take abd fix

Do yourself a favor and stop here! Their food is amazing and the service is even better. Jeff is the best. He is so easy to talk to and super helpful about fun places in Indy to check out. Rarely give 5 stars but this is definitely it.

What a WOW experience. My five year old and I walked in the back door like we owned the place, we were greeted by every employee. They all smiled. While we ate ( I had a blackberry pie drink and the Philly.((both employee recommendations (((A++)))))) our delicious meal: 1: it was hot hot hot. And kiddos food not “too hot” 2: we’ve been checked on by multiple employees, all who were exceptionally warm and friendly. 3: the music. The energy. And environment here is so chill. Good. Quick and family friendly service. Great, tasty food and drinks. Will be back. And will bring friends.

We don’t live near this place but we love to come here when we can. The portions are very generous and I’ve never had a bad meal. I think the bread is all freshly baked and is delicious. I had a technicolor Pachyderm beer and loved it. Definitely give it a try.

food is really good. go here for the food. The beer is okay. Good neighborhood bar. Great atmosphere. they don't have flights or short pours. My wife felt her Moscow mule was very gingery probably because it included fresh ginger but that's a matter of taste. I like my Bahn lug sandwich. Love the artwork. service was fine but nothing outstanding

Great lunch spot. Fast a friendly service. Pictured is the Willie’s Special with Hot Nashville chicken. This is hot, so be careful. I’ll go with mild next time. I’ll be back for sure, it’s a good vibe here.

Simply awesome experience for our Mother’s Day gathering of 17 people! No reservations, but we arrived before 5 and we were able to be seated at 3 tables near each other. Brendan was our server and he did a great job managing the crew. The food came out fast and was delicious - pork tenderloins, chicken tenders, hand cut fries and pizza were all crowd favorites plus some great beer as well. Thanks for making our family time fun!

We had amazing service at Big Lugs in their 21+ area! The food was also perfect and the beers were well priced. I loved the fried mushroom side. We also had to get two orders of the poutine because it was that good with gravy on it and perfectly cooked fries. I enjoyed my beers that I had and felt like I got a good deal on them.

Great food. Good beer. Right on the Monon. Favorite menu items are the Bahn Lug sandwich, hot-honey Brussels sprouts, and the Fun Guy mushroom pizza.

My husband and I just discovered this place and it was pretty good! Our server was Dayana and she did an amazing job! We tried the special Lug Nutz and it was stunning! You don’t even realize that you are not eating meet! We will definitely come back :)

Delicious food and really good service. Had our 16yr old son and were seated fairly quick. We will be back.

My partner and I went there for a date. Had no clue about the place. We were just trying to find an open place, something affordable with a good variety of stuff. They have an awesome late nite menu for appetizers. We both got the gunslinger burgers. OMG! Massive portion! Could have skipped the appetizers and then some! Don’t even get me started on the ranch!! Yum!!! 10/10 !
