Used to love this place, eat there constantly, and always felt welcomed but the service has really gone down hill in the last 6 months or so; especially on carry out orders. No one greets you or even acknowledges you when you walk in (servers would rather dance in the middle of the floor or sit at the bar with their heads down). Twice now, my food has been cold when I've picked it up and over cooked (super dry tenderloin one week, chicken tenders the next). Last Sunday, my friends waited at the bar for 10 minutes while the waitress ignored them. Eventually, the bar back (Topher) came up and took their orders. He's been the only friendly person in the last few visits. Where is Johnny and Kat?!

Great place for eating, drinking, & being merry! Hey also the chicken 🐔 fingers & remolaude sauce is awesome. Local fresh chicken wow 👌

Ended up here after a bad experience at Greg's. Definitely the better spot, serves food and doesn't try to treat their customers like escape convicts. Appreciate you Olly's.

I can't recommend downtown Olly's. A simple answer as to why is that I was legitimately heckled by a drunk at the opposite end of the bar named Brian. I was not looking for any trouble and did nothing to warrant the ire of this (blatantly intoxicated or inebriated individual) other than to swing in during my break from work dressed in my work clothes. This place is not friendly to professionals and I recommend going elsewhere as long as the staff tolerates people like this... your hard earned money is conditionally welcomed, despite the fact you directly support the working class and are a public servant. As a member of the community, I will not return and voice my dissent to fellow individuals. Do better.

On January 30, 2023 - I spent a few hours eating and drinking and opened a tab on my credit card. When time came to leave - I finalized my tab and was issued my receipt which I have with the total of $49.39 to be applied to my card. Upon reviewing my bank account - I discovered that my card was actually charged $98.78! There was no justification for charging my card for more than the actual bill. This is theft. The Server's name on the receipt is; Victor T. I'm informing the public about this in order to possibly prevent it from happening to others if this is a recurring practice at Olly's? I have not been back. This incident left a bad taste in my mouth about this business.

Other than the obviously overserved customer that wouldn’t leave us alone this seems like a Cool comfortable little spot. Food on the combo basket was really just all frozen low quality stuff. BUT I would go back again to try the breakfast since I’ve heard it’s great. Nice enough staff .

Passing through town for a few days, this was the only place open at 1 am serving both alcohol and food, so my friend and I said "let's go!" Got there, the staff was more than super friendly, the food was great, and the alcohol was STRONG (or we were lightweights). Either way, we loved it, went back the next night having the same experience, and would 10/10 recommend and go again!

Amazing, amazing, amazing! I go out once in a blue moon and whenever I am there I am treated with such respect and Larry makes me the best burger! Now that I’m home sick I crave a meal now and again. Ordered the sloppy joe, onion rings, tots and fried green tomatoes twice because it’s all so on point! You guys rock!

Staff were friendly. Well priced drinks and food. Slightly dated venue. Had a nice lineup during the week for events.

I have not had a bad experience here other than the fried green bloody Mary yuck food is awesome place is always neat and clean server is friendly and awesome. This is my favorite place to go after working the night shift liquid Marijuana is the best drink for me.

I came in at 12:50am I sat at the bar for ten mins before I was even acknowledged on a night that is very slow for this bar. The bartender finally ask for my order, I get a sprite and a menu. After this FOR 30 mins I watch this woman flat out forget me while making more than 10-12 drinks and bring out food to people near my area in the bar (so she has to see/pass me) AS WELL AS SERVE AND CASH OUT PEOPLE WHO WALKED IN AFTER ME! Only to get a smile and a I’m sorry and free sprite. I was just here the night before and it was Rocking! Server never missed a beat. Maybe don’t place people behind the bar who can’t handle it on even a slow night.

The cooks for the 34 hr delivery service did such a good job, I appreciate you. The steak nachos and Mac and cheese are amazing😩💕

I'm currently sitting by the bar with a pepsi after driving up from the Louisville area to see a show, and at midnight I'm eating a fantastically tasty breakfast and listening to various stages of inebriated people singing karaoke...yeahhh, yeah...five stars kids.

Went for trivia on a Thursday on the patio. Best most interactive, mobile ran trivia Ive ever experienced. Come to PLAY. There are many groups who are regulars. Super recommend based on that alone. There was a decent amount of free parking when we arrived, but beware it probably gets super crowded on the weekends. Anyway service was ok, food was excellent. The fried green tomatoes and house remoulade were fantastic, chicken tenders too. Both had a thin batter and were very fresh. The drinks were strong so beware, but decent prices for sure. Not many beer option. I felt extremely welcome here and had a good time overall. My two complaints: I had to ask our waitress if she was bringing my tenders because they were clearly forgotten about. That’s always a bit of an awkward interaction for someone like me. And the bathrooms are simply gross. Smelly, wet, etc. Definitely need some attention. I will definitely be back and would certainly recommend.

Terrible experience all the way around. Place was empty and still took 25 minutes to get a poorly cooked frozen burger. All while a man seated at the bar yelled on his phone. Would advise sending your time and money elsewhere.

Easily my favorite place in Indianapolis. SO fun. Recommend karaoke. The drinks are STRONG so be sure to pace yourself!!!!! Cannot emphasize that enough!!!!!! Staff is super friendly and helpful. Clearly have the patrons' best interests in mind. Order the pineapple mimosa it's really good. Oh and the fried mushrooms!!!!!

I really enjoy going to Ollys when Ryan is working. He makes some of the best food I've ever had. I came in a few times and had my food burnt or undercooked, one night i came in couple weeks ago and asked for my burger to be cooked a certain way, apparently he only knows how to cook burgers properly bc any other time i ask for medium I always get charred. I hear a lot of regulars like Ryan, with all this positive stuff I hear about Ryan and his cooking I would hate to see food sales after he leaves. I would try and keep him at all cost Also the only cook that will come out and ask how your food was if he’s not busy there, probably the only cook that cares bout the customer

Server was amazing, food was delicious (fried green tomatoes!!), drinks were great and a good price, karaoke was so much fun to watch! Highly recommend.

It was fabulous, let me talk to you now, there is this cook on overnight named Ryan I think everyone to head over at 11pm and have him cook your food…. Your just wasting your money if he isn’t cooking it
