Absolutely incredible dining experience. Cozy restaurant with plenty of little touches- blankets on chairs, complimentary champagne- with the best fried mushrooms I've had. The kimchi is astoundingly good and the service incredible. My photos don't do justice to the plating. Jennifer was an awesome server! The Great: Korean mushrooms, Ssam, Paloma mocktail The Good: Shrimp and grits, ginger mocktail, the duck Other: Apple dutch baby, yellowtail sashimi Edit: 4 months later and I'm still thinking about their fried mushroom app. BUY THAT.

I learned of Tinker Street Restaurant from a tiktok and wow does this place impress. Be warned, it is a bit more expensive than what you might be used to in Indiana, but the food is excellent. On Thursdays, they have a wagyu burger special that is only available that day. It is constantly changing so you never know what exciting flavor will tickle your tastebuds that Thursday. Every dish is crafted with detail to each ingredient that makes the food complex and complimentary. You will be blown away by combinations you may have never imagined. I highly suggest the Korean mushroom appetizer. There were so many options, I will have to revisit this wonderful location. I would suggest reservations because they are very busy due to the amazing food. Treat yourself and maybe a loved one. You won't be sorry you splurged on yourself. You deserve it.

Amazing restaurant and experience. The servers and sommelier are very knowledgeable, the food is so unique and well crafted, the atmosphere and decor are lovely. All in all a great experience with great locally sourced foods and great vegetarian and vegan options.

Tinker Street in Indianapolis exceeded all expectations! The pork chops were tender and packed with flavor, perfectly cooked. The addition of peaches with seasonal vegetables added a nice sweetness to the savory dish. The warm ambiance and friendly staff made the dining experience even more enjoyable. 🍽️😍🌟

We went for Mother’s Day, we have been several times now. Sunday is a little different, it’s a simplified menu. Everything we had was great as always. Flavors, presentation, unique dishes. Loved everything about this little place and our waitress, Jen was absolutely amazing. Our water was always full, never a dirty plate left on the table long. I can’t say enough great things about this place. I like a limited menu if I know the food is fresh and done well. I’d rather have that than a huge menu where everything is brought in frozen and full of preservatives. One of my favorite restaurants. Oh, and the champagne is a fun addition.

On a business trip to Indianapolis this is a restaurant we decided to visit based on its google rating of 4.7, we figured with the writing that high I had to be pretty good and it lived up to our expectations completely! It was only one thing I didn’t like about this restaurant everything on the menu sounded delicious so trying to pick one of the dishes was very hard especially after waitress explain each dish in detail. I had the Barramundi fish plate and it was cooked to perfection!!!

Food was good, with some dishes being so good (carrot gnocchi was richly flavorful and texturally ethereal) they made it hard to be impressed or excited by the others (halibut was technically flawless with [almost-boringly] classic flavor choices). Desserts stole the show; strawberry ice cream with crystallized basil and fig ice cream were outstanding and the ricotta donuts are not to be missed. In other words, Tinker Street's return is a welcomed one!

We like to try out new restaurants whenever we travel for work. This one was a gem. We both enjoyed our food, drinks and the atmosphere. The (I assume) manager greeted us with a small champaign toast and I observed her going above and beyond to greet all of the guests and make sure things were going well at all of the tables. My gf options were very good!

Service, staff, atmosphere, food and music were all excellent. The only thing I could say is that the brussel sprouts and kimchi seemed way salty for my taste but were way flavorful. Next time I will just try something else. I am pretty sodium sensitive.

I attended with a friend. The experience was lovely. Happily, they accommodated my dairy restrictions. The server was the best. The food was plated prettily. Sadly, every dish but the dessert was just "okay" because they were over-salted. I have been there before and do not recall thinking that, so, hopefully it was just an off-night. But I took off a star because of it. As a side-note, was sorry to see they no longer offered a tasting menu. Not many places do that around here.

Enjoyed a birthday dinner here with some friends. Everything was absolutely incredible! We ordered several appetizers, a bottle of wine, an entree for each of us, and dessert. The mushroom pierogis and the Korean fried mushrooms were my favorite apps from the night. I ordered a duck Parmesan, which was the special for the night. All of the food was phenomenal and the staff was lovely. Highly recommend Tinker Street for any special occasion, or just because you like amazing food!

Tinker street is a great restaurant, we loved how the waitress brought a free apéritif at the start of the meal, great service! The menu is really interesting, perfect for mushroom lovers! The tables are quite close together, keep this in mind if you prefer a more private or quieter dining experience. We had a table booked at 6 on a weeknight but it got busy by 7. We ordered the baked peach starter, It was gorgeously presented, loved the goats cheese but other than that I found it underwhelming. For the main course I ordered the duck. It was sensational and I finished every bite! Plenty of menu options to choose from, will come again.

This was such a beautiful little place. The food was delicious, the staff were awesome. We started with a Charcuterie board. My husband and I got the steak meal and my brother in law got the pizza special. We had a bottle of wine and my husband had a whiskey drink w a cookie in it lol. We got dessert too!! Delicious!! We would definitely go back!!

I love coming to Tinker Street because of the buzzing atmosphere and great service. I would recommend the pork belly and chicken with caviar as they were the best dishes at our table.

I hadn’t been to Tinker Street since The Before Times. It was every bit as magical as I remember. I don’t take food photos so you’re left to your own devices to imagine perfection. Went with friends, ate a metric ton, and everything was perfect. The fan favorites included: fried Korean mushrooms, pork something or other, pea risotto, ricotta donuts, and the bartender. Bartender was clutch.

First of all, service was great no problem, quick response and informative. Sadly our food was bit too salty, soup was fine tho. We were surprised to see the size of oysters, they're small and don't taste fresh, they soak it in lime juice (normally everywhere it'll be just a tiny squeeze) so it was purely taste of lime instead of oyster. Duck meat taste so salty, honestly it was too much usage of hoisin sauce for my liking. The cocktails were amazing, no problem. Definitely a bit too overpriced

Went to celebrate our 18th anniversary, and do our tradition of trying something new. First off, the food was amazing and our waitress was very spot on with recommendations. However, their moto shouldn't be "make your special evening one to remember at Tinker Street" or claim "we are the perfect spot for a romantic date night", as it is certainly more corner bar meets bistro. Not my ideal spot to try and feel romantic. For the price of admission, so to speak, I would much rather have something like Union 50 or Vida. The food can certainly hold up to the cost. However I am going for the total experience, and this just wasn't it. We had: -Korean Fried Mushrooms -Cheese & Charcuterie Board -The Duck w/duck egg -Pork Belly Pastor -Strawberry Crunch Cheesecake -Matcha Cake w/espresso ice cream -Four Roses Biscof Old Fashioned -Bone Chiller

The service was ok. The server friendly but asked if we wanted refills instead of just topping off an empty iced tea. The fish was slightly undercooked for our taste, but was an overall nice place to dine. The new persimmon desert was terrific. I would go back for that desert again. The atmosphere was a closed in patio to keep warm. This would be much more enjoyable/festive on a warmer day.

My wife and I love this place service is great everyone is super attentive, our waiter was great (sorry don't remember his name). My wife had the barramundi, I had the pork belly, and we both shared the korean tacos and the miso broiled oysters (my wifes favorite) the price can be hefty but oh so worth every penny. The only small complaint I can come up with is there parking lot is small and tight if you're in a big vehicle but will definitely go again.

Great restaurant for a special occasion! Wonderful wine and cocktail list, and a sommelier to help make decisions. Miso oysters are excellent, and many vegan/vegetarian options. Highly, highly recommend!

Our first time here on a Saturday, with 5:30 reservations I'd made that morning. I'd heard a lot of hype about this place and it was even better than we expected. The food was amazing. We had the fried brussel sprouts, which was a surprisingly large portion for us to split. Just enough blue cheese to make it interesting. I had the pork belly (not your typical fatty, weirdly crispy pork belly either), it was like a fat slab of bacon & it was delicious. Pan Asian style with a fried egg to make it creamy, very well balanced. My better half had the Shrimp & Grits, also delicious. A little sweeter than expected but a little heat balanced it out perfectly. The Honey Cake with mascerated berries was the perfect finish, sweet but refreshing. Our server (wish I'd gotten her name, blonde with great aviator glasses) was really fantastic...very at ease & conversational but professional when describing dishes, not like some rehearsed spiel. Also, it was nice to sit on their enclosed patio in early April but their heaters were cranked up so high that by rhe end of our meal, it was pretty uncomfortable. All in all, a fantastic visit and a must do if you're in the area.
