I have to give Buzz and Mel 5 stars. The chicken dinner was so freaking delicious, the servings are for us big eaters. The fried chicken livers are also fire. I like their establishment, it's friendly and inviting. Only thing I'd like to see is, they get Jim Beam Redstag in. They have every other flavor but, Redstag. So glad I stopped in to try your food, certainly impressed and not at all disappointed. I look forward to the next time, you have won my business.

Really nice surprise. Great food specials, a really friendly clientele, and Brian the bartender is great! And if you're really brave ask about the Speakeasy. You know what...I just remembered I don't like crowded bars so don't go and don't tell your friends. Thanks.

The Shelby St Speakeasy is an awesome little hidden hangout on Friday nights. Beautifully decorated, great atmosphere, friendly owners and staff, good prices, and some top shelf stuff they make some tasty adult beverages with. I don’t do a lot of these reviews, but this place is absolutely worth a visit!

This place knows how to make a person feel at home! I can’t stress this enough-The owner, the bartender, the waitress, even the customers show love. This place is amazing, I feel like I’m in the 1800s and I love it! Dawn is nice, she’s like family to me:). She makes me happy and brings me gladness I get in to! There are allways good friends, and if your looking for a new friend you can allways find them

This bar was awesome. I just turned 21 and it was one of my first bar experiences and they awesome people singing and the food is absolutely amazing. Everyone was so friendly :)

One of my favorite places! Very cool atmosphere. Love sitting on the balcony and enjoying a good cigar.

The speak easy is very nice and although it is upstairs they have thought of everything to make sure you only go up the stairs once and then down when you leave with hand rails on both sides for those who really enjoy themselves. They have an balcony for smokers that is really nice and great for all. The Outlaw burger is the best I have had in a restaurant. The staff was great . I loved the atmosphere they have created.

We hosted our work group’s holiday party at the Speakeasy tonight. I can’t say enough good things. This place is a hidden gem. So unique and fun. Beautiful decor, excellent food and drinks, amazing service and ample room for everyone yet feels quaint and cozy. Dawn made the booking and food order process easy and once I was there I didn’t have to worry about a thing. They took care of everything. Book your party here, you won’t regret it.

Highly, Highly, highly recommend renting out the speakeasy for your private party! The ambiance is so special and we had so much fun! Service was great, food and drinks were great, our party couldn’t have had a better time, and the price can’t be beat!

THE SPEAKEASY IS ONLY OPEN FRIDAYS at 7pm. Sometimes Saturday. Very chill Saloon underneath but fare warning about speakeasy open days.

We had a wonderful ladies night upstairs in the Speakeasy. The atmosphere and Charcuterie Boards were outstanding. Can't wait to go back. Thank you to everyone.

This is a hidden gem in Indy! A great atmosphere all around, but the speakeasy is one of the neatest venues around. I hosted a halloween party there this year and had a wonderful time. Ryan took great care of us at the bar, and Dawn made all of the preparation and setup a breeze. Can't wait to visit again!

This is the cutest bar that I have seen. The decor is really nice. Everyone treats you like you have been coming for years. Very nice place.

Really fun event space. They have a speakeasy upstairs with bar, seating, etc. really well priced and will keep this on my list if I need a fun event space!

Food isn't the best here, but the atmosphere and service makes it 5 stars. We booked the upstairs for a party of around 20 people and it got a little cramped when everyone was together, but was still a good time. My pregnant wife went to get a drink for me and the bartender made it virgin without saying a word. That's called taking care of your guests. We missed some live music downstairs that sounded really good. I'd say the biggest downfall of this place is the space, it's definitely hard to get around with a full house.

Huge hamburger tasted awesome not dry but juicy and the salad was amazing too. Beer ice cold only way I like it. I couldn't belive price was reasonable cheap for top quality food. The place is decoratively nice.

The people are rude everyone knows everyone’s business they have roaches they were rude to my parents. They’ve called the cops on me and they are all disrespectful. It is not a place for family and friends to go and hang out worst bar I’ve ever been to in my life
