I must say that the food was really delicious specially the spicy shrimp. The portion size is large per dish which makes each item a little expensive. Each can feed 3+ people. I liked the decoration and the theme of the restaurant, it felt very authentic!! The entrance was a little weird. You walk through the hallway into the kitchen where you wait to be seated. There was no area for customers to stand. It felt like I am standing in the middle of a chaos and getting in the way of all the stuff. They didn’t have anyone in the front greeting customers. We waited about 15 minutes before someone showed up to seat us even though we had a reservation.

Honestly I know it’s a chain and I don’t think I’ll ever go back.. You walked through the kitchen and service area to get to your seating area. We had to ask for utensils to eat. sadly this place was HOT!! There is something wrong when it’s 83 degrees outside and it’s cooler to sit outside then inside.. I had a nice waiter who provided my baby with a slice of mozzarella cheese that was really nice of them that’s why I gave this place 2 stars.. But for the price of the food it wasn’t worth it.. when you pay like $30 for a smaller portion of calamari that wasn’t even a lot… which everything is like a minimum of $30 a plate for everything it just wasn’t worth it.. I think the only dish we liked was the bruschetta. The heat in the place and the food just made it a horrible experience. I feel bad cause it was so bad my family didn’t want to stay for dessert they would rather go back to the hotel and get dessert then get it there.. Sadly I don’t recommend going to this place here I would consider going to another one in other locations maybe, but definitely not here… I truly hope you all fix the service, heat and also food/ presentation of food.

This was the 1st time ever I was disappointed in service and food quality at this location. The server had stated he was flown in from California along with 4 others so they could keep up with the rush of people due to this busy weekend. But apparently it was his 1st time serving and after a 1/2 an hour late he brought our food before the entrees and then acted like like it was common people would eat the entree before the appetizer. The triple appetizer we got after after a 45 minute wait was OK at best. Cheese wedges and Calamari were barely cooked enough to eat. The shrimp was so hot neither of us who like spicy food, could ingest. This was removed from our bill due to the mix up with the entrees thanks to the manager coming over and volunteering it. The main course of Chicken Alfredo had been tossed so many times and kept warm for so long that it was very less than desirable and it was hard to even find the chicken. I will return in the future due to many past pleasurable experiences but please find better help.

Excellent food with huge portions. Make sure you come hungry. All four of our entrées Were amazing. The atmosphere is definitely unique. They were short staffed but who isn’t right now in the service industry so it’s easy to forgive them. Overall we still had great service despite the server being very busy. I definitely enjoyed this experience at Buca

If you come to Indy and you like Italian don’t miss this place. Awesome atmosphere. The food is fabulous, we shared the apple gorgonzola salad and the cheese manicotti. Shelby was our server and she was great! Check this place out!

Amazing atmosphere. It was cozy and inviting thanks to the energy of the staff. They’re very attentive and friendly. The meals are in huge portions so it’s definitely worth the prices. It wasn’t my favorite meal but I’ll definitely visit again to try something else on their menu. The type of place where you’d go with close friends or a date on. Every seat has enough privacy and space. Definitely recommend if you’re someone who likes a cozy spot.

Service was great - we had a group of 8 - not too busy - the portions are huge! A small can feed a family of four maybe…tasty as well.

Let me start by saying the two of us were meeting a family member at 6:30p. We arrived (reservation) on time and were seated in a booth as requested almost immediately. We were the second table of two in the dining room & starving since we spent the entire day flying & hitting the local mall. So we ordered an appetizer (stuffed mushrooms), water & a beer. By 7p we had out drinks & the family member was running late. The couple next to us ordered their dinner & we still didn’t have out stuffed mushrooms… another table of two sat down in the cozy dining room, they ordered their food & our water brought dinner to the other table of two, then brought dinner to the third table of two in addition too table of six that sat down while the third table was receiving their dinner. Drinks went to the table of six & still no stuffed mushrooms. Our waiter was running around, perspiring like crazy as it was 90 degrees outside and the rest of the dining rooms were filling up. There was a line going outside by 7:30p when our family member arrived and still no mushrooms… two more tables of two arrived & received their drinks & dinner) We ordered dinner at 7:40p and at 9p received our stuffed mushrooms, two chicken Marsala’s & salad. The food was great but the wait was a bit much. Not sure what happened hence the four stars.

We entered From the street and went down some halls through the back of the kitchen and wondered if we were in the right spot. We were greeted immediately by friendly welcoming staff. The food selection is abundant and is served family style. The children ordered off the kids menu and the portions were huge! They were willing to alter dishes to meet your requests. The food was yummy and the service was excellent.

What can I say? It's Buca di Beppo! Best Italian, family style entrees. Plenty of food, cool atmosphere!

1.) Walking into the restaurant was weird. We thought we came the wrong way. It’s weird walking into the kitchen but at least you can see how well kept the kitchen is. It’s not wise for customers to (Collassoal brownie into chaos. It t a few minutes to be seated. 2.) The atmosphere of the restaurant was very authentic. The many pictures on the wall tell a story. You can get lost in the place. The different rooms felt intimate. 3.) You get the bang for your buck. They are not over exaggerating when they say large portions that can feed up to so many people. I definitely had enough to take home. 4.) I signed up for the rewards program at the dinner table and was able to get $10.00 off. It’s free to sign up. The waiter put my code in to apply the discount. Just show your code. 5.) It felt like the waiters where all over the place. It took awhile to get bread. 6.) The food was good. I had the meatball spaghetti (the three meatballs were big and I love it!!!) and my friend had the lasagna (I tried it and it was good) I want to go back and try the dessert (colossal brownie sundae)

The staff was great! Super friendly and helpful. We were in from out of state for a convention and didn't think to have a reservation. Even though they were booked they were able to seat our party and still be attentive. We will be back with a reservation next time. Thank you for the hospitality.

They were short staffed but that's okay. That's the way the world is right now. Madison was a great server and the spaghetti and meatballs were delicious! Great environment!

Bucca Di Beppo in downtown Indianapolis is an Italian restaurant and serve family size food options. This was my first time visiting the restaurant and I really liked the approach of it as you enter the restaurant it takes you right in front of kitchen to main seating areas. This place can seat many groups together as there are lot of space in dinning areas. The decor of the restaurant is interesting as you can see several pictures on the wall which brings a character to the dinning area. Our server was Monica and she did an outstanding job helping us as we were a party of around 13 adults. The menu options are amazing and they have a full bar with lots of choices for wine, beer and cocktails. Service was excellent and presentation of the food was on point. As soon as we got to our seats Monica took the orders for drink and a food and everything came out of kitchen fast. They also serve individual size meals on Thursday and Friday and can cost up to 13-15 $ per person and on the other hand the family size portion which are typically 30-35$ can feed up to 4 people. Amazing place and I recommend it.

We were traveling over thanksgiving weekend and decided to stop here. We thought it was a safe option because we like Italian and this is a chain restaurant that is doing very well for itself. To start, they had a limited menu for the holidays, which is understandable. The service was slow and clumsy. As we would ask for something our server forgot, and it would arrive after that whole course of the meal was over. When our entrées had finally arrived, our waitress informed us that our meatballs that we ordered over an hour earlier were no longer in stock. And on top of that our waitress spilled water on my mom’s head! The food seemed eatable, but was bland and should not have taken two hours to make. The next morning 40% of our party had food poisoning. The ambience good, accept you had to walk through the kitchen to get to your table. There are better options. I’m sure the rest of the chain is fine, but this particular location is struggling.

Really good food and full of flavor! The colossal brownie was our favorite! Highly recommend the stuffed shells as well. The mozzarella garlic bread was a little to much garlic in my opinion but everything was fresh and good service!

-Kids menu said it came with drinks but they tried to charge me 3.49 per kids meal drink because they said they hadn't changed out the menus yet. - kids pizza was hard and burnt at the bottom - spaghetti and meatballs was flavorless and had an aftertaste like they didn't balance the sauce right -I sent back the spaghetti and ordered a to go chicken carbonara....I went to open my order to see it and that's when the waitress decided to tell me they didn't have any prosciutto in it bc they were out. - so yet again the chicken carbonara was bland I was too tired to even send it back and I was already paying a lot in the parking garage waiting on the chicken carbonara to get finished. Definitely won't be back

I came by recommendation to this place, I wanted a pizza with Italian sausage; What Italian restaurant doesn't have Italian sausage? well, I ordered the shrimp you see in the photo; and this is the summary, hyper-seasoned, they tasted like dust, if we put it in perspective and "volcano" was the most spicy; this would be the krakatoa or tambora version. good luck 😬

Pros: Possibly the kindest staff I’ve ever met in my life. They were super friendly, attentive, and they put up with our party dressing up as “business” men who will make you an offer you cannot refuse. Cons: All 4 of us who ate the calamari now have terrible food poisoning. 5/5 Service, 0/5 food. Not sure what to make of this.

We had to spend Thanksgiving away from home this year, and decided to try the Thanksgiving feast here. Reservations were easy (and modifiable- important when teenagers can't make up their minds 🤣). The food was great, and the 6 person meal could have fed 2 or 3 more people (we had a party of 7). Reagan our server was excellent, and Steven our host was great as well. Thank you both for working a holiday!

#AccordingToArmon HUGE SHOUTOUT to Buca Di Beppo and our amazing waitress Lisa for making my wife & I’s first time an absolutely BLAST!!! My wife’s birthday was about a week and a half ago so we came to Buca to celebrate! Our hold time to be seated was almost instant and we only waited about 10 minutes for our food! We ordered The Ravioli with Meat Sauce which was very tasty, and the small fed enough for 2-3 people! And my wife ordered Chicken Alfredo from The Kids menu and it was a good portion size for 1 adult! We also received a coupon for a mega ice cream with brownie sundae, a 3 piece candle to blowout, and an Authentic Happy Birthday Song from Lisa who was absolutely amazing! She was very knowledgeable about the menu and the Italian History! Please request her if you go as she will make your visit one to remember!

The food was good but I wish they had a vegan option. The downside was the AC was out and it was too hot. You can get better drinks at other places.

Came here during Gen Con and had a lot of fun! Great decor and awesome service from our waiter. You can customize a few menu items to make them vegan and our waiter even checked the ingredient list for the free table bread to make sure it was vegan, which was very nice! The bread comes with olive oil and balsamic vinegar which was super good.
