The reviews don't lie. We arrived thinking maybe we were a little under dressed for this 5 star restaurant but the atmosphere is way more relaxed than the uppity place we thought we were walking into. It's just really cool and chill inside and has a great patio. The servers were so nice and funny. The food - you just have to go try it. We ate ourselves sick because it was so good. The drinks are creative and tasty. It's very reasonably priced all the way around. It very quickly became one of our favorite spots. I can't rave about it enough.

Absolutely love the food. I have been a couple of times and I am never disappointed. The customer service is always great. The potatoe croquettes are one of my faves.

Ember has done a phenomenal job updating accommodations inside the restaurant to help keep patrons safe. I really appreciate the addition of plastic shields between booths and servers were wearing masks, keeping their distance and making sure all the groups were seated apart from others. I felt safer inside Ember than I have at other outdoor eateries. Despite the distance, our service was still spectacular, very friendly and prompt. And our food was delicious as always. My Southwest salad with grilled chicken was fresh, flavorful and a good portion for dinner. It was a perfect light meal that I followed with a quaalude martini and bread pudding for dessert. The cocktail was dangerously good, so rich and decadent it was more like a milkshake than a martini. And the bread pudding was perfectly sweet, warm and gooey.

The food was good and the lunch service was fast too. I had their 1/2 lb chicken wings with fries for less than $10. It is way better than anything I can find in the cafeteria at work. My friend and colleague had a sloppy jack with fries. The dressing that came with my order was very flavorful and tasty. I will recommend this place anytime for lunch.

Service, food and drink were excellent. I ordered fire cracker shrimp Dare Devil Lift Off IPA and a side of fries. Shrimp came on a bed of salad and tasted great. The beer had a bit of foam on top initially; the server tapered off the foam and refilled to the brim. The fries were good. Would order all items again 5/5.

Fantastic food, service and vibe. Food was so tasty and something for everyone. I have a hard time with certain foods and when I ask for something to be omitted I’m often told “it’s already in the mix” NOT the case here. They made it just the way I wanted it and didn’t make me feel like I was inconveniencing them. House Sangria is perfect with the shrimp and grits. And we never knew we were missing potato croquettes...boy were we ever. We will be back for more and then some 😋

First time eating at Ember, and it was not a disappointment. They smoke all their own BBQ, and it's phenomenal! The Brisket Ruben sandwich was the best Ruben I've ever had. Will definitely make this one of our regular stops!

Worth a stop around the outskirts of Indy! The menu is a mix of typical bar/grill food, but with the addition of a few unique extras! I loved the cajun fettuccine, and tried some of the dean burger and loved that too. Nothing super special about the inside, and we did wait a little longer to get our food. HOWever, we had Max as a server and that dude was a straight up baller, 10/10 made the experience worth it!

Ate here last night. Took nearly twenty minutes for our order to be taken, though once that happened, the server was attentive enough. My wife got the unwedge salad with chicken, and it looked good, but was skimpy, and for $5, more than 2 ounces of chicken would have been expected. She said it was quite dry. I got the brisket dinner. This is a joke. When it came out, it was in one piece. Nobody serves 8 ounces of brisket in one chunk. It did not look appetizing, and once I took a bite, I realized why. It was dry, and NOT BRISKET! It looked, felt, & tasted like pot roast. The vegetables and potatoes were good, but even a good BBQ joint would not have charged $24 for this meal. My wife also got the lemon drop drink, and that was good. Can not recommend, will not be back.

Amazing staff, Great food, great drinks, reasonably priced all around great atmosphere. The wings and sauce are hands down the best we have ever had, worth a stop just for those alone. We have been several times and plan on coming many more times.

It’s very subpar food. Like a place you would see Gordon Ramsey on like kitchen nightmares where they revamp the restaurant. Maybe they should sign up for it. We ended up being there over 2 hours total. THREE COUPLES HAD THERE FOOD BEFORE ANY OF US SAW OURS. Had to ask to get our orders taken, had to ask for dessert three times maybe four no exaggeration. Food was similar to a cheap wedding venue. Cant believe this place keeps a float with what I experienced at least. Even if it was the only place open or not busy and I was in the area, I would go to chick fila instead. I wish I had something good to say but I don’t really. The baked goat cheese was like two tiny pieces chopped in half over 80% marinara. This place needs to flop so something better can take it’s place because the location is the good thing about this place. It was marinara with a dab of goat cheese on top. TO TOP IT OFF THEY MAKE YOU SPLIT YOUR OWN CHECK, instead of keeping track of your seats. ALSO ALMOST DOUBLE CHARGED US BETWEEN TABLES! I’ve never wanted a refund from a restaurant until now 😂.

I went to Ember Urban Eatery for a birthday dinner. I got the breaded tenderloin with fries. The tenderloin was tender and very flavorful. The fries were flavorful as well. However, I wish the portion of fries was bigger. I probably had about ten to fifteen fries. I definitely could've eaten more fries. The drinks are good. I got an Amaretto Sour. The atmosphere of the restaurant was nice. I don't know if there is a party area for customers, but it would've been nice to seat with all of my family instead of sitting separately.

We were visiting from South Carolina and decided to eat here after a long morning of airplane travel with 1 year old. The owners were so kind and accommodating. The place was very clean and cozy. I had the “Deans” burger was great and the fries were excellent.

They have the best tenderloin that I have ever had. Smoked wings are good also. I'm sure everything is good. Thanks Carol I. for taking me there 2 years in a row. Looking forward to 2023 visit !!!!

Our meals were excellent. Our waiter was very good. My grand daughter loved the chili (2 bowls). Only problem was the hour wait from the time we ordered till we received our food.

Max took great care of us tonight. I really enjoyed the chicken wings & fries & my wife had the pasta arrabbiata with chicken. We topped off dinner with the Carmel pecan ball for dessert. Great service, good food, good atmosphere!! You can sit outside in the great weather or catch some great college football on the four screens inside. Good choice here guys, check it out. You should have a great experience like I did this evening.
