Amazing service! Food was delicious! Took half of it home for a 2nd meal because I couldn't finish it all. Great value for the amount of food you get!

This place was recommended by some friends so we decided to try it. We had great service and they were very busy. We had the combo platter with ribs, brisket, and sausage. The ribs were very dry and tough. They tasted like they had been sitting for a few hours. The brisket was very good except it was cold. Our other issue was we ordered draft beers that cost $11 and they served them in a glass that just came out of a dishwasher and were still hot. So lukewarm beer, cold brisket, and dry ribs made for a bad experience. I'm hoping this was just a one time mistake but we won't be back soon. The two stars were for the service and hash brown casserole which were both excellent.

My wife and I have been vacationing in the midwest for the past week. We were passing through the area when we needed to find a place for lunch. My wife had mentioned a BBQ place in a nearby city that she found in a vacation guide, but had since forgotten the name of, so I pulled up my Yelp app and punched in barbecue. This place came up near the top of the list, and was extremely well rated, so I figured it must be a good one. It was rated even higher on Google and Facebook, so they must be doing something right, right? First, the address that is on Yelp took us to the middle of a housing neighborhood near a correctional facility. That was our first warning to go back to the hotel instead. Second, we saw a great blue heron just sitting by the side of the road as traffic went by, as opposed to hiding or flying as we normally see them. That was our second warning... I searched Google Maps for the name of this place, and it comes up with a different area than the Yelp address (which went through Google maps, no less) had taken us to, though the actual address looked like it was identical to the one I had previously gotten from Yelp... go figure. I told my wife and our friend going with us that if the new directions weren't taking us there, we'd just go back to the hotel. Anyway, we made it. I kind of wish we hadn't. We were waiting about 5 minutes before we got seated by a nice young lady. The waitress came a few minutes later to take drink orders (Pepsi products, blech) but hadn't handed us menus. Those came after a while longer. The waitress didn't small talk us at all, she was almost gone before we had finished talking. In fact at one point I was going to ask where the bathroom was but she had already zipped away fast. My wife ordered a BYO mac and cheese with pulled chicken and baked beans. When she got it, the chicken was in chunks, not pulled, and she couldn't eat much of it as she couldn't eat the chicken chunks as they were too big to chew. She had also gotten the coleslaw, but with green peppers and bell peppers in it, it was completely inedible. Our friend ordered a 1 meat combo with brisket, while I ordered the one meat combo with ribs (pictured). The rest of our order was the same. We got mac and cheese, cornbread casserole, and fried biscuits with apple butter. Our friend liked his brisket but commented that it was a little too gristley. To me, it looked very fatty, but it still looked better than what I got. My mac and cheese was very average. Not bad, not great. It tasted like it was out of a box. The fried biscuits were good but I wouldn't have called them biscuits. At a Chinese buffet, they would be considered cinnamon sugar dough balls. They were actually better without the apple butter. The cornbread casserole was really good in my opinion (the only reason I'm giving 2 stars instead of 1). The ribs, however, were small, tough, overcooked, and possibly left over from a previous day. They were awful, and rank among the top 5 worst ribs I've ever had. I had debated not getting them. I need to stick with my gut more often. At one point the waitress zipped by, asking if everything was ok. Our friend quickly commented "yeah!" and zip! the waitress was gone! That was a rather unfortunate time for me to be chewing on some food. I ended up finishing my wife's BYO mac and cheese which was better than the plain mac but not by much. I didn't end up completely finishing anything, a rarity for me. The waitress brought refills in to go cups, before we had even gotten the check, and she never asked if we wanted dessert, which we had been considering, but I'll never know how their peanut butter pie is because we never got the chance to order it. We felt very rushed out of there, and it wasn't even busy. Oh well, we now know not to ever go back.

We always try to look for local BBQ places so this looked promising. The service is very very good: prompt in their attention, offering recommendations, smiling and very personable. The food is a mix of really good and just so-so. The Brisket Grilled Cheese, Coleslaw, Garlic Knots, and kids chicken tenders and fries were really good. The breading on the tenderloin seemed very salty. The Mac and Cheese was really enjoyed by one member of our party and was not enjoyed by another. It is creamy and not overdone like some can be, but just lacked a bit of flavor. The combo platter has very generous portions and is a great deal for the price. My husband also liked the cola bbq sauce.

Burnt ends were some of the best I have had... The Ribs and pulled pork were very good. Hashbrown casserole was tasty...the cauliflower was outstanding! The craft beer was good. The staff was super helpful and friendly. We will back!!

Sahms is a hidden Pendleton jewel that offers an outdoor BBQ restaurant with a fun patio vibe. It is next to Falls Creek Golf Park and has yard games, bocce ball, and other fun things to do. There was live music the night that we were there, which added a lot to the summer fun vibe. Family friendly with a good bar selection.

First time trying and probably wont be back. We spent a ton of money on an appetizer and three meals that we did not finish due to not liking. The mac and cheese was very watery with no flavor. The bbq pork had a ton of fatty pieces that there was barely any meat. The ribs were very dry almost like jerky.

Found this place by chance and it was really good. The service was friendly. The combo platters come with a ton of food all of which was pretty good. The barbeque sauces were also both really good. I'd definitely stop by again.

So local experience. Convoy rocked the house. Long Island are great, the liter beer goat is pretty πŸ‘. The cheese curds are to die for. Avoid the chicken is way too seasoned, I did not like it much, pulled pork awesome, ribs are great, but brisket was the best!!!

The food and service were great. Our waitress, Joy, recommended the brisket and all three of us got something different with the brisket. OMG ,it was all so good.We will be returning in a few weeks. Going to check out the Fri. ,Sat. band . We live in Indy but, the drive is worth it. We loved our tour of the pit and property by Joy. She's awesome.

We frequent this restaurant because it is local and the food was always pretty tasty. But due to recent event of finding plastic in my mac and cheese and today, seeing a mouse in the dining area as I was waiting for my food. My fiance let the server know, she seemed not to care whatsoever and then we left. We will not be returning. I gave them a second chance when I got plastic. But once there are rodents present in the restaurant, I can't give any more chances. Who knows what is living in the kitchen. That is just beyond gross.

Because we had a large group and my elderly parent, we wanted a place where we could have a post graduation dinner without a wait or a big crowd. The staff were great and very accommodating. Dinner was great and we had a great stress free time.

Campfire beans were rancid and guacamole old as well. Guacamole in my picture looks good but it was dark, too garlicky and old.

I love Sahm's restaurants so was happy to check one more off the list. Great selection of BBQ offerings and sides. The sides are very generous portions. Great beer list from another Sahm's restaurant, Big Lug. Look forward to returning and playing the golf course next door.

Great food, fast friendly service, chill place. Couldn't pick a favorite between the brisket and the ribs. Cheese curbs were AMAZING. Sprouts & campfire beans were super yummy. Hashbrown cassarole was A+. Reminded me if cracker barrel but better. Only thing we didn't love was the wings. Good flavor but a little dry. Not a huge problem as long as you put them with sauce.

Nice restaurant on a golf course. Parking lot is shared by golfers so can be hard to find a spot during the day. Plenty of seating, inside and out. I ordered the burger this time. It was average, as were the fries. They are never shy on portion size though. I would recommend mac&cheese with pulled pork or any BBQ plate.

Walk in the door and the smell of food is enough to make you want to eat. Our ALR 182 met there for meet and greet night we enjoyed it. Very much

Food was good, service was slow but still good and knowledgeable. Great place for dinner and drinks in a town that has very little in the drink and dinner category. Outdoor seating looked fun, games to play, we didn’t sit outside but it did look like a good environment.

My mother and I dined in. There was so much food we should have shared a meal. The brisket and pulled pork were delicious. And the sweet tea was better than any other restaurant I go to. I will be trying the tenderloin at my next visit.

They were running behind and our order wasn't ready at suggested time...it was actually about 30 minutes after suggested time. The great thing about this place though, is that the woman in charge recognized this, and ended up discounting our entire order. Gestures like this have become rare but the value is still the same. We come here as much as possible and customer service like that guarantees we will keep coming back! Other restaurants could learn a thing or two from this place...
