Yolk is a spectacular brunch place in Indianapolis. The service was quick and friendly. We both had coffee to drink and it was great. For brunch, I had chicken and waffles which was spectacular. The chicken was perfectly fried and the waffles were also cooked perfectly. The waffle was fluffy on the inside which went perfectly with the crunch of the chicken. The gravy on the chicken was very flavorful as well. I ordered a side if potatoes which were a bit disappointing to be honest, they didn’t have much flavor. Overall the chicken and waffles is some if the best I have ever had and the service was great so I will definitely be returning.

Great downtown breakfast place. Big portions and incredible classic, savory and sweet selections. So good. Breakfast costs range $14 to $24 per plate.

Well ! Let me put this way, Yolk is exactly what everyone wants in their neighborhood: attentive service and flawless quality of food. It's not only about where to start your day, it goes byond that border. It's the precise brunch/lunch playlist you need as well, trust me. Most important, the food is consistently satisfying in every sense. I've been there few times and never been unpleased. The menu is exhaustive of everything to meet the expectations for everyone.

Traveled to Indy for a weekend getaway and woke up starving after the Colts Thursday night game! So thankful I found this place on Google! The staff is super friendly, the place is very clean, and the food is delicious! You get a good bang for your buck too! I ordered Santa Fe Fritata with pancakes and a chocolate peanut butter cup latte. My wife ordered the breakfast Mac and cheese which included an egg on top with a salted caramel latte and green tea with honey. Everything was made perfectly! Best brunch we’ve had in awhile!! Highly recommended if you are ever in the area!

This restaurant was incredible! I was shocked there wasn’t a wait going to it. Our waiter was James and he was so polite, attentive and knowledgeable on their menu. I didn’t get a picture of the fresh OJ and strawberry OJ, but it was delicious! Our meals were out quickly, warm, and we loved the taste. The goat cheese in the grilled cheese was a little overpowering, definitely an acquired taste. The chef still gets an A+ for the creativity and menu selection. There was comfortable indoor seating as well as outdoor seating. This location is conveniently downtown with various affordable parking options. 10/10 highly recommend! As if the food wasn’t good enough they offer a military discount even more encouragement to leave a good tip! We need a Yolk in Cincinnati and every city!

The herbal peppermint tea was so refreshing and it just zinged in my mouth. The California omelette was filled with fresh ingredients and didn’t disappoint. Lastly the pancakes were so soft and fluffy! Everything tasted so good. Well worth the stop! Staff were so friendly!

It was my first time at a Yolk and it will not be my last. Food was delicious, service was great and friendly, portions are generous and have great presentation. When my party of 5 arrived, 3 adults & 2 kids, we were greeted and seated right away. (It was 9 am on a weekday in the summer). Water is already at the table, and our drink order was taken. Menu selection sounds all delicious and it was hard to pick something, and it did not disappoint. Our waitress allowed the kids to order for themselves and she was patient and treated them with the same respect as the rest of the adults at the table. I really appreciated that. Everyone from the party thoroughly enjoyed their breakfast.

Amazing first experience during my visit here in Indianapolis. We went on Sunday so we had to wait but it was worth it!! The food was delicious and our server was very attentive and helpful when we ordered our breakfasts. Even though they were almost closing we didn't feel rushed or pressured to hurry at all.. Their menu is varied, they offered typical American breakfast options. The orange juice was fresh, their hot chocolate was tasty as well. We got an omelet, pancakes and French toast and truly enjoyed our meal. I highly recommend this place. It's located in a nice area and the space was tidy, the vibes were calm and the restrooms were clean. Great service and reasonable prices.

Great selection for breakfast/brunch. Diner style. Wife had slices of Red Velvet Cake dipped in French toast batter and fried with a side of eggs. I had crepes stuffed with Nutella cream and a side of sausage.

After a short wait we were escorted to our table. The restaurant was super cute, with a slight small diner appeal to it. There were a couple of hiccups because we made a small request and it literally took forever, but the taste and speedy delivery of the food turned this review around because that's really what it's all about. We had great things on the table like Corn Beef Hash and BYO Omelette and yummy delicious pancake. I would definitely recommend and return.

Visited July 18, 2021 We walk in, was seated immediately. The place was clean staff was friendly food was good*. * there was some concerns, one side of gravy. Can you think of a side of gravy you don’t think of a smidgen. What gravy we did get was flavorful and good. The biscuit is better with gravy. It’s dry. Jelly doesn’t add any flavor to the biscuit. I asked for egg whites to be cooked thoroughly, no running white. I receive running weights. So this is the ultimate test of a cook who can cook eggs and he/she failed. The hot cocoa we ordered didn’t seem to have chocolate flavor, an off taste. Wasn’t as strong as we was hoping it would be. After we finished the coco look like the syrup went to the bottom; so maybe stir your hot cocoa to get the ultimate flavor. Overall we would eat here again and again and again. I must visit if you’re visiting downtown Indy.

Really good breakfast. The omelet was huge with lots of stuff inside and topped with cheese. The grits with cheese were some of the best grits I ever had. The pumpkin late was really good too. They even gave me a couple of tasty pancakes with the breakfast. Delicious and filing breakfast

What can I say about this place. It delivers every time we visit. Very consistent with their food and I love the atmosphere. After a great time in the city of Indy. Thus is our "morning after" stop to reflect on the good times and enjoy great food.

I NEED a Yolk where I live!!! I thoroughly enjoyed my dining experience and plan to go again before I travel back home. Their presentation is TOP NOTCH. Water is already at the table, the menu is healthy and appetizing, and the staff was friendly and welcoming! Our food was hot and delicious! My preparation requests were fulfilled as requested without any issues (I prefer my link sausages very well done) and I was not made to feel as if it were a bother. I had generous portions of food that was presented beautifully! I really can't praise my visit to Yolk enough just take my word for it you won't be disappointed!

Initially visited the Chicago location. This is the second location I have visited and both times were exceptional. Large portions, pancakes are good, omelets are filling, skillets are tasty and service is fast and friendly! Perfect spot for breakfast or brunch. Wait times can be long but worth it.

Good brunch and breakfast place with electric fare of egg dishes, good selection of veggie friendly dishes. The staff was friendly and service was quick.

Had the chicken & waffles and I must say, the waffles are very flavorful and the chicken was cooked to perfection. The sauce added to the chicken was also perfect. My only gripe was the strawberry orange juice came in the smallest mason jar known to man lol

Not just another basic breakfast place. The food and service was great. Their blueberry and strawberry cheesecake pancakes were amazing

My husband and I came to Yolk for breakfast before we headed back to Cincinnati. We were in town to celebrate our 1-year wedding anniversary. In 2021, I had Yolk cater to our Airbnb for my sister's bachelorette party, so I knew the food was good...but OH MY GOD!! I thought there would be a wait but even as busy as they were on a Sunday, we were sat quickly. Our server was kind and checked in often. We both got the All-Star Combo which was a crazy amount of food but so delicious. The Red Velvet French Toast was beyond amazing. Honestly, everything looked and sounded so good, it was hard to choose. I really wish they would open one in Cincinnati. That would be my go-to breakfast/brunch spot.

Always great food & service. I usually don't know what to choose, so I get a few things. I have enjoyed every dish I've tried. Lol don't judge!

We were seated quickly, the staff were incredibly friendly and made sure we were well taken care of. Had one of the best bowls of porridge (oatmeal) since visiting Scotland. Lovely place to grab a bite.

My mom and I had an amazing breakfast here- the eggs benedict were delicious, and the house hot sauces had such a great flavor. Fresh squeezed oj and fancy lattes were top notch. The interior is colorful and clean, and service is top tier! Our server Bryt was super helpful and friendly and on point!

Nothing particularly bad about this place, also nothing particularly good. Everything was just OK. We did order a cherry pie latte which I give 5 stars for, it was surprisingly fantastic. Overall We wouldn’t go back.

I had high hopes with such great reviews. So to start service was amazing. Greg is top notch. Lovely server to have but as for the food. Bleh. It was overcooked and cold somehow. Have you heard of seasoning? Because it was all bland. The hot sauce thankfully added flavor. The peanut butter latte is like drinking peanut butter goop. It's really bad. Also drink cups are so tiny. Like there was 3 sips of juice in the cup. Same cups for water. Small as my fist. Edit: to answer your question. We ordered basic food: eggs/corn beef hash and the Mac and cheese. And even the drinks were gross. We would have had to replace the whole table because neither was good. So no we paid for the meals we got, ate what we could and left. No time for a whole new set up. Back to Chicago.
