Expansive dining area and large bar. Delicious food from what I could tell at least. Fairly large selection of salads, beef and brisket entrees. Not too many chicken or sandwich options though. I ordered the mini beef sliders with homemade chips and enjoyed every single bite. Man those chips were good! Friendly staff and reasonable prices.

Good service, pleasant people and the food was really good. If you like Buffalo burger and blue cheese worth a stop. Fair warning not Southern gravy so a bit on the tart side and mashed potatoes are not wet.

Pretty good food. Definitely a unique experience and a good way to be exposed to bison burgers and bison in general. The first time I went here was on my birthday a couple years ago. I had the bison bacon cheeseburger and it was really delicious. Definitely have the burgers medium well for the best flavor and texture. The meat is very lean so well done will change the taste and texture. This time I went with more people and we all got different things we hadn't had before. I got a table early and a waiter came over to take my drink order and offered to take an order for an appetizer while I waited. He was very polite and made sure my drink or my son's was ever empty. Very attentive waiter and friendly. He offered the items of the day and some of us tried them. The devour Indy event was still active so that was an option as well. Absolutely an idea to consider and it is a great way to try the food at a good cost. The food was good and came out very quickly. When we ordered dessert we also ordered a to go order and they came out at the same time. Very fast service. Pleasant atmosphere and nice clean restaurant. I will go back again and try some new menu items. Good for families and groups to enjoy a meal. Update August 2, 2023 Ordered a takeout order. Arrived and waited to get some sides. Kept waiting. A server asked if I had everything and I said I needed to sides of ranch. She walked off and never returned. After waiting a while and having other employees just stare at me and do nothing. I left. Such a disappointing. With only two tables with people why is service so poor?

The food and drinks were great! Service was slow with only a few tables and multiple servers.

Was very surprised to find it not busy for a Sunday evening. Was greeted as we entered the door, and seated promptly. Staff were wonderful, made suggestions, and answered all questions about menu. Ordered the Bison NY Strip, and it was great.

Definitely a place that will have you full off their food. Not sure how it is later in the evening but it was dead during the afternoon (Definitely not a complaint 😁). Had the following; Bison Nachos(could've been better. Definitely needed more meat) Ted's Bacon cheeseburger(Bacon, cheddar cheese, lettuce) with half Onion rings, half fries as side The Blue creek(Blue cheese, Bacon, Bison meat) Kids had the following; Cedar plank salmon with garlic mashed potatoes Chicken tenders and fries (tenders were huge BUT too much breading)

The food was excellent. I know places are "staff challenged" however, the water glasses were never refilled. I ordered coffee which was freshly brewed and delicious. I would have liked a second cup. Our waitress was very nice, just not at our table quite enough. We are not "high maintenance" customers however, I do not think these are unreasonable things. We left a very nice tip. This is not an inexpensive restaurant. Overall, it was a decent experience I guess. For prices of this nature, I would have liked a little better service.

Delicious! I ate here a long time ago when they first opened with my father. It’s not fine dining, but the atmosphere feels like that. Wait staff was friendly and on it. Burger was excellent! Onion rings were excellent, the cook needs to be shake the basket so they don’t stick, some under cooked. Only complaint. Worth a try if your haven’t been….

I've been wanting to go here for some years. Finally the stars aligned and we made 2 hour drive to Indianapolis. It was so worth it!! Please ignore my fiance. He has started photo bombing all my pics that he can. These homemade chips with french onion dip was life. You should smear this on ciabatta bread with burger on it. It was devine! I got the red rock and it was heavenly too with the bison patty. The free pickles they greet you with are an acquired taste. We love pickles, but we're not a fan. They should give you the chips instead. The place was cute, like, an old saloon. Waitress was super friendly and on the refills. Thank you for the great service.

Dinner was great. The bison burgers were delicious. There was a nice selection on the kids menu for picky eaters. The pickles that they brought to the table were yummy. Our waitress was young, unable to give drink recommendations but offered us a sample of the beer we were asking about, super sweet though and she did a good job. We ordered an appetizer which was forgotten or she didn’t hear us order it, but it wasn’t really needed and we had a great dinners. Overall it was great experience and pretty affordable. I found a $5 off coupon on their website as well.

Service was great. The decor is nice, somewhat of a high end look but still inviting. The pickles they serve when you sit down are a little too salty for my taste. Nice and crispy though. The chopped salad was fantastic, although I opted for blue cheese instead of the basil vinaigrette. Ordered the bison NY strip medium rare, parmesan broccoli and the onion rings for dinner. Steak was cooked right, but a little too tough and bland for me. The broccoli tasted good, was a little undercooked for what I expected. The onion rings are good. Wasn't as good as I had hoped, service was great, take my opinions for what they are worth.

Food was pretty good and the service was great. They gave me a ribeye when I ordered a strip, but whatever. I ate it and didn’t complain. But they sent me 2 texts while we were eating asking if we were going to keep our reservation. They knew we were there, I checked in. But the food was hot, tasty and servings were large. The Kahlua brownie was excellent and the cheesecake was yummy. One weird thing, their forks are huge…be careful or you will stab yourself in the face. A very nice dinner. I will definitely go back.

Service is very friendly, but can run a little slow during peak lunch hour. Food was as expected - I wish the fish sandwich came on something other than the whole wheat bun (?), something a little lighter/airy would really improve it.

We enjoyed our lunch - everything was top notch. From the fresh cut chips with awesome dipping sour cream! Everything was A+ to the bison burgers. The mojito bartender does needs another try because that was the lowest part of the meal....but equally expensive. $50 is not a cheap meal for 2, however with 1 alcoholic drink and 2 burger meals......hummm ouch that lunch did hurt a bit but its really BISON!!! Still this is a great place to get solid quality food. I will be back and this place even though I believe is costly is worth that cost! Will recommend

#AccordingToArmon Ted’s Montana Grill is a 5 star restaurant when it comes to their burgers!!! My wife & I ordered The George’s Cadillac Cheeseburger which is comparable to a basic cheeseburger; just with Bison meat & The Canyon Creek burger included a hard cooked egg & jalapeño! All burgers come with a side of Lettuce, Tomato, Pickle and Onion! We also ordered French fries & Onion rings and to be honest, the onion rings were okay, but the French fries were pretty tasty! Overall, for 2 meals, we pay a little over $35, and our waitress Melissa was very friendly, timely, and right on time when it came to her customer service! We will definitely be back!

Eat the bison. It’s a thing. Also make sure to wash your hands before with the (powder) soap. Our waitress was great and actually let us know of things she would avoid that evening. Overall just a great experience!

Delightful! Great visit from the moment I walked in the door - where I was pleasantly greeted - to great wait staff (Selena FTW!). Nice wine selection, excellent service, delicious menu! Bison short ribs were delicious, broccoli was perfectly cooked, and mashed potatoes, generously sauced with delicious gravy, were the perfect side. Selena just HAPPENED to mention they had cheesecake for dessert ( she must have been a mind reader!) and sent me home with a slice for later. Great dinner experience after a long week!

Husband and I found ourselves in the area. Decided to have an early dinner (430pm). So glad we did! Everything was terrific - service and food. We shared a nacho. He got the fish sandwich with broccoli and onion rings (with their amazing horseradish sauce). I got the bison brisket with carrots and garlic mashed potatoes. Had plenty of left overs for lunch the next day. Highly recommend if you are in the area!

Definitely a treat! We decided to visit here after the races and we are glad we did. We sat at the bar and Pam treated us like family! Her bartending skills are second to none! The drink consistency was on point! Oh, we decided in the chili and side salad for dinner. The portions of food were amazing.

The restaurant was incredibly short staffed, only two servers on the floor and a manager greeting the door and walking food. Our server did his best to keep up but with the number of tables he had it was hard. The crab cake appetizer was $17 for a singular crab cake-not at all worth it! We did however enjoy our bison steaks. Would have gotten dessert but didn’t want to wait forever. Oh! The house pickles were a nice surprise.

Visited 4/8/22 The food was good, above average (steaks anyways). Better than Texas Roadhouse. Price was a little excessive ($30+ for a piece of bison) The sever came around once in awhile, but for how busy the place was I feel wasn’t enough. Very classy type feeling, kinda dim type of lighting to give the “high end” vibe, but just a normal restaurant
