The food is fantastic. Fried avocado wedges were surprisingly good(I’m not a huge avocado fan). My wife’s burger(double Major) was awesome, the patties were bigger than the bun (tons of flavor). I got the lamb burger and it was great(I had high expectations too). They take reservations(highly recommended) parking is mall parking $3 if less than 3 hours on weekends. I highly recommend it if you are in the mood for good burgers. They have good selection of beers and wine. They have shakes that supposedly really good, but I went with beer instead. ***they will let you sample Draft beers!!!!!!!** it’s casual dress and there were children in high chairs so the whole family can enjoy.

Burger Study was outstanding. I was in town for GenCon and I had been looking forward to the Stranger Things burger for quite awhile. The food was delicious and I was impressed with the quality of the meat. The atmosphere was great and the staff was so friendly. I highly recommend a visit and I know that I will be back.

The burgers are good I ordered the Homecoming Burger, I also order the loaded potato salad the menu stated it had bacon in it however we saw no bacon Colin was our server. I asked him about the salad and the fact that no bacon was present, he stated: "it's was masked." Later, I told him I did not like the salad; he said Why? I said because it’s not good. He said, "does it taste spoiled what’s wrong with it ?" So I flat out said it was nasty. He took it away from the table, then brought us the check with that side salad on it, my husband was going to pay, but I disagreed. I said you can purchase items from McDonald’s, Burger King, Ocean Prime, or Ruth's Chris and return it for a refund if you do not like it, or they will ask to replace the item, why would an upper scale restaurant such as Burger Study have a NO return policy. Colin stated that " this is not something we do here "when I asked him to remove the salad from our bill. Below is a picture of my plate when it was brought to me and the picture of salad before I sent it back. I asked why you do not remove an item if I did not eat, I do not like it, He stated "because I took several bites out of it" First of I took two bites and my husband took one very small bite to try it. At this point, I wanted a manager. He also stated, "you can speak with the manager, but I can assure you they will not remove the item." He did not advise the manager I wanted to speak with them instead he went back to work, I flagged a manager down as she walked by her name was Kori, she agreed to remove the salad. My coworkers and I order lunch from Burger Study quite regular, and I am disappointed in the way my husband and I were treated when we went for lunch. I would not recommend having Colin as a server if you plan on visiting Burger Study.

First time at the Study, despite several trips to Indianapolis. I’ve been sleeping on this place and what a mistake that was. Prices are a little steep (food is a la carte, so your side is an additional cost), but I walked away stuffed and pleased. Burgers are wildly varied, ranging from beef to chicken to turkey to veggie to lamb. Sides are delicious, as well. Recommend the Mac and cheese - ask for some hot sauce. And just get a goddamn milkshake. Trust me. Get it. Our waiter was SO KIND and even agreed to split two milkshakes into six glasses for our party so we could all get a try and I nearly ordered one of each for myself afterwards.

Delicious! We enjoyed our food and our drinks were nice and strong. Our waiter looked like Mr Grey from 50 shades lol that was a plus. Place was clean portions were big customer service was good. Only downside was it was a little pricey but we will definitely go back.

Expectations = Reality Burger Study does a fantastic job of addressing food allergies. The servers are very knowledgeable, and a manager comes to your table to review your order and make any necessary substitutions. For example, for a gluten allergy, fresh jalapenos and carmelized onions in place of fried jalapeno coins and onions. They handled my friend's dairy allergy thoroughly as well. Service is very fast and friendly. Burger Study gets my vote for best burger in the downtown area.

We shared the beer cheese tots, very good. I had the Wagyu Burger, cooked medium. It was excellent. So tender and flavorful. Our waiter was very friendly and attentive. We will certainly be back.

Good burgers, feels a bit upscale with prices to match, but it is quality. I had an bit of an odd sounding special burger at Gencon, but it was actually very good. The location is fairly small, so I imagine it can often be packed on the weekend, but even during a big event our wait was only 30 minutes.

We had reservations, because we knew they were going to be busy the weekend of Gen Con. We were seated right on time with no issues. Staff was incredibly friendly and very accommodating. We were seated right by the kitchen, but I didn't feel like we were in the way of the staff. Great place for friends or business lunches! The burgers were beautifully crafted and very delicious. The cocktail I ordered was very yummy!

I tried their fried avacado wedges and this month special LGBT burger , both of them did not disappoint me. The veggie and chicken burgers are a bit bland though. Nice little please with good ambience

Excellent burger of the month, Stranger Things inspired! Eggos sandwiched around two thin burgers with American cheese, peanut butter, and blueberry jam. Server gave me the tip to add bacon. Very rich, sweet, and savory. Glad I tried it. Will be back for the traditional menu. Fried avocado wedges looked good.
