What a treat! We stopped at the raceway to see the racetrack and got so much more. The admission staff were very kind and helpful! We met a kind gentleman who worked there and he shared his experiences of working there with us and his passion of the car designs. It was a delight to share the experience with him. We loved the fantastic history and the timeliness of indy 500 drivers. The tour on the racetrack made me happy. We got out and kissed the bricks. We got to experience what it's like to be on the racetrack. Great times.

We have been going to Indy on and off for over 50 years. 2023 was a blast! The red flags at the end of the race was a bad call, but it was still a great race. We were sad to see all the good food vendors on George town road are all gone. I was looking forward to some corn on the cob. We hope to make the race again for 2024!

    We found it amazing to watch a race that was counter clock wise and all vehicles had their headlights on during the entire race! saw the Sunday Weather Tech Classic race which was amazing! The weather was perfect, parking was perfect and the golf cart ride back to our car was much appreciated;

We had a great time at the track for Brickyard weekend. All staff was friendly and helpful. Bathrooms were clean and all had toilet paper and soap which is generally hard to come by at a track it seems. The place was very clean in general. We will definitely be back. Food and drinks are pricey but that's to be expected. Races were great! Only uploaded a few pictures I got. Enjoy. πŸ™‚

An incredible place. The race and production was fantastic. The facility and bathrooms handled the 300,000+ crowd well. Tailgating in the lots was awesome. The fact you can bring in your own food and beverages is super nice and let’s you avoid a ton of lines

We ended up having some spare time and we were about 15 minutes away so decided to take a look. We were not disappointed. I'm not a huge race fan but all the history and cool old cars on top of the cool formula one cars we got to see setting up for a race the next day and calcification rounds and we even talked to a few of the racers and crew members. It was tons of fun and I'd definitely love to go back and see an actual race!

Museum closed (for renovations) until April 2025. We did the bus tour instead. Great little trip with a brief history of the venue. Definitely recommend for $15.00

Review for Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Recently visited the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum and was thoroughly impressed. The journey through automotive evolution, seeing how race cars have progressed over the years, was fascinating. It's not every day you get to see the actual winning cars from so many iconic races. The 30-minute track tour was a highlight β€” driving past all four corners and stopping at the legendary brick yard was surreal. A must-visit for anyone with even a passing interest in motorsports. Highly recommend!

I went there with my family and brother and for the first time we witnessed a racing circuit so big. The enormous racing course was filled with none as it was not a racing day or season. We went to visit the museum and we were taken aback by the sheer quality of cleanliness, maintenance and the arrangements. I had taken as many picture I could take as I am a car and racing enthusiast myself. I have seen only F1 and this made me understand that there are other racing in the world that we need to watch. The flooring was mosaic which is becoming extinct in these times, mosaic was well maintained with clean look. They also have a shop to buy souvenirs. I highly recommend people to visit the museum as it has extraordinary collections of cars and history along with it.

Such an amazing place for race fans! So much history. Unfortunately the museum is closed for renovations but I did take a tour and stopped in the gift shop. We had awesome guides who had so much knowledge about the track. Worth a visit if you’re in Indy!

It's the greatest racing venue in the world. Easy access, excellent views for all events. It's only missing elevation changes for road course racing. The Indy 500 should be on every bucket list. Watch from the 45 minutes before start till at least 10 laps in, there is nothing else that compares, even if you don't like racing.

The experience was fun, just a heads up the museum is rather small and you can walk the above ground part in about 25-30 minutes. They offer a rare collection tour under ground that’s rather pricey at $150. You can do the regular tour of the track and the museum for $30 total. Fair warning the busses that take you around have a poor setup for air conditioning and if it’s full it gets rather hot quickly. Other than that, great experience.

I loved this place. The employees were super kind. There was so much history in each car on display! We got to ride on the track ad well, and it was so cool! It was amazing. I would definitely recommend it!

If you live in Indiana, you watch the Indy 500. I don't follow nascar or Indy car but there's nothing better than the Indy 500. It's the greatest spectacle in racing. We went down for the opening day of the time trials. They did not disappoint. We sat in the grandstands on turn one, had delicious food from the vendors and watched the cars go 240mph. The kids 15 and under got in free. Everyone from our 10 year old to my wife loved it. Plan on returning next year. The track facility is super clean, restrooms everywhere, and no matter where you are you can see what's going on via the big screens and hear the announcements. My parents took me as a kid and I was more than happy to continue with that tradition. Don't forget some money for merchandise, we left with plenty and have more on my wish list. We didn't go to the museum but I plan to go back soon when we can.

Went for IMSA sports car races with a general admission ticket, venue is spectacular and found great views all through the infield and bleachers. Facility is shockingly clean and well staffed, parking is close, and couldn't have had a better day.

My brother, Doug the Wine-guy, and I went to carb day and to the time trials and every person that works at Indy were the friendliest people you'd ever want to meet. And the drivers were courteous and gave out plenty of autographs and allowed fans to take pictures. I highly recommend getting either the bronze badge or the silver badge. And also, visit the grassy hills. You get up close and personal with the cars as they're whizzing by, running @234 mph w/ their heads hanging out the window!!!....and was able to see Jimmy Johnson slightly kiss the wall...best and blessed driver!!!

This was my first experience on a race track and could only imagine how lively it would look during a race. The museum was awesome too. Never did I think that racing went back that far in history. Good learning and insights into this sport.

Like they say, this is the racing capital of the world. This is such an amazing track, both the oval and the road course that Indy runs. There is even a golf course in it (will 9 holes inside the oval and 9 outside it). Can't put into words experiencing the Indy 500. Pictures and videos don't do justice. Add this one to your bucket list y'all.

What a fun experience! Definitely recommend the Kiss the Bricks tour! Buy tickets in advance! Give yourself a few hours to spend at the IMS! On the KtB tour, they take you on a 45 minute narrated tour around the 2.5 mile track and provide you with a wealth of history along the way! Once you arrive at the bricks (finish line), you’re allowed to exit the bus and take photographs, and even kiss the bricks like the tradition is for the winner of the Indy 500! The museum is awesome too! Many of the vehicles used to race are on display. There are interactive exhibits as well! At the end, there is a large gift shop with tons of items to purchase. We definitely recommend doing this tour if you’re ever anywhere near Indy or Speedway!

What's great about this speedway is there are restrooms everywhere! So nice not having to walk a mile to a restroom to wait in line for an hour. The facilities and stands were clean. I would recommend paying for parking ahead of time as parking sells out. Only negative note is that the track needs people directing traffic when the race is over. A race fan actually went out in the road and single handedly got cars moving.

We were here for a private event and did not actually get to see a race! The staff were amazing and had a wonderful time at this facility. Would love to come back on a race day. The location is perfect, about 15 minutes from downtown Indianapolis.

I went first time to see 2022 Indy 500pratice session it was fun for whole family. Seeing all f1 cars in high speed, sound of the cars and pit work stop is fun to experience.

Always a great time at the speedway! We were able to take our track team to the Indy 500 as a fundraiser. Everyone that we came in contact with was friendly and very helpful especially to a group of high school kids!

My youngest son who is in the Ohio National Guard brought me along on what would turn out to be one of the greatest experiences of my life. The Indy 500 is something you would have to see in person to truly appreciate. Indianapolis as a city has so much to offer. Love this place!

Always such a great experience. My only issue is after the race something has to be able to be done to drain all the emptying cooler water so it doesn't drop from the upper stands on to people in the lower stands! Regards so much fun and what great racing!!

I've been to the track for road course events before but 2023 was my first 500. Just an unbelievable experience with 300,000 of my newest friends. It's impossible to describe unless you've been there for the big race! Absolutely worth the wait and cost!

This race track is nice. Even has its own golf course on it. The atmosphere at the track is Great!! I highly recommend visiting this location. Traffic at this location is crazy on race day. I highly recommend leaving early to get in. Has a car museum there. The price of merchandise was high. Had a great time.

Went to see the Indianapolis 8 Hour race, got paddock passes, and had access to almost everything! Worth the money. The museum is very interesting with all of the winning cars from previous races. Bought a IMS hat, the material is surprisingly good. Overall had a blast!

Great place for anyone that is interested in the history of racing. I was there during the Vintage race at association time trials. Definitely a bucket list item checked off! And you have to see the museum while you are there!

Absolutely loved it!!! Parking wasn't as bad as you would think it would be, would give parking a 7/10. Seating was easy aswell 8/10. Drinks, food and all of thee above was expensive but that's expected, it is Indianapolis speed way. Overall experience, 10/10.
