We spent the day taking in everything. Walking into the War Museum my breath was taken away. The detail to everything was amazing. The layout is well done. Start with the tomb of the unknown. Absolutely astonishing and well done. The monuments for WWI, WWII, Korea and Vietnam are amazing. Each had the names of the lost inscribed so that they would not have died in vane. The monolith, again well done. I'll have to look online and see who is represented by the carvings. I know one to be Moses, the other three I can't quite place. I took hundreds of pictures. The only problem we had was some of the location description at the pedastals were not readable. That did not deter our awe of the Hall.

Came down for drum corps warm-ups prior to the Drum Corps International finals. Nice open park that hosts many different kinds of gatherings. Close to the downtown canal, Indiana State museum, The Eiteljorg museum, and IUPUI.

When in Indy, don’t miss visiting memorial park! There a beautiful water canal district that runs through about 5 blocks of the city! We loved riding the paddle boats up and down the canal and seeing all these historic sites on the way. Supe me family friendly!

A beautiful park with nice mature trees for shade. Great, convenient location downtown Indianapolis. Joe Denning and Laura Dowling are exceptional to work with when having an event in Military Park. Thank you!

This park is clean and scenic, with views and paths near the canal walk and White River. Recommend for events and a nice outdoor stroll.

I had a wonderful time at Military Park. I had never been there before. I went there on June 11th and it was packed. I had to wait in line which was no big deal since there were so many people there that day. I had walked about 3 tenths of a mile after finding ample parking. When I got in, there were people directing visitors where to buy tickets and that was easy. Once in it may have crowded but really wasn't bad unless you don't like crowds. Lots of information booths which was great to see. I enjoy "people watching' and boy did I get a lot of that! I talked to several people at business booths which was nice. I bought two really cool t-shirts, stickers! Everyone loves stickers! LOL I checked out the venders next. Seen there was a stage and nice music with lots of people sitting on the ground enjoying themselves. I was just very nice. Lots of food available but the lines to order and buy were way too long for me! I will definitely go back next year and my son recommended that I volunteer, which sounds like a wonderful idea.

I walked across the lawn at Military Park, sliding my sandals over the yard as my feet felt the warmth of each blade of grass. A Beautiful day to enjoy the Wine Festival!

Ancestors Say 'You Should Not Judge Folk' This Place is A Juke Joint Posing As A Jazz Club... Go Figure...Not Even A Stove Nor An Oven. Spots Like This Should Be Outlawed

Awful. The Island Mid Fest went on for two straight days and it literally vibrated my apartment walls, whatever group they got to perform was screaming so loud. They went multiple hours past when the event was supposed to end too.

I’ve been to military Park for several different occasions each time I’ve had plenty of space. they’ve had Porta potty‘s and lots of trees to protect you from the sun. There are also concrete pathways throughout the park.

Very nice park. There was a negative part tho..down by the walk way down to the the water, on the side of the festival there was a god awful smell like something was dead. Didn't know who to report it to.

Nice open space in the city for a picnic or walk about. Easy access to and from downtown, Lucas & conv center. Perfect place to watch groups warm up.

What an amazing place. The history of it alone would have brought me here. I was in town for DCI championships heard the corps were warming up here and headed over. Awesome park loaded with history, but I believe that’s Indianapolis as a whole. Can’t wait to come back.

Quick to get in. They were doing digital tickets on your cell phone and ticket booth. To exit it took a long walk away from where the exit signs were. Place was clean, bathrooms were not well marked but plenty of them were available.

The Indy Mini Marathon ended here. It's a wonderful park with room for the porta-potties and several food vendor booths. Very neatly kept.

Visit for Pride Festival, well organized, security staff etc. I would given it a **FIVE**, but one event there was a dunk tank (of which I love), However, with this INADEQUATE SETUP, it was DANGEROUS, during 2 diff time frames we sat on picnic tables with other people and many others all around for shade etc with their kids and babies, I counted 7 times the softball used for dunk tank sailed over their back drop (again inadequate and unsafe for this venue) striking me once on back of my neck and hitting another in the jaw, other times bounced between people. However last straw was when I was hit in the side omy head/eye, of which I have a black eye, the people running that event didnt care, very lackadaisical and blamed the participants, granted they could have controlled it/reconfigured the backdrop for better safety. They blew me off, I reported this to staff and showed them my eye, they went over and SHUT THEM DOWN. I do appreciate the working security staff for their understanding and concern. If this would have been a kid or a baby... could been been really bad and a law suit...the people/company that operated this event should NEVER be allowed again to get a permit, unless they have a pre-approved setup for safety.

Great park. Friendly people at pride festival over the weekend. Not sure why my community can't have fun without the shooting everyday. Smh!
