This is a beautiful park that is usually maintained pretty well. I walk to it from time to time and just sit and reflect.

Beautiful & Clean Park with lots of trails & open fields. Not overcrowded

Had so much fun sledding! I only wish it hadn't taken me 40+ years to find such a gem. 🙄

It's an ok park. I wish there was more area to walk and not have to worry about vehicle traffic. Makes me feel safer when I'm walking my small dogs to not have to watch for traffic, because people go through there too fast sometimes.

Love the new disc golf layout. Definitely needs better maps though. Only way my group even knows the holes (may not even be official) is we used to play here. Paths are definitely not marked. Although the trails are getting worn in

Brookside Park is a huge park that runs along both sides of Pogue's Run (A small creek) on the East side of downtown. It has a public pool, community center, softball fields, playgrounds, picnic shelters and a well used disc golf course.

nice park but that area isn't the safest although just about any place you go anymore isn't safe neither. I really hope this world gets better and the violence disappears. Share the Love‼️💃

Park is very MID definitely needs an uplift like fast. Bring more life to the playground and pool area.

Man this place used to be cool way way back in the day but i recently revisited my old stomping grounds and i just could not believe that area is in the condition its in, As a matter of fact the entire East side is one big pile of trash.

H one of my very favorite parks in the city currently under renovation so check the online web page before you plan on doing anything but we require facilities beautiful hilly setting Majestic Gothic buildings police and EMS routinely pass through...an east side FREE must see, hike, bike, or frisbee golf any of the daylight hours?

Nice peaceful beautiful park

A very nice park in the city. There are restrooms at the building on site. There are sometime Porto pottys. They have a disc golf course and two playgrounds. Lots of area to walk.

I really enjoyed coming to this park it's always quiet and it's always a well kept up clean Park. I enjoy feeding the squirrels they're so chunky and fat adorable.

It is not overly done but it provides a place for kids to play and enjoy sports. I go there to watch my niece play softball.

This is a fantastic park and we enjoy the Cyclocross event we attend there every year.

Great place to hang out with the kids or walk the dog without any chaos. The new pool area is phenomenal and I can't wait to hit it up next summer! 🏖️

I went there to vote. Everyone involved very nice and knowledgeable. Was in and out very quickly. Appreciate being able to go there and vote and all the people that were there.

Beautiful park. Lovely old trees. A nice pool during the summer and a wonderful old community building.

Did not go to brookside park but used to deliver in those neighborhoods and it's a beautiful park and old park an icon of Indianapolis. I never had any trouble but according to statistics is high crime. I never seen anything but I was in the area and just turned around.

The area of the park that is directly east of oaks academy is quite nice. I just wish people would stop using it for dumping trash

Not much to for adults. There should be way more for adults. I know blah blah kids but yes adults could use the same treatment. Also it's a very violent neighborhood.

What a nice park. It is huuuge with plenty of mature trees.

I play disc golf here. It's a 24 hole coarse for moderate players. Some more challenging than others.

Nice area for walking around. Clean and well kept.

This is one of the best parks in the city for playing tennis or pickle ball!

Fun, clean, and family oriented. Plenty of space for larger crowds.

It was nice they had basketball court and they had a little auditorium for the kids had little graduation it was real nice but I'm thinking they can expand that and make it much much better for the community

It’s a nice park and has various equipment for the kids to enjoy time there. Really decent size park with plenty of room for any occasion you might want to do in a nice park.

Great place to go in the innercity. Plenty on open space. Good paved walking paths, a Swimming Pool, Frisbee Golf course, Playgrounds. One of Indy's largest parks. A little slice of heavenly green in the middle of a concrete jungle.
