This park is amazing for family or friends to get together. There is a huge playground area for smaller kids. There are several trails with beautiful gardens. Some trails are pretty intense to go up and down. There is a river at the bottom of some trails where you can go swimming. The ruins monument is a must see! Highly recommend 💚 💯💯

Definitely among the best few parks in Indianapolis! * The Nature Center building has lots of exhibits aimed at kids, but is also enjoyable for adults. There are restrooms, drinking water fountains, plus classrooms and an auditorium that can be rented out to groups. * The Ruins look like age-neglected classical architecture and statues. There are also flower gardens, fountains, and restrooms. * There are excellent hiking trails winding through the woods. Due to being along the river, there is an unusual amount of up and down sloping for paths in central Indiana. * The playground is fairly unremarkable, but has slides, swings, climbing structures, and restrooms.

I proposed to my sweetheart of many years over the weekend at this amazing park. It was a last minute decision to include the proposal but the cascading trees and beautiful scenery made it the perfect location for an intimate picnic and I chose to make the most of this important opportunity. Grateful I got to it close to home in a great community and memorable local.

I ❤️ the woods and hiking and enjoying nature it's so very peaceful! And Holliday Park was very enjoyable! The staff that volunteer there are very nice and helpful! For my first time there the lady that greeted me took me in the nature center which was very nice and got me my Holliday Park map so I could find my way around the trails as well and took me to where the trails began. Thank you again! She was so sweet! Also liked the plenty of free parking and so safe and for the most part very clean! Thank God not all people are disrespectful and pigs with their garbage! ❤️ Loved! The architecture of the ruins n the beautiful gardens! Enjoyed my hike to White River and everywhere in-between took away a lot of anxiety. Holliday Park has a lot to offer adults and families it's worth making the trip to pick up your Holliday Park guide book just to see what they my have that interests you! They have so much that I kept my guide and certainly intended to return! I enjoyed myself that MUCH! And still didn't get to see or do it all! Thank you Holliday Park! ☺️

I only visited the Ruins, but these are a striking landmark within Holliday Park. There is much more to this preserved section of architecture than is apparent at first glance, and it is wonderfully framed by the perfect sidewalks leading to and from it. A fantastic photography spot and with beautiful trails to walk on.

Great place to get in a small hike and play in the water with the kids. Just remeber to take care of your stuff. As the old campers addage goes, "pack it in, pack it out". Keep this place clean and full of nature by taking your trash with you.

This place is awesome. Beautiful. Great playground with some of the most insane and quickest slides I’ve seen. Neat nature center. Amazing trail system. So fun!

This park is one of the best parks to go to. I bring my kids here to go hiking or to just play in the water and we always have a good time. There are multiple trails that you can do one of them is an easier trail while the other one is more advanced. There is also a park for the kids to play at and tons of birds to see.

This is a great park! They have a couple of playgrounds and plenty of trails, which are well marked. The nature center is nice and they have a few animals in there.

Lovely park with a scenic installation called "The Ruins" and easy to moderate hiking trails. Highly photogenic. It's also home to a lot of bird species.

Beautiful place! Ran across it by chance and so glad we stopped. The trails were fun and pretty and the kids loved the playground. The nature center was neat too, the kids really enjoyed the water feature and the dress up animal outfits. Wish we'd had time for the ruins. I definitely recommend stopping in.

Such a great place for children and adventure. We homeschool and like to come here to work on school. We love the beautiful garden area near the ruins and take the baby to splash around in the water area while my daughter works on school. The nature center is fun for both little kids and older children. There is so much to learn about the animals and plants native to the area and they have bees inside, which my children loves to see (May be seasonal or temporary). They have a nice room where you can go to read or work on schoolwork with setting areas and desks as well. After school work and play we like to hike around the trails and eat a picnic. We could honestly spend hours here and find something new all the time. Absolutely a hidden gem of Indianapolis. They also have a playground area that we haven’t played on yet.

What a magical park! This park was just beautiful. The trails are some of the best I have been on. You can play in the water, explore, even have a picnic. We will absolutely come back so we can see what else this picture perfect spot has to offer.

One of the most beautiful parks right in the middle of the city and a few minutes away from downtown. I love the ruins which adds such an aesthetic vibe to the park. Beautiful, well maintained, easy trails and lush greenery in spring and summery. A great place to relax and re-vibe.

Beautiful ruins, lots of trails to get lost on. Trails are not really well marked, and their map is rudimentary. Trails lead to white river, which is shallow and great to play in. There is a play area for kids, and a nature center I didn't check out.

One of my favorite dog-friendly parks in Indy. It has a playground area for the little ones, hiking trails, woodlands, and a riverside landscape. I'm looking forward to summer to see their flowers bloom.

Great little park to visit inside Indianapolis. A very nice nature center, large playground, historic ruins, plenty of short trails that run alongside White River and several other areas give most visitors plenty of options to enjoy their time here.

It's always a holiday at Holiday Park... come enjoy wonderful time, no matter what your reason. You can wonder down to the river, or play with the kids on the playground, this time there was an incredible multicultural Latina festival with delicious food, beautiful dancers, professional entertainers, and booths from more than 20 wonderful countries!

My favorite park in Indianapolis! It has a large playground with something for toddlers to the teens. The hiking trails are slightly challenging as they wind up and down the hills to White River. Enjoy the shelters and picnic tables, music during the summer, ice skating during the winter, the Ruins, and a Nature Center with a great view of birds enjoying the bird feeders.

This park is great on a regular basis, but the ice skating in the winter makes it even better! Not a lot of people, reasonably priced and a little food truck with snacks and hot chocolate. Perfect afternoon activity with the kids!

A fantastic park and a great music venue as well. Just visited to enjoy Ben Folds live and it did not disappoint.

A hidden gem in the middle of the hustle and bustle of Indy! Holliday Park has miles of trails, an amazing playground with equipment for all ages of kids, an ice skating rink in the winter and water play feature in the summer. It’s a great way to spend a day outdoors!

A friend took me to a lovely out side concert and venue, They had several local food trucks and venders. They had bathrooms set up And the concert was good . It has plenty of parking and a concert stand .I would highly recommend this park especially if they have some type of event, or concert. Tickets were $60.00 each so The price was good and the entertainment was family friendly . Something enjoyable for you to do with your family or date definitely recommend

It has a great playground from ages 2-10, very pleasant easy hiking path, some people even swim by the river, some European-like architecture with a garden and a fountain and great parking spots. Enjoy!

Great place for summer concerts (Rock the Ruins). Amazing trails. Playgrounds. Nature Center. One of my favorite places to go for a hike.

Beautiful place, with a lovely piece of history. There is a small nature center for children to explore. Along with groomed grounds for outdoor play with dogs and kids. The building, which only has parts remaining, came from New York. It has three men carved into the stone and they hold the building on their backs. Two statues of robed women stand on either side of the main building, while stone critters flank a fountain.

Wonderful place. Saw a "Rock the Ruins" concert with our disabled daughter (wheelchair user) and had no difficulty. Look forward to exploring more and future concerts

Great indoor nature exhibit!!! Outdoor Playground was really big and fun, but multiple slides boarded off. Trails were really well kept up. Definitely will visit again!

Beautiful trails that snake through the woods. It amazes me that this place is nestled right in the middle of the city. It sure doesn't feel that way, which I appreciate. Check out the information on the history of the family and the land itself, near the "ruins." It lends to a greater appreciation of it all.
