Worth a visit to the nature. Beautifully maintained. Though one can visit all year along as its temperature controlled, the Spring setup was amazing. Great place to bring kids.

Spring has sprung at Garfield Park Conservatory! Always love this place! Its beautiful to take a walk or sit and read a book. The entry fee is not bad at all and the staff is friendly. I come here several times a year it's my favorite place in Indy.

Came across this place on a little adventure exploring the park. Entry was $3 which for the experience was 100% worth it. The Conservatory is absolutely beautiful filled with so many plants and a wonderful atmosphere, I sat down in front of the Koi Pond and just watched the fish going around it was so peaceful. If you ever want to get back to nature, or just go on a little adventure, I'd highly recommend checking out the Conservatory and Park!

A friend told me about the bulb and flower show at the observatory. I just live right down the street so I decided to walk down there and take a look at the spring flowers. I paid $5 to get in the door, and as soon as I walked in, the smell of spring flowers delighted and excited me! The flowers were set up so beautifully and they were so healthy and beautifully colored!!! I am looking forward to planting the flowers this year! There were also plants and bulbs for sale at reasonable prices and the staff was very knowledgeable about what type of flowers they had planted and what they had to offer.... It really feels like the people at the observatory really want to be there and help their customers, and I would recommend any observatory activity to all of my friends!

Beautiful place to visit! I can't believe it took me 3 years of living in Indy as a plant lover to check it out. They've really done a great job of packing so much into a smaller conservatory.

Indiana winters can be cold & brutal, but Garfield Park was a wonderful escape! We walked in, took off our winter coats, and enjoyed a beautiful & festive Christmas display. The trains & village were so cool and the flowers, trees, etc were just wonderful!

Absolutely beautiful! Be sure to grab the Self-Guided Tour pamphlet at the admission counter. Species from around the world are in the temperature and humidity controlled conservatory. The Sunken Gardens boast seasonal flowers and many benches on which to sit and reflect. Blake's Garden is an adorable little children's garden presided over by resident chickens. The outdoor gardens are free, and admission to the Conservatory was $3 on the day I visited. Well worth the price of admission!

My favorite conservatory -chicago Garfield park conservatory-so far, it's free of charge, but reservation will be needed! They have tropical 🍹, desert 🏜️, fern, children and outdoor gardens. Plants are nicely arranged not like some small conservatoris who have to plant them so tight together. I love succulents ( follow up my YouTube channel: the way to succulents, if you are a succulent fans too). So it's a must stop at Chicago

This conservatory is an absolute gem. The $2 entry fee is very cheap, and any plant or flower lover could easily spend an hour in here. They have a wide variety of exotic plants, some 80 years old or more. They cycle through dozens of orchids as they flower, so there's always something a little different. Most plants are labeled clearly, and the self-guided tour pamphlet gives you a little more info on highlighted plants.

Absolutely beautiful, over 100 different species of plants that are very well maintained. Relaxing music playing in the background and koi fish with a water fall. I felt at peace after leaving that lingered for the entire day. Enjoy!

My late mother would have fell madly in love with this breathtaking conservatory! We were shortly transported into an ethereal greenhouse. One could instantly feel the stress melt away. The sunken garden made me feel like I took a trip to an English courtyard from a period piece as it was well manicured with a beautiful fountain squared and centered.

$3.00 to get in and it’s beautiful. I think it would be especially wonderful to go to in the winter when you need a small break from the cold. Perfect for just sort of meandering around.

This is a great little conservatory to view some lovely exotic trees and flowers. Next Friday is their Christmas opening - where all the trees will be all a glow. Price is $3.00 per person and lots of benches inside to sit and listen to the water features and watch the fish.

$3 admission. Annual membership is $30. Delightful! This conservatory was just the right size for a rainy afternoon. The collection was lovely: colorful and whimsical, very relaxing. And this is a FIRST: a soundtrack of perfectly fitting music playing along your walk. There is a landscape beyond the conservatory that you can explore on your own. There was a children's garden we didn't check out. For September, the fountains were shut down for maintenance/restoration. From the wedding parties taking photos on the grounds, I am sure they must be magnificent when in full season. Handicapped- accessible, it's all on one floor only. They have one bathroom in the conservatory. Yes, it is seriously only $3.

This place is gorgeous! The flowers in the conservatory and just the park itself. I saw so much wildlife and I had such a blast with my friend. There was a $3 charge for the conservatory but there was a sign for no attendant so we didn't have to pay. I will be back with my son.

It costs $3 to get in. If you're into plants this is a gorgeous place to visit. Really love that Garfield takes the time to maintain this for the community. I watched a man propose to his fiance while I was there. Great place for family pictures!

Returned for our visit 35 years since we got married here, it was beautiful then and is still beautiful now!

One of my favorite places to visit in Indy! I love to take a book, read and relax on one of the benches. Information about the plants can be found on a free self-tour pamphlet available on the front desk. Make sure to smell the flowers and check out the few animals that live there!

Absolutely beautiful conservatory to visit! It was so calming with all of the plants, flowers and water throughout the walk through. Def recommended if you have never been!

Beautiful little gem on Indy’s south side. Well worth the $3 admission price, and a nice place to spend some time admiring amazing specimens of nature. Great spot for a day date or to take the family. Guided or self-guided tours are available, but it’s also fun just to wander through the paths and take in the sights.

Cute, wonderful and beautiful!! Tons of amazing plants in a small little conservatory just south of downtown Indy. I have been coming here for year and absolutely love it more and more everytime. Highly recommend for anyone in the area! And admission is only $3

Beautiful greenhouse! Cost $3 to get in. Bathroom available. Many water features and sculptures throughout. Great variety of plants. The outside venue was under construction so it was underwhelming

Amazing oasis in Indianapolis, highly recommend visiting. Relatively small conservatory but has an amazing humid atmosphere, perfect for the middle of winter
