Great BBQ with a variety of sauce choices. I dont like a huge amount of meat. We ordered 1 sandwich with an extra bun. There still was enough meat, in my opinion for 2 more sandwiches. My son enjoyed the mac n chs. The fries could have been better. Got the end of the batch, apparently. They were not great. Hushpuppies were good. Will definitely go back though.

This is my kind of place. Concrete floors, Self bussing tables, Fill your own drinks, Carry your own tray and eat your own food. Triple chocolate cake nearly killed me... can't wait to do it again!

I hate to give this a one star rating, but we’ve been here several times over the last few years, and I feel it’s just not as good as it was in previous visits. Let’s start with price. My husband had the pulled pork sandwich with fries, coleslaw and a drink. I had the choose 2 meats, which you only got two meats and NO SIDES for a whopping $18!! I added macaroni and cheese and green beans and a side of 3 ribs( which was $10 for those ribs alone!!), plus a drink. Then there was peach cobbler for dessert. Our bill was almost $70!!!!! Absolutely outrageous…my jaw almost hit the floor. The menu needs revamped as far as combos go. There just isn’t enough to choose from that makes sense money wise. Now, as far as staff is concerned, everyone was friendly and nice! Now on to taste. My husband enjoyed his pulled pork sandwich, he wasn’t crazy about the fries, but he enjoyed the coleslaw! I had pulled pork, which was delicious, and the brisket, which I’ll say was completely fatty…don’t even waste your time with it. I understand a layer of fat, that’s common, but not a layer of fat and fat dispersed throughout the meat. It was like biting a piece of meat encased in jello…as soon as it went in my mouth, I had to spit it right out, yuck! Then the ribs were not all that great either…a big waste of $10!! The green beans we’re not having much flavor either, and the onions could stand to be left out. The macaroni and cheese was decent at least. The bbq sauce was not tasty either, and it seemed to have lumps of some sort in it, which was disgusting. The peach cobbler I had to wait 30 mins or longer for them to cook it. It wasn’t even that great either. My Valentine’s dinner with my husband was less than in many ways! Please make some changes City BBQ to better your brand!

I wanted BBQ. Never heard of this place as I live in Nebraska. I got the salad with brisket, and peach cobbler. The ambience was just like you’d want, not loud music or too dark to see your food. The amount of grub was plenteous, which beats most bbq places. The peach cobbler was to die for. I made the right choice. This place beat Famous Dave’s by a 100 years.

They didn't have ribs last night, so we ordered brisket sandwiches, and they hit the spot! The sandwiches had plenty of beef brisket! The first table we touched was so sticky, but the good thing is the other table next to it was clean!

My partner and I are here after shopping in greenwood. As soon as we entered we were greeted and offered samplers to try out! They gave us complimentary cake to try as first time customers! We WILL be back. We LOVED it. Great atmosphere, great employees, amazing food!

Order DoorDash and the food was fresh, hot, all of the checks completed! Really enjoyed the food. We have ordered here many times and it’s always been really good. If you need a quick barbecue stop then come here cause it was really really good.

Ordered carry out. Paid and waited 25 minutes only to find out our food was sitting on the counter the whole getting cold. Nobody called out or order. I hate to be the guy rushing the counter staff. I thought they would call your name when the food was ready. Food was cold when we got home. Not a good first impression.

Best brisket I’ve had in a long time. Best brisket I’ve had here. Seems like the selection of sauces decreased, though. Maybe I’m imagining it as it’s been a while since I’ve been here.

City BBQ is usually a pretty solid stop for us. They were a little busy which I can forgive as their food is usually worth the wait. The pulled pork was very tender as I've come to expect, but what hurt was the beef brisket. It was flavorful overall but it was still quite tough to the point I needed to use a knife to carve up the bites. Not what I'm used to with their brisket.

Easily 5 stars, hands down. Some of the best brisket I’ve had since Houston last summer. Very impressed! Pulled pork was delicious. Cole slaw was divine, creamy and tangy with just the right amount of crunch. And those fresh-cut fries? Incredible! Drank three glasses of sweet tea. It’s really hard to find good sweet tea up here but this was very very good. Overall a wonderful visit and I can’t wait to come back!

Had to wait for fresh turkey which was no big deal. The guy on the phone (Andrew I think) was super apologetic and gave me a free desert! When I got there everyone was super friendly and insisted I take a drink. In the rush of trying to make things right they forgot a sandwich, no big deal he called immediately and insisted I take a free meal. Customer service and food was amazing like always! Will definitely be back soon!

We had dinner at City Barbegue last Friday. I got pulled BBQ chicken with sides; Corn pudding & Potato salad. It was all delicious. My boyfriend had the pulled pork with sides; Baked beans & Potato salad. He said it was all great. We love the food here. Really good BBQ sauces as well.

The food is always fresh and hot. Their brisket melts in your mouth and needs no sauce. The dining area is always clean and the staff are always friendly.

Amazing food. Fast service. Great pricing. Very clean place. I also love that they benefited Love of Labs Rescue last night :) I also appreciated Dave coming to our table and talking with us, as well as bringing a sample of something new to try. We will definitely be back!

City BBQ of Greenwood recently catered our daughter’s wedding at Ash and Oak. Oh my gosh! The food was amazing! The staff were off the charts wonderful! Genius idea to have a bag of food for the bride and groom after the wedding. Everyone loved the food. Thank you for making their wedding even better by providing great food and service.

The food has always been good. The customer service used to be amazing. Not anymore. The customer service has went extremely down hill. There are still a couple great people there, but most the staff is rude now. Good luck getting curbside service. The tea is very inconsistent now on taste, color, sugar level. Looking at other locations.

Food was excellent. Smoked turkey was juicy and tender. As far as service, you basically serve yourself. They take your order cafeteria style then call your name. You seat yourself. You get your own silverware, sauce and drink. And you clean your own table (before and after)

The food was delicious it was my first time eating here. I got a pulled pork sandwich with Cole slaw on it. The Cole slaw was plain but good with a little pepper and salt. The most delicious part tho was the chocolate cake omggggggg it was so soft and chocolatey goodness definitely recommend. The hush puppies and fries and amazing. The mac and cheese is also very good. 😂 definitely recommending everyone.

Came here to support a fundraiser. Ordered online, husband went to pick up order. He complained about how unprofessional they were. No eye contact, completely ignored by employees. Lady walked in who may have been breaking at thr time. Ignored him too until he said I'm picking up a order, as we have never done pick up before. She didn't greet him at all. Just said "name?" And then shoved our order forward. Then walked away. No thank you, Have a good evening, nothing... Got home hush puppies burnt to a crisp. It was my 6 year old who didn't understand why he didn't get hush puppies. Do better city bbq. Geez..

Amazing experience, as always. Angela took my order. She was warm and friendly. She made recommendations to accommodate my picky taste. The manager, Chris, is exceptional. He’s always engaging and that smile, is unforgettable. Finally, my Cowbell sandwich exceeded my expectations.

Absolutely delicious!!! We ordered the judges meal which fed myself and my husband with plenty left over to take home. Chicken was my favorite but the pulled pork and brisket were soooo good. My husband loved the ribs as well. All of that meat, 2 sides and 2 pieces of cornbread for $35!!! What a deal!!! Def recommend if you are wanting some amazing smoked BBQ at a good price. The only minor issue was the triple chocolate cake. Looks so delicous and everyone we seen coming in and out was buying a piece, so of course we had to try it being our first time there. It was good, but dry. Slightly disappointing. Will def be coming back tho!! 😋😋

The food was fantastic. There were 3 of us so we were advised to order the sampler. It had ribs, 1/4 chicken, pulled pork, and brisket. We upgraded 2 of the sides and ordered an extra side and it was just over $40 dollars. It also came with texas toast and cornbread. The service was phenomenal. The restaurant was clean. Best BBQ I've had in Indiana. I'll go back for sure.

Delicious sauces, no wait, yummy food, great kids menu, awesome selection of sides, reasonable prices and best of all, despite being busy, staff was super nice, accommodating and very friendly. One staff member went above and beyond with her kindness with my kids and they felt special and grown-up. We can't wait to come back. Seriously, those hush puppies!! ❤️❤️❤️

The food is exceptionally good. The employees are kind and helpful. I had the Pick 2 plate. My 2 selections were pulled pork and sausage. My side items were creamy coleslaw and baked beans. The desserts looked good too, but I had to limit my sugar intake. The baked beans were a little too sweet but incredibly good. Prices are somewhere in the middle. I would give the prices a rating of two dollar signs ($$).

It never fails they constantly are always messing up my order. This is the third order that they messed up. I ordered two of the leg and thigh meals and they didn't include my texas toast in neither of the meals. They didn't even have this order in a city barbecue bag. This is one of the reasons why I rarely ever go here. I just wanted to use my birthday coupon that I had and of course they got my order wrong again.

Always great food. The ribs and brisket were meaty and delicious, with or without sauce your taste buds are in for a treat.
