Since I was a kid in the '80s this was the place. We had birthday dinners here, date nights, dinner before a game...It was the best Mexican food I had tasted anywhere. Then someone bought it in the last year or so. As a local TV reporter interviewed the new owner he said the menu would remain the same. It didn't. The classic and much-loved menu is gone. It has been replaced with the same quality of Mexican food you can find in any strip mall in any town. As long as it stays what it is now I will not go back.

A friend and I went here for lunch today. I had the lunch special with 3 tacos. It was by far the least satisfying tacos i have ever had. The meat tasted "sweet". I tried putting salsa on the tacos to balance it out, but the overwhelming sweetness was just too much. I will say that the place was not busy at all for a 1 pm lunch hour. We were seated immediately and had our food within minutes of ordering. Our server was very nice. But I will not be visiting this place ever again. The only reason for 2 stars was the fast service and nice server. My taste buds are different than others who may enjoy the food.

Not a fan and would not go back. Had the Crisp Mexican Beef Tacos and it was like they bought a taco kit from the grocery store and charged $10 for three tacos. The meat was more of a paste then crumbly ground beef. Rice tasted like it was premade or came out of a box. Such a disappointment for a restaurant that claims to serve authentic Mexican Food.

Coming from Texas and some of the best “Tex-Mex” Mexican Food, this was a little different. They say you can tell his good the meal is going to be by testing the salsa. The salsa was good, different from what i’m used to, more garlic and tomato and less cilantro and heat. The meat in the dish had more of a chili powder taste than southern dishes. Unusual to have to choose between rice or beans and not have both. Overall a good place to try out.

The aromatic authentic flavor and smell from this merchant will keep you mouth watery. Nice out door seating spaces, keen streets view. Charming interior artistic design. Friendly staff and great service. It is also called El Toro. Good food served here. Both Mexicans and American favorites Breakfast.

The food was overpriced and really really bad. It was 12$ for a chimichanga and some dry rice.

Chicken Fiesta was fine, but by no means delicious. Not a big fan of the sweet salsa, & definitely didn't know what to do with the watery pepper sauce. Called in order for takeout, the guy who answered the phone could use some customer service training, as well as the hostess. However, the lady who brought the food out was a gem-excellent guest service.

Lesson learned! Do not order french toast at a Mexican restaurant. They do use real butter so thats a plus. Next time I will try burritos or tacos.

This was a place I would meet my Dad for lunch. Went back recently and had an early dinner there. The Salsa had changed and wasn’t as good as I remembered. The restaurant inside is the same as 15 years ago, but the food wasn’t as good as remembered.......
