Always a pleasant experience at 'The Journey'. The wife and I really enjoy this place from the variety of food, to the freshness and quality of it. Meats-pastas-sushi-vegetables-seafood-fruits-desserts, so much more and even a chocolate fountain! Staff is always tentative and friendly and the place is nice and clean. Great food good times.

Delicious! Fancy-ish vibe and friendly staff. I saw one waitress watch a kid in a high chair while the parents went up to the buffet. The same waitress caught a drink from spilling. They have big circle booths great for groups of 4-6. Food is good, pretty oily/greasy but that's kind of to be expected for a Chinese buffet. Good sushi and great selection overall. They have a chocolate fountain, crepes, and a salad bar. I'm not a fan of the little pastries these places have, but the ones here are the yummiest I've ever tried. Ice cream is pre-scooped in an easy-to-overlook freezer and only one flavor, chocolate. They did have a sign saying they raised their prices because of the price of snow crab, which they aren't serving anymore. I don't really get that logic. It was $14/person for the weekend lunch buffet.

If I can give no stars I absolutely would. I went and I’d never been before the food actually made me sick I went into the bathroom and threw it all up I got the manager and she refused to take my buffet and my mother‘s buffet off of the bill because we we did not eat the food. I quote the manager said you should be able to tell if you like the food by looking at it. How are you supposed to tell if you like food by looking at it? My kids eat the food and I would willingly pay for their stuff however I absolutely detested the food. Don’t go here if you can’t visually taste food. Not to mention they just opened when I went at 5 o’clock and the food was already cold. The manager continued to argue with me that the food was not cold at the table in front of everyone.

On a Sunday afternoon after leaving church services I decided to go get a bite to eat. Upon being seated as a single person in a very busy restaurant, before I even sat down, the waitress looked at me standing right in front of me, and exclaimed just one person!! I said yes I’m dining alone by choice. I politely said are you disappointed, I assure you I am easy to please, I told her I don’t eat much, I am polite, and I tip very very well. She took my drink order, Hot tea and ice water and trudged away. I had my customary small meal drank nearly the entire pot of green tea and ask for my check. She brought back my check and started turning on her heel to walk away and I stopped her to speak to her. I let her know that in this world even though I am one person sitting alone enjoying a meal it is by choice. I told her what if my husband passed away, what if I had no children or friends to accompany me? I should be given the same respect as anybody else whether I’m sitting alone as a single person, or if I bring six people with me walking in to her area. I know this was rather lengthy but hopefully if you read it and you’re a single person choosing to sit alone enjoying a lovely meal or you are alone because you have lost a loved one and you have no companion you will gently remind your server that kindness goes along way whether you’re one person or six people and she’s reliant on that tip. I tipped her very well but I will not be back. By choice.

Food was plentiful, and great. Missed the crab legs, due to shortage, and price of meal was automatically adjusted, which was nice. Waiter was very prompt, and attentive. Definitely will return.

Food was pretty decent. They didn't have any crab legs when we went but seemed to have discounted the prices to accommodate. The staff was pretty quick to clear the table.

Went with two friends who highly recommend The Journey. (Though they hadn't been in roughly 18 months.) I sampled about 12 items. Two items were okay...typical decent Chinese buffet okay. The coconut shrimp and fried wings were outstanding. Unfortunately the rest of what I tried was horrible and the chicken on a stick tasted undercooked. I actually spit out the one bite that I tried. My friends were equally unimpressed with the food. Our waitress, Amy, had only been there a week. We liked her.

Mother's Day and busy however those hosting had no idea to properly seat customers 3 parties came in after is and were seated. We had two people in our party and had already waited 35 minutes. I finally said something and was seated with mother. The food was fresh but still didnt like the idea of them serving our food as we waited longer to be waited on.

Having to leave a tip is worth it to me. Dinner is okay, the crab legs are usually tiny and not worth a visit to me. But the lunch is well worth it.

Went in on Memorial Day with my children and the owner asked the ages of my kids. I told her 11, 9 and 5. She stopped me and pointed at my 11 year old and said 11? And I replied YES and she told her to answer the year she was born while pointing a pen in her face and my daughter was very uncomfortable. I became stern with her and told her she is 11 year old and that’s that. She instantly became intimidated and laughed like she was joking as if I was trying to con her out of a measly 2 dollar difference in price. The food was terrible, we have been plenty of times before and it has always been alright with no complaints. This time however was different. Not okay was the food tasting old and like left over spoiled chicken. The lo mein was hard and everything looked old and spoiled. The pasta was watery, almost everything had a weird taste. My sons favorite thing is the dumplings and that is mostly what he ate, only for him to find a bug fried into his dumpling. The same woman who accused me of lying about my daughters age all of a sudden was beyond apologetic and mortified as she knew this bug had been cooked into the dumpling. We will never return obviously but this place between the health hazards, over priced food equivalent to trash and customer service… needs shut down.

First time here… it was ok. Food wasn’t very hot. Staff was great and attentive. Wide array of food choices. Other people look like they really enjoyed it. It just ok to my fiancé also and he loves just about everything with food.

I've loved the journey since it opened and eat there every chance I get. We go for lunch or dinner (great options at both). The Sushi selection and the fried shrimp in sweetened coconut sauce is always amazing!! During dinner hours the prime rib is always cooked to perfection and tender. The udon soup is made to order and is a large portion (another favorite). There is a large well stocked salad/fresh fruit bar. My kids LOVE the giant chocolate fountain. The waiter/waitress are very attentive and always on top of clearing plates/bringing drinks. I missed the opportunity to take pictures because I was too busy enjoying the meal... :-)

The food is excellent. I think it is priced well for what they serve and the variety of options on the buffet. The coconut shrimp is excellent. The fruit and seafood are fresh. I will say that things go quick. Their are a variety of cook stations offering different things. It was very unimpressed with the "prime rib" it was unseasoned and tasteless. The clam chowder is some of the best I've had, You can tell it's not straight from a can. I recommend this place but I also recommend coming early

Great prime rib station for dinner. Sashimi and sushi always running out, they don't bring a lot out and the refill is super slow. Same with steamed fish.

All you can eat. Servers ok, but could be more efficient since drinks and clearing plates is the only customer service that they provide. Food is pretty good for a buffet. Most as well prepared and fresh. Sushi is excellent. Prime rib was top-notch this visit. Not so good last time we were there. Good value on Sunday. Mediocre value on Saturdays. Worth a shot if you haven't been there

Outstanding place, clean and plenty to choose from. Outstanding options. They do close from 3-5pm. 20.99 an adult. To add a soda to drink is around 3.00. Two drinks two buffets 48.00. We will return

Best Chinese open buffet. Several dishes and all are tasty. Delicious and plenty of food available

For $22 it is a steal. Worth the money in an economy that is robbing us blind. The best part of the buffet is the prime rib. It has the typical seafood of a buffet not the greatest in the world but not bad. I wasn't able to try the crawfish and salt and pepper shrimp but people were eating them by the truck load. Most of the food I tried was very bland. The coconut shrimp wasn't bad and the cold peel and eat shrimp were good but slightly over cooked. Staff was friendly enough. The restaurant is in desperate need of a remodel. If your on a budget and want a lot of food to eat you would be hard pressed to find a better deal. Constant rotation of food so most everything was fresh.

We visited The Journey and it was not bad as far as buffets go (selection wise). My friend loves sushi and picked this place as it is all-you-can-eat. We were seated immediately although it was crowded, and people were extremely rude and cutting in lines at the food stations. Nothing I had was noteworthy. The ice cream machine was out of order. Sorry no pictures, but I personally wasn't impressed. Our server was very sweet and helpful.

I haven't been to The Journey in a few years, but it is as good as I remember! The coconut shrimp was so good! That is worth the trip alone! Also, the stuffed mushrooms are really tasty! They have a huge selection of foods, and there is something for everyone here. Their dessert options are a little limited, but I did see they had crepes, which I think is pretty cool. Service was fast and efficient. It wasn't too crowded on a weekday when they first opened either. Lunch price for weekdays is 13.99 each, which I think is a great price considering all the options! Definitely recommend this buffet! 👌

Memorial Day weekend on a Sunday they were super busy parking lot was full - good sign food must be good! Was blown away by the amount of selection! Large bars lots of variations from seafood to steak and ribs to made to order crepes! Even tho they were super busy everything stayed stocked and fairly clean! Waitress was very attentive without us even being aware of her, our drinks stayed full and plates cleared without being bothered. Price was great for what we got - two people ate to the busting point for less than $40! Can’t beat that! Everything I tried was pretty good. Have I had better food …probably. Have I had worse? Most definitely! Over all as far as buffets go this Is one of the better I’ve been to.
