I ordered dinner at 5:30pm. Limited menu and out of bread. How do you call yourself Panera Bread if you don’t have bread. Poorly managed and staff is rude. I don’t blame the staff because I only witnessed two people in the store. Probably overworked and under staffed. The bowl of soup that cost over 6$ was a teaspoon. Also when I ordered, they kept asking me if I wanted to order a drink. I don’t understand why since the drink machine did not work.

I wanted to love this Panera as much as I love all other Paneras...but this was just a sad experience. The line was incredibly long so I wanted to use the kiosk. Nope, the kiosks were down. Okay, so I did the "Order to Table" option on the app. Waited 25-30 minutes, still no food. Our friends that arrived 10 minutes after us and waited in line had already received their food. I went up to the counter to ask what was taking so long, and they asked what I ordered, as my name wasn't on the screen. Magically, the guy said my name was now the "next" order. Okay, great. Wait 5 more minutes and they bring the food to our table. I ordered a baguette as a side. Nope, they gave me an apple. They gave me this TINY salad - this is a half salad bowl and it's not even HALF full! Seriously? Not even remotely worth the $5 a half salad costs. It was gone in about 4 bites. I also asked for no cucumber, pickled onions, extra arugula - tons of cucumbers, no pickled onions, barely any arugula (or anything else, for that matter). Nothing was completed the way I ordered. We had now been there for almost 45 minutes and had a meeting to get back for, so I had no time to ask for them to remake it. After how long our food took in the first place, I couldn't risk it. The only reason I gave this location 2 stars instead of 1 is because the French onion soup was great. That, at least, lived up to my expectations.

Love me a broccoli cheese bread bowl! Stopped in before heading to the airport to eat lunch and get some work done. It is inside a building so less busy that other paneras I've been to on the past. Was a nice place to work for a few hours, and coffee refills didn't hurt!

I visit Panera on a regular basis in my hometown. I was visiting Indy for a conference on May 6 th and figured I would go to the Panera on Washington street since I knew I liked the company. Wrong. I should have never set foot in that place. First day I ordered it was wrong and I figured that the staff just messed up and blew it off. The second day was worse. There is nobody at the front to take your order. You can only order from the kiosk. There are no drinks or pagers near the kiosk or in any area outside of the registers. When the screen asked for a pager I asked an employee up front for one. She acted like I was asking for a foreign object so I asked for a manager. She brought me another employee who was clearly not the manager and then she stormed out of the store screaming obscenities at me. The manager finally came to the front and acted like I was being ridiculous asking for a pager. She said that location doesn't use pagers even though there was a large stack of pagers directly to her right. I was shocked and disappointed since I have never received service like that at a Panera in the past.

I’m accompanying my husband on his business trip, we agreed to meet at Panera for lunch location 110 West Washington St I bought a lemonade to wait for him then I asked for the password for the bathroom after I paid for my drink and cashier Charlie says the bathroom is only for dine in customers I explained to her I was waiting for my husband and that we both were going to dine in and she still refused to give me the code so I asked for a refund ( I had not taken my cup from the cashier’s counter yet) she went to get the manager who without asking why I needed a refund gave me my money back no attempt whatsoever to see if she could remedy the situation she had an unhappy face when she realized I had left a tip and she had to open the register again to give me the dollar back. This is a first for me in all my years as a Panera customer 🥲🥲🥲

They run out of all ingredients at 6pm on a Friday night… Showed up today after parking a block and a half away with accessibility-needs relatives. A woman closed the gate as we were three feet from walking in. She said they were closing an hour early because they ran out of ingredients. I asked if there were any items that could still be ordered since I saw three separate tables inside with customers eating. I also explained that we specifically chose this place for its supposed accessibility and casual-fast atmosphere. She answered that they “ran out of ALL ingredients.” As I was turning to leave, a group of 7 people arrived and she turned them down as well. Do yourself a favor and if you’re going to pay for parking, go somewhere where businesses respect their hours and clients. If indeed they “ran out of ALL ingredients,” perhaps corporate should hire management that is knowledgeable in food ordering and customer demand.

Went in an ordered a soup to go - pay at the register, when I asked for the bathroom, I was told the bathroom is for Eat in Customers only - not to go - orders. I am not some derelict homeless person. I am a cash paying customer. Had I not already paid I would of walked out. But here is a guarantee for Panera. I will not set foot in any of your establishments again.

Waited for over 10 minutes for them to tell me there are no cashiers and I can only order online. No sign saying online order only, no type of communication either. Pretty inconvenient for a cash paying customer who is on a lunch break during the Gen Con convention. Can’t rate the food because I couldn’t get anything.

Visited late on a Saturday morning. Kiosk-only ordering (but one was broken, so had to wait) Food was on-par with other Panera locations - just nothing setting it apart. Place was clean (at least they were trying to keep it that way), but even though there weren't many eating-in, it's a crowded space (not like a stand-alone suburban Panera location). It did take awhile to get our food (a couple of sandwiches and oatmeal). After eating a breakfast sandwich here, I prefer McDonald's or Burger King (at least those are freshly made - this one seemed like it came out of a microwave oven).

this is a “roasted turkey avocado BLT”…would be nice if it had avocado or bacon in it.

Had carry out order today. They skipped the chicken sandwich all together. The salad came with no fork. Not a big order, and they even had a check list.

Very spacious store with a great ambiance. You need a passcode to use the restroom.

pretty terrible, they were out of a bunch of stuff, including sourdough bread, most bagels, and baguettes. The drink area was a mess. If I could find/taste the chicken salad among the bread I could tell you if it was good or not.

The staff here is AMAZING. CHARLIE at the register is ONE OF THE MOST GENUINELY KIND HEARTED PEOPLE!!!! SO RARE TO SEE THAT IN THIS WORLD!!!! The staff has been kind to all walks of life that come in. With it being downtown it can get a little difficult to navigate as I have seen. They have been extremely graceful in navigating this & I'm truly impressed with the kind-heartedness they show to everyone. RAISES FOR EVERYONE!!!! They should really be recognized by Panera for this. It's not an easy spot to be in at all.

99% of my experiences have been great. In large part due to Zoe and Katina. They are always helpful and receptive. Most of the other employees have been helpful as well. I did have a slight issue with the GM and the restroom when I placed a call rapidd order and dined in. But the issue was resolved with further conversation. 5 stars would recommend.

I came in this morning to pick up a catering order. I had put in the wrong date, so it wasn't ready. Jessi immediately helped me put together a new order and cancel the old one. She got my coffee and food together so quickly! She really did an amazing job!

Be aware, do not order delivery from Indianapolis branch. My order was missing some items and I tried to complain about it three times (calling the branch shift, branch manager, Panera customer services). Two of them told me I will issue a refund and I got nothing, and one just hang up on me !!!!!! A small unknown restaurant wouldn’t do this. I no longer trust them.

I placed a $60 order through doordash and when my food came I knew it wasn't righ. All the sandwiches I ordered weren't in the bag! I imedetly called the store only for them to hang up on me! I tried calling back and they didn't answer. This I unbelievable for a well known or any known place to act this way! I will be calling corporate in themorning.

I go here everyday as of late they never have Bagels ready in the morning. And if they do have Bagels ready they don't have them on the tablet system to order it always says sold out of everything. This morning I was in there and the lady was taking so long at the register to take my order I bounced over to the tablet just to find that the bagels that I'm looking at say they're sold out and now there's eight people in line at the register so I can't even get my bagel that I wanted. The lady that was running it before I do believe is why it ran so much better. Whatever changed the place is so much worse lately. I do not recommend

The posted hours are currently 7pm close but employees start preclosing at least 30min prior. So if you want something other than soup, plan to arrive maybe an hour before close to be safe.

It was OK. Out of coffee. Food got cold will waiting for coffee. But it's like anywhere. Over worked and understaffed. The manager did offer to make it right. Kudos to the manager. She was prompt and onto of if.

Perfect sandwiches, soups, charged lemonade, and everything else you like as a quick bite. With their small fee membership, you can enjoy unlimited coffee and drinks whole month anytime anywhere you wish. They give many free goodies as well every 3rd or 4th order. Overall a nice place to be again n again.

As a Sip Club member who works nearby, I go to this location nearly every morning for a coffee refill and I must say that it leaves a lot to be desired.* I used to order my 'free' coffee online to avoid waiting in the store and when I would go to pick it up, there was no cup left on the pickup shelf despite having received a text and email stating that my order was ready. This usually would result in me standing in line behind several customers simply to ask for a cup that I could fill myself. I have since stopped ordering online and just assumed that I will be waiting to get my cup, which I am also frequently unable to fill because they are usually out of multiple types of coffee. I wish that this location had a more attentive staff that cared about the details and did not appear uninterested in providing a service to customers. It would go a long way if they would consider placing a single cup on the pickup shelf when an order is placed online (how long can that take, even if you are busy) and ensured that the coffee carafes were full. I am tired of standing in this line and listening to the workers complain about how many catering orders they have to fill, only to completely neglect the people standing at your register. *The only reason that I frequent this location despite its downfalls is because the price is hard to beat and there are no comparable alternatives in the area.

This place smells wonderful because of all the breads and pastries. Their Agave lemonade is my favorite and that's the reason that I joined the unlimited sips club. They also have a great tasting decaf coffee.

I was sent a text saying my order was ready for dine in. I walk up and someone laughs and said just a minute. I go back to my seat and the guy that is supposed to be fixing my food is talking about movies to the staff. I go back up to the counter and no one is there for a few minutes. Finally someone responsible comes and asks me what I need. They are obviously saying orders are ready early to trick the Panera system. Another employee was sleeping with their head on the table. Really sad what has happened to downtown lately.

Not sure why this place is a 3.9. Some of the nicest staff I've had the pleasure of dealing with in any panera I've been in. Kay helped us today and was all smiles! Items purchased were fresh and done correctly! 5 stars from me and my kiddos!
