River road park is one of the best parks around with amazing views of the river year round and a great trail system that goes around the park and right down by the river. Really good place in the summer to launch kayaks from and then end at the kayak landing at hazel landing park.

A very large park with some fields for sports. You can get great pics of the sunset here. You can also unload boats here and float down the river. Quiet and safe. Public restrooms.

This is a great little park. There are trails, a little playground, a sandbox, plus a large green space. There's also this little building with a museum like exhibit of early life in Indiana and some artifacts. Random but a neat little surprise. There are also (pretty gross) restrooms by the parking lot. That said, if you have younger kids (1-2 years old) this is not the best park. The slides and steps are all stone and every point off the top is a bit of a drop off. Not ideal for toddlers.

Great place to walk and be near nature. Paved trails surround ball fields. Head past some trees to gravel paths through meadows with wild flowers, gliding swings, fitness stops, and a small playground area made to look natural not bright and plastic. Another turn into the trees takes you to more rugged paths and down to the white river. Walk along the river and you’ll find this swing over the water.

Beautiful park in a great location. Nice, paved walking trails, plus a drive up drop off/pick up area for the lake. Very pretty wild flowers, bridge, and places to sit on the trail.

Loved the ability to immerse yourself in nature at this park. The playground is aging but overall a beautiful place to relax and walk. Our boys loved using fallen pine branches to "search for dinosaur bones"

Great park! Slides are made of concrete, but are super smooth. Just be warned if your kiddos (or you!) have thinner shorts/pants on.

Nice park for walking, although be careful, the walls inside the playground are made of concrete, which makes it’s easy for chalk to write on it, so people may end up drawing something you don’t want to see.

Best place I've found for a quick 35-45min walk with the dog, simple loop with both a paved and gravel segment. The gravel path being surrounded by tall grasses and plenty of wildlife.

Decent trails and an okay playground. Lots of space for sports. Paved paths for biking and running along with multi use trails along the river.

This is a neat park I really like the history part of it on Indians and the exhibit with live sound with a story line. Big trails to walk or bike and a nice activity play ground for the kids.

One of the best places to enjoy a relaxing walk in the green. The river adds a touch of charm and tranquility to the park, which is filled with green grass and trees. You can also spot various birds in the park, making it a great destination for bird watchers.

Great park, always clean. Wide open areas and a unique playground set up to the north. Baseball/softball fields to the east and soccer fields to the south. Two parking lots are small but usually space in one of the two.
