The park is designed for mountain bikes and is well maintained. I'm a runner and come here because it is the only natural surface trails in or near Carmel. The winding of the trails are annoying at times though I'm sure it's fun for mountain bikers. Thus for runners it's not the most fun. The portion of the park south of I-465 is a beautiful restored prairie. North of I-465 is riparian habitat and full of invasive honeysuckle though in fall a lot of the nettle flowers and captures a certain charm.

These trails are so much fun! I made a seven+ mile run on a fixed-gear bicycle with a coaster break; that required a little patience during the narrow and windy areas, extra leg power on the hills, and a cautious attention on fast turns. I can see the advantages of a trail ready bike for this terrain.

Mainly for mountain bikes, but a one way trail that as long as we have not had a lot of rain recently is a nice hike within city limited

Anything by the White River is great, but this place is a true gem. I only got to walk a bit of it, but I am bringing my bike to explore some more for sure next time.

A great trail run for runners! Offers some light hills and easy meadow trails. Be aware of bikers coming behind and be sure to follow the trail direction for your specific day! Overall great scenery and exposure to the local river. Great option for a long or short trail run. Seems like an easy option for mountain bikers!

Excellent dirt trail prime for biking and suitable for the alert walker/runner. With glimpses of the white river and a winding path this gem of a park is situated between 465, a housing addition and a sort of commercial district. Don’t forget to ride under 465 and hit the south loop for an extended trip. You might as well stop at Oliver Woods Preserve while you are there. Enjoy plenty of parking and an area suitable for a semi-sketchy kayak launch (this could be revamped a bit) or take out. This park is perfect for a lowkey Sunday stroll. Enjoy!

Nice trial, there are 2-3 good sized jumps/drops Wish there were more of them, but still a nice scenic trail overall

Nice area for biking but not much else. There is not really any good way to fish here.

I walked this bike trail. It was alot of fun and enjoyed seeing all the decorations that have been added to the trail. If you wish to run or walk it make sure you get out of the way of the mountain bikers. It's almost a 7 mile loop.

Really nice trail, especially being in such an urban area. Hard packed from heavy use. Nice place for a quick trail ride

An easy to miss entrance leads to a mountain biking trail that is close to the city and offers a fun ride with jumps and technical obstacles. It does take a while to dry out after a heavy rain, so make sure to check out if the trail is open first.

Love this gem in the middle of the city. Hard enough on the bike at pace to keep interest and enough alternate routes to bring my kids and teach them mountain biking safely.

Best place in the area to burn off some steam after a work day or just have an easy trail ride. Great maintenance by the admins.

Great mountain biking trail! Only 25 mins from downtown. It's a green line, but has some drops, wooden tabletops, and roots. Overall pretty fun!

Great bike park. Also been for really good runs there, moved over quickly when bikers came (only room for one on the trail) and bikers were always polite and appreciative.

Don't walk here. I dropped a phone here and a biker returned it to me lucky day. If you're not a pro you won't make it to the end at this park. This trail will destroy you

I really enjoyed the park, especially its ample biking πŸš΄β€β™€οΈ trails, not much of walking 🚢 friendly. However, visitors should be cautious as I spotted a couple of snakes 🐍 during my visit. Just a friendly heads-up for fellow nature enthusiasts!

Beautiful well maintained trail. Tons of shade and well marked. There were portapoties at the trail head. I'll definitely be back!

I've always loved trail run, been going here for years. I would say it's on the beginner to intermediate side. Of course it always matters how fast you go, and this trail will test you. I have a hip replacement, and take my time other than knowing the spots I will need to ramp up my speed to make it over tall obstacles. More experienced riders will expect you to move over if you are taking your time. Depending on the time of the year, it is a great nature ride next to White River.

I've been going here for years and it's still fun every lap. Really great flowing singletrack. Don't ride when wet ;)
