Really nice, quiet, secluded place for you and the kids. Even has an area for your pets to play and run.

Native grasses and wedges abound. We're looking forward to making this park and its trails into our regular park routine.

It's a beautiful park with hidden trails and plenty of acres. However, I've encountered 3 unleashed dogs in the past week. They have a separate dog park here and if you want your dog unleashed, do so in the dog park. But in the open field and the wooded trails, it should be common sense (and the law) to have your dog leashed. Otherwise, when your unleashed dog approaches my leashed dog from behind and startles him, I'm not responsible for any injuries that may occur to your dog that has a negligent owner 🙃

We go to Ruster Park mainly for the dog park. The park itself is off the beaten path and seems like it has light use. But that also means the dog park isn't over used and has never had more than 5 or 6 other dogs there when we've been there. There are 2 well fenced in areas for your dogs so smaller dogs can be kept separate from larger ones if you feel the need. Both fields are well kept and supplied with water, poop bags and recepticals to put them.

Nice little city park to get some hiking and woods therapy in. It's a bit creepy though. And they could really use some graffiti cover-up, considering the slurs that were painted in one gazebo. The trails are nice, but we had some creeper following us on our hike (no matter which way we went, he followed), who later stared at us from the woods as we were in the parking lot preparing to leave.

I've been coming here since I was a kid. I took my kids and now my grandkids. Great hiking trails. Love to walk my dog and play in creek. My husband often drops a line in the pond. He caught and released a beautiful large mouth bass a couple of weeks ago.

This park is the hidden gem of parks. It has hiking trails, fields to lay or roll around in. A jungle gym and kids play area conviniently located towards the entrance. There is a field that you can push a stroller through easily so even the very little ones can join in the experience. Situated not far from downtown Indianapolis or Greenfield and just south of Old Town Cumberland. Check it out. Leave me a comment about what you think of it .

We rented a shelter here for the day. It has a nice playground and well maintained grassy areas for all kinds of activities. Bonus: there’s a huge dog park!

Been going to this park most of my adult life with kids, students, grandkids. Love the big hill they can climb and the playground is nice and shaded.

Nice park, granted I'm an adult who was hanging out with adults. Only criticism is people need to clean up after themselves better.

You do have to have a pass to go. You can purchase the passes at the park center on S. Post Rd. We were helped by Maurice, who was kind and competent. We bought a day pass and took our dogs. It didn't look terribly interesting to the humans in the car, but the dogs saw things differently. They were in heaven! They ran, sniffed, played with other dogs, and ran after the tennis balls someone had left. My husky was so tired she slept all afternoon! It was great!

Go there for the bark park. The size of it is great. No running water, but patrons try to keep water in two 5 gal water jugs. No bathroom, but a porta-potty that is always in need of service. Limited shade.

One of THE best parks I have ever been too! Great for the whole family! The only thing I don't like is the fact that your dog needs to have all it's shots in order to go play in the dog park area. Besides that, it's so amazing! And the scenery is one of a kind!

Great park off the beaten path. It has a dog park, playground, shelter house, wooded trails and a huge hill for sledding. This is a favorite spot for the kids.

I have lived in the area over 27 years and I have enjoyed the park with my puppy and family for a long time.the only thing I miss is the walking trail from our walking trail because the other HOA put up no trespassing signs and blocked it off.

This is the dog park of our dogs' dreams. The getting started process is a bit tedious (no way to get this done online, must be in person), but once we got an annual pass... I wish we could bring the 2 fur babies and the tiny human baby everyday.

Great hill for snow sledding. Nice, quiet park. We take the dogs on the nature trails, but there's a fenced in dog area. We just haven't tried it.
