We were just passing through on the way between St Louis and Indy and wanted to let the kids out to stretch and play. Found this on maps. It isn't super close to the highway (6 minute diversion each way), but it was worth it. Amazing playground for very littles separate from bigger kids. Big kid playground was challenging and fun with strength/agility components and huge slides. Plenty of swings. Accessible to wheels (strollers or wheelchairs). There was a great splash pad that we didn't get to play in. There were bathrooms, which was also appreciated.

I attended this park for a family reunion. It's a huge park! There's a huge playground with plenty of shelters. There's a creek near by we were able to walk down to. The creek is great for swimming, skipping rocks. They also have trails by the creek.

I absolutely love this park! It is over a large piece of land to where you can spread all over with so many options as far as playgrounds and trails. It's an excellent idea to have a splash pad as well as multiple playgrounds. There is a great bathroom and plenty of shade in the park. The church is very well maintained and it's absolutely beautiful.

Wonderful park! The playground is awesome, there is a splash pad, a nice big walking trail and a smaller park on the trail. There is a creek to play in and nice restrooms.

I did not know that this humble neighborhood park hid a little gem with its massive amounts of trails.

This seems like a great park for many different activities. Time with the kids to family get-togethers. Everyone seems very friendly. Kids had a great time and were exhausted at the end of the day. Not a far walk by mostly trails from Plainfield Aquatic center.

Great creek. Access was somewhat difficult with the toddlers, but wasn't too bad. The playground was closed for maintenance, but the new adaptive swing and merry-go-round were amazing.

Hummel Park is a hidden gem that seamlessly blends nature, disc golfing, and soccer, creating an unforgettable recreational experience. As an avid fan of both sports, I couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend a day outdoors. The park’s lush greenery and well-maintained soccer fields provide the perfect setting for a friendly game with friends or family. The open spaces allow for plenty of room to run, kick, and score, making it an ideal spot for soccer enthusiasts of all ages and skill levels. For those seeking a more leisurely activity, the disc golf course at Hummel Park is an absolute delight. Nestled among the trees, the course offers a challenging yet enjoyable experience for disc golfers. Each hole is thoughtfully designed, incorporating natural obstacles and elevation changes to keep players engaged and entertained. In conclusion, Hummel Park with its disc golf course and soccer fields is a true haven for sports enthusiasts and nature lovers alike. It’s a place where you can unwind, have fun, and enjoy the simple pleasures that outdoor recreation offers. I highly recommend a visit to Hummel Park for an invigorating and memorable day of sports and leisure in the midst of nature’s embrace.

Hummel Park has plenty to do, several playgrounds for different ages, trail to walk/scooter/bike, the splash pad, basketball court and volleyball court! There are also picnics shelters, but there is plenty of grass and open are to find a nice spot under a tree for a snack.

Stopped in while visiting the area... wish we had a park this great at home. Obvious that the community puts effort and money into keeping it beautiful. Great ball fields, clean public restrooms, a playground with lots of shade, a new playground coming soon, a splash pad, a gazebo, tons of picnic tables and benches, etc.

There are so many different areas to walk, from wooded terrain, open fields, to sidewalk paths. Love the bridge over the creek, splash pad, different playgrounds, basketball courts, and highlighted kids' library book of the month. The sledding hill is wide open and without dangerous trees, and it is very fun any time of the year. And to see a play or musical act at the performance space is really special. Love this park!

My family and I love this park. There is so much to do and it's completely free. The river is super nice to swim in and the splash pad is perfect for my 2 year old. They have multiple playgrounds and nice trails to walk. My only suggestion would to make the playground mire disabled friendly bc those with disabilities want to play and have fun on playgrounds too.

Super fun park with basketball, volleyball, hiking trails, multiple kids playgrounds, and even a stretching station! There are plenty of gazebos and picnic tables if you want to have a party here and it's super dog friendly! There's beautiful scenery for fall pictures as well!
