The best center in Amed! Having already the OW, we did a fun dive to join some friends who were doing their first dive and the organization was top-notch! +1 for the friendly and accommodating team! We felt the good vibes there. The price is correct for the fun dive: 1m IDR/pers, including 2 dives (from the beach) equipment, transport, local guide and underwater videos (you’ll receive a edit film after).

We went there 3 times and will come back. First the staff is over the top, friendly, fun and very very pro. Equipment is 100% perfect, all in very good condition. Safety clearly is in every move here. But also... The Liberty wreck is a wonderful dive, we would recommend independently of you skills from total beginner to advanced, Also the staff cut a video of you dive so you just enjoy the dive safely, the video is really nicely done in just a cple of day, send on your email. Truly a 5* dive centre. Located in Amed Beach (2.5 hours north east from DPS airport), Amed is a very relaxed beach town with a range of accom and food options (the town is less developed than other parts of Bali so expect more laid back options) Amed is known for its diving, and is suitable for beginners and advanced alike. Plenty of coral reefs and famous wrecks are accessible from here. We spoke with a few dive shops once we landed and ended up choosing Abyss for a few reasons: - As one of the bigger shops, they offered more flexibility during low season (January) in terms of available dive sites and pairing up different diver levels (my friend wanted to do Open Water, I wanted advanced fun dives) - Super friendly, professional set up. Modern dive shop with well maintained gear. Tom, the French owner, and all the crew who we dived with were amazing (Ketut, Balik, Jentol, Hector) plus everyone else who helped (too many to name, but many great drivers, helpers, thank you!) - Full service. They provide pick ups, tea and snacks in between dives, all gear rental, and complimentary video of your dives (the vids are great) - Great instructor to diver ratio. At most 2 divers per instructor. A few of my dives was 1:1 Thanks again for a great 3 days, look forward to returning! Prices are probably more premium for the area (IDR ~1M total for two dives in Jan 2023, e.g. AUD100 or USD65 per day) but well priced on international standard, and completely fair given the instructor ratio and experience! Aside: we stayed at Salt Resort about 10 min walk down the road, really enjoyed the stay there, can recommend Thanks!!

Super friendly and professional I did 2 dives here in January, it was an amazing experience! The staff is really friendly. I texted them in the evening asking if any dives were available for the next day to the shipwreck and they answered very quickly. The dives were great as well. We did 2 shore dives to USS Liberty and the Wall. Highly recommend this place!

This dive center is definitely worth it's 5 star rating! We've checked couple of other centers around but Abyss was definitely the most professional and flexible of them all. They gave us great tips on the diving sites and snorkeling places. We did 4 fun dives with them and I loved it. Both of our dive masters (Balik abd Nadi) were fantastic. Showed us interesting underwater species. They take safety really seriously which I appreciate. The equipment is well maintained. Appreciated the lunch crêpes offered. Overall, a fantastic dive center! Merci!

Totally recmommend the french owned Abyss Diveshop. I had two dives with them at the Liberty and the Boga Wreck. Both dives were pretty cool. They have good instructors and its well organized. Equipement is maybe not the newest stuff anymore but does the job and prices are pretty good tho. What I really liked, our guide took videos of us and they sent each of us a personalized edited video after two weeks of both dives. Awesome ! They didn't tell us before :-)

Abyss Dive Center in Amed was an amazing experience. The professional instructor, who spoke French, made me feel at ease. Despite my limited diving experience, the discovery package was a great choice. The video of my dive at the end was a fantastic bonus. Highly recommended!

Such great vibes from this shop. We walked around to a few but after a couple visits others we knew that Abyss had to be the one. We had an amazing instructor, Ketut for both days. They also offer some really nice perks like a guaranteed 2:1 diver to guide ratio and a GoPro dive highlights video included in their standard package. We definitely made the right decision by going with Abyss!!

My brother, boyfriend, and I recently had the pleasure of diving with Abyss Dive Center. My brother decided to do a 2-dives diving initiation, and I must say the instructors provided him with exceptional guidance. They were not only professional and knowledgeable but also had a fantastic sense of humor, making the whole initiation process even more enjoyable for him. As certified divers, my boyfriend and I opted for 2 fun dives. We were keen on exploring the same dive sites as my brother without feeling constrained to follow him at every moment during the dive. The instructors struck the perfect balance between providing enough guidance to ensure our safety and allowing us the freedom to explore the underwater world at our own pace. One highlight that deserves special mention is the video we received after our dives. It was an excellent souvenir of our underwater adventure and a unique way to relive those moments. In conclusion, we highly recommend this diving center, especially if you speak French as most of their instructors are fluent in French.

Amazing experience with the team ! Tom and Kim are really nice people and help you to feel comfortable in all situations. We’ve done 6 dives and all were different and exiting. My boyfriend and I went diving here last week and we had an amazing experience. Kim was really welcoming and friendly from the beginning and gave us some really good information and advice about diving in the area. We went diving with Tristan, he is an underwater photographer so he took some great videos while we were diving. We always felt safe diving with Tristan, he is also an instructor 👍. He showed us some really interesting and tiny creatures in peculiar places! We even saw a really small sea horse! They send you a video of your dive at the end which is nice to show your family. In between the two dives we had French crepes, fruit and this amazing mint green tea which was a nice way to refuel before our second dive. The equipment was in really good order and some of it was new :) I would highly recommend this company if you are diving in Amed. They speak French too!

This company is very professional all staff very safety focused My husband and I enjoyed diving and snorkelling in 3 sites at Menjangan island. Its amazing and even included lunch plus the boat was in very good condition and well maintained. To us it also represented very good value for money as the marine life and coral was absolutely stunning

Amazing experience with Abyss. Daniel and team have amazing set of experienced divers. Ketut and another diver (sorry couldn't recollect his name) helped us accustomed to the equipment and then a training dive. The final dive of the shipwreck was amazing. They had arranged for snacks between the two dives. Amazing place.

Great place to dive with Was recommended here by Christina… a lady whom we met at the airport after landing in Bali. Who had no affiliation with Abyss The owner Hector was so helpful and our guide Ketut was so calm and knowledgeable about the area…. I hadn’t dived for 2years (ish) my buddy was 25yrs without a dive!! We both felt calm, safe and comfortable with Ketut We did two dives a lovely relaxed Coral Garden dive then after a snack and a drink …..another on the wreck of the USS Lincoln we saw so many fish larger and smaller …..and Ketut went through these fish identifying them at the de-brief Can definitely say I would dive with these people again…..such a nice bunch of people Went to a few centres along the same road but the Professionalism of this one stood out ….no hard sell no pushyness at all …..looking to come back next year and do my next qualification with them Thanks for everything guys you were amazing Will definitely see you again

Great human size diving team. Claudine and her local crew introduced my kids to diving and they loved it! Fresh change from the diving industry going around. We also valued the fact they were using zero plastic for our lunches on the boat. Clearly the way to go! Have fun diving or snorkelling with them !

Friendly staff, kind people, good equipment and masks. Main point is we didn’t do buddy check before diving which I or the guide should have ensured we did. Main point to improve imo. Otherwise great! Solid dive center choice
