Could not recommend more highly. The organisers, staff, cooks, surf instructors and everyone at elsewhere were incredibly helpful from minute 1. The food was great, the surf package was 10/10 and the overall atmosphere around the Hostel is always very upbeat and inclusive, especially for solo travellers or people travelling in small groups!!

Had an amazing time staying here in December. The surfing is great and the people here are amazing. It's a great setup with really good dorm rooms (great privacy and showers) and two pools outside 🤙

The conditions are great! Is a social hostel but not a party hostel which if u wanna have your chill time and still meet people is ideal. Shout out to Mike, Kinok and Ale who made sure the energy was always positive and that whatever you needed from surf lessons to fun drinks was catered for. One of my fav hostels in SE Asia. The crowd that goes there is always so keen to meet people. Recommend

I definitely recommend this hostel to everyone! Rooms are clean and good, even the dorms have good privacy due to the curtains. There’s some good facilities in form of 2 pools, a bar, all day breakfast and amazing dinner buffets for a good price. All the staff is super kind and helpful, they feel more like friends. There’s activities everyday and ofcourse the surfing. The surf instructors are amazing. You notice that they really want you to improve your skills while also having the most of fun. Surfsessions are supplemented by theory, a photo analysis of the waves you took that day and pooltraining. Next to that, they just make you feel safe in the water and give you very personal guidance since every instructor will coach 2 people. 5/5, I will definitely be coming back!

Elsewhere surf camp got me into some tasty waves! Great staff! Clean, comfortable facility in the Heart of Canggu! I made great new friends and got to experience Bali and it’s beaches at there best😎 I recommend it to any level of surfer or adventurer 🍾🌈🎸

Had a great stay in a very clean room. The surf camp was great not having to sort out coaching or transportation. The photo and video debriefs really helped. Fun hostel with a bunch of social events. Would come back if I was in Canggu again.

Ale, mike, kinok and Brody are the best host and workers, they really made my trip so fun. This place is amazing and if you want to socialize and meet the best people this is the place! Also the surf package if you’ve never surfed before is the best deal with the best instructors. Highly recommend this place

Came here at the recommendation of a friend of mine who has never let me down, and since embarking on my solo travel trip to Bali he continues to remain that friend. Staff is excellent, caring, and extremely friendly! If you’re looking for a place to meet fellow travelers while you’re in Bali and have fun doing it - this is the place to be!

Elsewhere was so friendly and social. There were really fun activities to do, nice food and great staff/other guests that made it feel like we were all travelling together. I only surfed on one day and loved it. The instructors are supportive but so fun. I only heard great reviews from everyone else. You didn’t need to surf though, it’s worth staying for the social element. Everything was very clean and the wristbands are especially useful for paying.

Incredibly friendly staff, this hostel offers the perfect balance between partying and relaxing. The surf lessons are super organized with video analysis included! On Monday there is always a party night with free drinks and drinking games where everyone takes part.🙏 The location is great with proximity to the beach, all in all the perfect place to socialize and have a good time!

The rooms are nice, clean and the beds are comfortable. The surf package is great and lessons are very good. Also the food is amazing and all if the staff is very friendly and helpful. Meet a lot of very nice people there. The place is social and there is something going on every evening. After 12 it’s quiet for the people who want to go surfing the next day and like to go sleep. Definitely worth the money :)

I love the vibe and the staff here. So cheerful and kind. Plus their buffet was good and cheap. Dorms are clean and have private bathroom which was really really nice. Bunk beds also have curtains for privacy.

Really nice hostel!!! The crew is so nice!! They really help you with a lot of things, I could stay a night longer even tho it was fully booked. Also the surfing is super nice, the teachers are amazing. The dorms are also very clean and good beds

I loved this hostel! Staff were great and so friendly. There were group activities every night. Loved the sunset walk and the free flow nights (free drinks). They had a Indonesian all you can eat dinner every night for an affordable price and met some great people here!! Highly recommend!

I had a great stay at Elsewhere. This is where you should definitely go if you want to improve your surfing, or even learn how. The instructions are very good at explaining and teaching, and after each lesson they had photo/video review session. Which was so good, you understood better what you could do better. The food and accommodation was great, I love the people in the kitchen, they always had a smile on their face and all the staff on the camp were so kind and friendly!

You feel very comfortable in this hostel. The location is ideal as you are right in the center and everything is within walking distance. The staff is super friendly and you can meet a lot of cool people. Surf courses are offered which are well structured and you learn a lot. Daily activities are organized where you can make new friends. After surfing you can chill by the pool. Ideal for people who like to surf, party and socialize.

I’d only booked the place for a single day. Had such a great time surfing, partying and chilling with the folks here that I came back again with 2 more friends and got them enrolled for the surfing lessons too! I did my first ever surf lesson here and was catching waves by myself by the end of my second session 🏄🏽‍♂️ Definitely my fav hostel recommendation for a homely, close knit, community vibe in Canggu :)

I really enjoyed my stay at the surf camp which had lots of activities, good surf instructors and very nice rooms with a lot of inclusion in the stay! In surfers package you get a lot of things for free and it is very nice set up and adjustment depending of the level you are in. The staff is super friendly and welcoming as well and good for solo travellers!

It was my first time staying at the hostel and honestly I was a little nervous, but it was an amazing experience and I haven't regretted it one bit!!!! The staff is super friendly🫶🏻 I really appreciated their help with everything. The surf lessons were awesome too. The coaches are attentive and a lot of fun The wifi, breakfasts and dinners are also worth it.
