Excellent museum, no cover fee. Organised layout with open concept and many unique artefacts including burial goods and sarcophagi. Features prehistoric and classic bali history. Helpful and engaging guide with lots of good information. Definitely recommended.

One of the fewer places where you can see really old stuff, from prehistoric Balinese sarcophagi to Old Javanese inscriptions, lontar, Chinese coins, and 8-13th century Hindu deities. They have replicas of the most important historical inscriptions from the region with explanations. This is an actual open air museum rather than a tourist spot, so there is no entrance fee, and there is a guide who is not asking for a tip in the end. Around half of the info is translated into English, rest is in Indonesian. Takes around 30 minutes to go around, free roofed parking.l for your motor.

Not a destination for holiday. Came here after a long drive for spending a day on Monday after Ied al Fitr but it was closed. No Instagram nor other information portal. It can be only visited on government working hours.

The Gedong Arca Museum is a museum that provides information about the history of the Balinese kingdom, namely the Bedahulu kingdom. This museum is located in Bedulu Village, Blahbatuh District, 15 minutes from Ubud City. Access to get there can be brought by car and motorbike, I recommend that you bring a motorbike because the parking area is not too large, there you can take photos, study Balinese history, see various types of archaeologists such as statues, stones, skulls, royal sites and so on. visitors are free to enter and leave because there is no entry ticket, but try not to damage it because there is a Balinese historical site. facilities only provide toilets, security posts and parking areas. I recommend this place for those who want to know the history of Bali.

Was disappointed 😞 there is not much to see. I expected a lot more. Very little English translation. Mostly saw several stone sarcophagus and small exhibition of early stone and bone tools. Personally was not worth the trip. Free entrance.

The place is clean and well- maintained. That said, the lights in the display buildings lights are so weak that one could hardly discern what is being displayed. The ACs are not working. Worse, the descriptive writing are old and faded, it is a turn off even for the most ardent enthusiast. For the area's size and natural beauty, (yes still a beautiful place) - the collections are sparce and limited. I suggest its admin to up their game and update their logistics as well as display.

We had a great experience at the Museum Arkeologi today. Entry is free and there are a lot of historical artefacts from Bali and Indonesia - some dating back as far as tens of thousands of years. On arrival, we didn't understand much as information is mostly in Bahasa, not English, however after a few minutes, a guide found is and proceeded to walk us through each of the important and most interesting exhibits for 30-40 minutes. He was extremely knowledgeable, and if you visit, you will get a lot more out of it if you do have a guide to tell you the background and also some of the stories of where and how items were found. Thank you!

Museum luas dan suasananya nyaman. Lokasinya mudah diakses. Buka juga setiap hari, tapi untuk hari minggu tidak ada pegawai jadi tidak ada yang memandu. Walau begitu, pengunjung masih bisa melihat-lihat koleksi museum. Tidak ada biaya masuk dan tidak perlu tipping
