This was one of the BEST tour we've EVER been on. Everything was seamless, the communication from the office with Hamza was impeccable. The pickup from Surabaya was on time and our guide Ozzy was incredible. He explained the history of Mt Bromo and made the entire trip heaps of fun. He secured the best spot for us for sunrise so we could get some amazing photos. Nothing was a hassle for him and he made sure that we were not rushed at all. He's a great photographer too (very helpful if you wanna get your Instagram perfect pictures haha). The transfer from Surabaya to the first village was arranged in a comfortable car. The 4wd from the village to Bromo afterwards was such an amazing adventure. The landscape is out of this world and does not feel real. We would happily recommend Cheap Bromo to anyone thinking about a Mt Bromo trip. Rest assured you will have an amazing time. Make sure to ask for Ozzy for an amazing, funfilled adventure

We did a Bromo Tour starting from Surabaya. I don't know why there are no Google reviews for this company, it has plenty of good reviews on tripadvisor. Everything was great. Our guide Med contacted us via WhatsApp to make sure the pickup location was correct. While most of the tourists already went to viewpoint very early we sat in a warung around a fireplace drunk coffee and ate delicious fried banana. Mad knew the perfect time to leave so we didn't have to freeze in the cold and still see the sunrise in time ☺️

Our guide for the day was Rico. Rico was nothing less than amazing. We were fortunate to have such a knowledgeable and passionate guide with us. The trip itself was amazing. We manage to complete it at our own pace. For a group 2 young adults and 2 50+ yr old adult, this trip is very much manageable. The sunrise was beautiful. Rico picked a good-spot whereby we have the whole unobstructed view of the sunrise to ourselves. Arriving at the crater, we opted for the horse ride as the walk can be quite far. Some of the handles are friendly while some felt as though they want to reach the destination as soon as possible so that they can get their next customer. But nonetheless, the handlers that we got were very kind and even let us ride the horses on our own. After all that, a hearty breakfast before heading back to the hotel. High recommended

We were introduced to the Tour and our Guide Rizky by our friend. The trek could get tough at times but Rizky was kind and patient and always concerned if we needed rest and is good. He helped us past difficult tracks and ensured our safety. He is also a good photographer who takes IG-worthy spot! He knows all the good photo spots and helped us with the photos and poses proactively! Would definitely recommend him to family and friends! 🤍

This is by far the most memorable trip I’ve been on! We reached the viewing point and had breakfast while waiting for the sun to rise. The sunrise was breathtaking & the walk up to the crater was an experience! Our guide, Aldi Pratama was very friendly & it felt like he was a part of our family. He made sure that we had a good time,taking photos for us & giving us the freedom to explore without rushing us :) We didn’t have to worry about food or transport to & from the area as it was all included in the package! Will definitely come back again!

Aldi was very punctual to pick us up to the rendezvous point with the jeep. during the whole trip Aldi was very enthusiastic, happy to chat with us, provided a lot of useful information about where we came from. This trip truly exceeded my expectations in every way. The initial ride on the car, followed by 4x4 Jeep, the vehicles were clean and ride was smooth. The sunrise view point of the volcano and the view of the crater is unforgettable. The view of Mount Bromo, Mount Batok, and Mount Semeru in the distance was simply breathtaking. Highlight was the waterfall in the end which which refreshed us from the dusty morning. Be ready to walk long distance as I clocked in 20k steps. Our guide Wardah was knowledgeable, friendly and madee sure the trip becomes memorable. Wardah speaks good English and that helped with the communication.

The tour was well organized and guided from pick-up till drop-off: The Guide always made sure, that everything was fine for us. The jeep ride up to the view point was an adventure. The sunrise at Mount Bromo was the most beautiful we have ever seen and the mood up there is like on another planet. The hike to the crater rim was another highlight of the trip. At 23:30 in the evening we were picked up at our hotel by Rizky (our guide) for an amazing trip to the Bromo Vulcan. They brought us to a central point where we switched from a regular car to a jeep. Now the trip really starts going up with lots of hairpin bends, passing a misty sand plain - sea of sand ,which makes it even more mysterious. Finally we arrived almost at the viewpoint. We had to walk the last kilometer, but we were on time and had the time to warm us up before sunrise on a cup of coffee in a local bar. I had a long interesting talk with Rizky about his and our country's history and we made some links between the Dutch and the Indonesian language. Then it was time to go further to the viewpoint, waiting for the sunrise over the bromo. Damned it was so beautiful, breathtaking,...... speechless. I can’t describe how beautiful it was. Thx Rizky to show us the best viewing spots, we have beautiful amazing pictures. Even Bromo surprised us with a big plume of smoke. Finally we drove back through the sea of sand and climb to the top to see’ smell and hear a caldera Vulcan. Again with exceptional views. Finally we went back to have breakfast and you were so kind to bring us to the airport. I can only say you must do this when visiting Indonesia and Rizky thx for guiding us.

We went to the Madakaripura Waterfall, Sunrise at Mount Bromo and Mount Ijen Blue Fire, I was amazed with the spectacular views at these 3 places. We were lucky to have our guide, Putri who helped and assist us throughout the journey. She has good skill in photo taking as well. One minus point was the hotels and rooms booked with breakfast was not satisfying. Would recommend improvement in this area.

The experience was amazing. We started really early but the times flies. We felt like a friend with our guide your Faruq and we had a lot of good moments. The trip was amazing. Our guide, Aldi was super caring as well. We started our trip a bit earlier than expected because of the traffic. As suggested by Aldi, we managed to get up to the King Kong hill for the sunrise before going to the mount bromo. We took a lot of great photos there (thanks to Aldi for the idea of posing). This is truly one of our most beautiful experiences in our lives! The views are unreal and breathtaking. We enjoyed the whole trip a lot. The sunrise was awesome and it was an amazing experience. Our guide, Ubaydillah, was very attentive to our needs and guided us to the best spots to view the sunrise and help us took memorable photos. One of our friends had motion sicknesses during the trip and he went out of his way to help her feel comfortable by offering medication, hot drinks and a place to rest.

The hole Tour was stunning and very nice. When I come back to Malang/Batu I will book again a Tour here. Hamsa is a great guide, it was very funny ano interesting. He answered every question we had. The drivers where also excellent. It makes absolut sense that the Tour starts at 11:30 PM and to wait 1-2 hours at the view point, because the place is very crowded and as we say "the early bird gets the worm". I’m 75. I conquered Tumpak sewu today. Me a Nenek/grandmother/popo did it. Ubay took such good care of me and with his guidance and strong arms 😂 I finished the hike as the oldest contender according to all the passing guides and many many amused stares. Reaching the furthest and end point was all worthy. I wouldn’t have completed it safely without my wonderful guide @ubaydillah.

We did the tour Bromo at sunrise + waterfalls with Rizky. Even if there was a fire and we could’t go to the usual spot for seeing the sunrise, Rizky did everything he could to find the best spot for us and to give us the best possible experience. Bromo is obviusly amazing and it’s totally worth a tour. You get little sleep but the experience is incredible. The tour with Rizky was well organized, he spoke English perfectly and he did everything he could to provide us with the best experience and for making us confortable. The waterfalls were the best I have seen in Indonesia, so I recommend the tour including this spot. The only downside were the tourists crowds, which made it difficult for us to enjoy some of the spots. Anyways, this is Indonesia, and also in this case Rizky helped us with the timings to beat the crowds (in the best way possible). Recommended tour and agency! Muchas gracias Rizky!

Had an amazing Trip with our guide Rina. Everything was perfectly planned and we were one of the first ones at the small Coffee places before the View Point, because we started so early that we can get the best Spot. She chose a nice View Point and Took a Lot of good Pictures from us. Would recommend to do the waterfall in the Same tour, although it is a long day - because it is worth it. Here also everything was very organized. Had a local guide and before we were briefed before that everything was paid before, when they ask for Money. Tipped him anyway because he did a good Job. Easy payment at the end of the Tour in Cash.

A truly unexpected adventure, filled with fun and excitement! 🥳 We did a 2 day tour with cheapbromo - Shaam was our guide for Day 1: Mount Bromo & Madakaripura Waterfall and Day 2 Rainbow Village & Tumpak Sewu with Ubaydillah. Shaam was pleasant, caring & helpful during Day 1 tour. Thankfully we got to see the sunrise despite it being cloudy at first. There is also the option to ride horses to the top of Bromo Crater & back (with additional fee). The Madakaripura waterfall felt like a shower breeze. The slippers & raincoats really helped with keeping our bags/clothes wet proof. It was a day of laughter, sun & fun 😀 For our day 2 tour, Ubaydillah was very friendly and experienced. He carried his conversations well and we enjoyed hearing him share so much about Indonesia, the islands and his recommendation 👍👍👍 Trekking through the foliage, water & nature itself was challenging for a few of us and Ubay was there to help guide us all the way. The Tumpat Sewu Waterfall was a magnificent view of wonders and we ended the day with a blissful note of great achievement & satisfaction. Ubay was also accommodating to our needs when we wanted to try the authentic Kuih Lapis and though it was already past 8pm, he and the driver brought us to Wisata Rasa, Surabaya, to buy as many of the local desserts/snacks we could get our hands on. Will remember this unforgettable experience & highly recommend others to give yourself the opportunity to explore the beauty of Surabaya.

Went for Tumpak Sewu Waterfall and Rainbow village tour with my guide Ubaydillah and enjoyed a lot. The waterfall is magnificient and under the expert guidance of Mr. Ubaydillah we navigated through the streams and slippery rocks to reach the top. There is also one cave over there.All respect for Ubaydillah who did a great job there; a true sample of excellent tour guide!

I had an absolutely incredible experience on the Bromo-Ijen tour from Surabaya. Our guide (named Rizky) was truly exceptional - always wearing a smile, proactive in every way, even when fatigue set in. He went above and beyond to capture stunning photos in picturesque spots and remained remarkably polite throughout. His inquisitiveness and intelligence added another layer to our journey, as we shared intriguing insights about our lives. One standout example of his proactive nature was when he remembered our requests, like stopping at a mart on the way to the hotel. He ensured our breakfast was thoughtfully prepared for the Ijen trip. On top of that, he noticed I lacked a jacket for the cold at Ijen and promptly guided us to a shop to get the right attire. When I faced motion sickness in the mountains, he arranged a remedy without hesitation. Our guide's thoughtfulness extended to our culinary preferences too. After our return, he recommended fantastic places to satisfy our noodle cravings and even pointed out delightful night markets. The driver, Mr. Giarto, too, was courteous and drove safely. The overnight accommodation was quite nice as well . The Bromo and Ijen landscapes stole my heart - serene, breathtaking, almost surreal. I can still vividly picture the scenes in my mind. Spending 4-4.5 hours in Ijen was an unforgettable experience, allowing us to immerse ourselves fully in nature. Without a doubt, I wholeheartedly recommend this tour to anyone seeking an extraordinary adventure.

Absolutely the best tour we did in Indonesia! My friend and I did the Bromo one day sunrise tour with Oni and it was such a great experience! :) Everything was very well organized and we really appreciated that they sent an itinerary of what to expect and when. Oni truly knew the best spots to see the sunrise and take photos! He is also the kindest and nicest human being! Some guides don't seem to prioritize history or connecting with their group; Oni took the time to not only share what he knew about Mount Bromo and the surrounding area but also to engage with us and ask about what we were interested in. This was a well organised trip and Risky, our guide was an excellent host. We felt that we are very well looked after and he was always on hand to suggest photo opportunities and take the pics when needed. He spoke perfect English so communication was never an issue. I highly recommend this tour.

The entire trip was amazing and Faruq was a great tour guide who showed many spots that were not too crowded with tourists. Although we were unfortunate that we couldn’t see the sunrise of bromo early in the morning due to the fog, the rest of the trip was great once the fog was gone. All in all, it was great to have Faruq sharing the different stories during the tour and a great friend to accompany with for a hike!

My private tour was amazing. Faruq and driver picked me up from my hotel on time. He explained the trip I had booked and what to expect. We met our jeep driver in Sukapura village and continued the steep climb to the sunrise viewing point. Afterwards continue back to Mt Bromo for a walk to the crater and photos with the jeep. Buffet breakfast before the trip back to Surabaya. Faruq guidances created an enjoyable trip and provided me with many memories which I will cherish. The tour was well organised and worth the early start.
