    This place is in the side of the road. We almost miss this artistic building. Good background to take a pictures together.

    The building is an old palace now turned into a public hall as well as an event space. The building itself is only accessible during events but you can actually stop by to take photos on the compound.

    Actually it is an historical palace in West Sumatra... But, the original palace were burnt accidently then the palace rebuilt...anyway, this place still romantic and quiet... Good to visit...

    A family owned istana, veey well maintained. I presume this herritage istana is not open for public. I went there twice (different time), there was no other visitor.

    We stop by here because , when we visited Istana Pagaruyung was closed down for Covid19. It's like the miniature of Istana Pagaruyung, not bad at all...
