Hard to find local Balinese brewery, but once you make it upstairs it's amazing. Looks very industrial and run down from the outside, but once you open the sliding doors and walk past the construction going on downstairs, you'll be amazed at the second floor. Friendly staff, great beer selection. It's a shame this isn't closer to Legian/Kuta. But maybe the bogans wouldn't come here anyway.... :) Support local Balinese companies. Support local breweries. One of the best microbrewery in Bali. They serve European style craft beers with food pairings. Our "beertender" explained every beers and pairings, he also seems to be very passionate about serving beers the right way. Canard offers a unique beer tasting experience and deliver craft beers as some form of an art. From the brewing process, ingredients used, temperature, serving glass, amount of head (foam), every details matters. A very very memorable experience indeed. If you love craft beers, then this place is for you. Highly recommended, will definitely come back!

One of the most sheek taprooms we have been to. Bali needs more of this. Their beers are excellent, our personal favourite is the Weizenbock..it hides the 9.5% abv really well. They offer a food pairing option too, we regret not getting that! The bartender was also fantastic, very knowledgeable and she explained every beer, its tasting notes and why they're served in a specific glass type. She also mentioned the venues target audience is female and the decor reminded me of a fancy cocktail bar. Location isn't easily visible off the street. These guys should register themselves on Untapped so beer enthusiasts can find them and escape the Bintang 😅 See you on our next trip to Indonesia!

Canard Taproom, hidden gem and also the best local brewery in Bali. My personal favorite is Session IPA & Strawberry Gose. From the very first sip, one could taste a tinge of delicious citrus sweetness blended with a little bitterness. Bittersweet goodness!! 😍 The owner & staff is very passionate when explaining the range of unique flavors. If you wish to enjoy good quality beers, this is the place to be. Super chill vibe, lovely place to just hang and chat with friends, staff or other customers. Come here a few times and aim to revisit often 😊

Nice bar at a hidden spot, love the ambiance here. Main entrance is still under construction or maybe it's a designed? But it looks cool, a little industrial vibes. Got their best seller strawberry gose and weizenbork. Love the strawberry gose, a little citrus and sweet. Personally preferred my alcohol sweet so this hits the right spot. Weizenbork is an acquired taste I would say. Have a rather interesting smell, almost like a soy sauce smell. It has a deeper taste compare to the strawberry gose, but if you like something with complex I think this is something you would like. Overall, its a pretty nice and decent pricing place. Definitely worth to checkout or at least get the strawberry gose. Edit: weizenbork smell and taste like bonito flakes

Hidden gem in Legian: a beer bar from the Canard project, reminiscent of a wine bar :) 6 types of own beer on tap. Portions of 150 or 300 ml, to choose from. My favorites are session IPA and Kölsch. Each of the varieties is accompanied by a gastro-couple. You can take a set of 6 types and try everything. Or sample a set of 3 light/3 dark varieties. It's an interesting experience. Average check: 180000-200000 IDR per person

Finally a spot to have a nice drink that isn’t flooded with drunk tourists. Out of all the many breweries I have been to, this one is also world-class in terms of its beer quality. You can go through tasting the whole line of German-inspired brews for less than 200k Rp right off the tap. Highly recommend
