Because of the INTUR event, again I know a gallery that is in the borobudur area. This gallery belongs to Mr. Umar chusaeni. Gallery with authentic concepts and ornaments of Buddha statues. A must visit art gallery. It is close to the Pawon temple in the village which supports a thriving community of local artists. The gallery houses work by B. Gunawan and other interesting artists. Do go and have a chat with Omar who owns the gallery he has some great stories to tell as well as wonderful art to browse.

This an amazing arts gallery in Borobudur! Mr. Umar is such a nice person with rich talent! I highly recommend this place as your visit point during your stay in Borobudur!

The place is nice, instagrammable. From the entrance gate it looks unique. Cool, suitable for hanging out. Parking for cars goes down quite sharply. If you use a motorbike, it's safe. The atmosphere is comfortable.

It's cool, serene, very calm there... the takoyaki is really delicious... haven't even entered the museum yet... but it looks cool... paid 10k... Closed until 8 but can be later than that because the owner lives there...but don't know until what time you can wait...thank you...

Owner Umar Chusaeni has established a unique art gallery for Indonesian contemporary art. Every two years he also organizes the Borobudur International Art Exhibition. A very special place where you have the chance to meet artists almost every day.

Yeaaaay, happy to finally be able to go to an art gallery while having beautiful snacks plus being greeted by a friendly smile from the owner directly. The ladies and gentlemen who serve them are also friendly and communicative in explaining the menu. The menu choices are delicious and simple, perfect for chatting with friends and the atmosphere is really beautiful. Far from noise, love it...
