Terrible experience. Unfortunately, we booked this company to travel from Bali to Gili T and back, through our Homestay in Ubud. Departure from Bali was delayed approximately 1h30. People Were crowded waiting for boats from different companies, often in the blazing sun. Extremely confusing and no organization or queueing. The boat was super old and AC units didn’t work. It was very hot inside which made everyone sick once the ocean got super wavy and the boat started rocking A LOT. People were feeling seasick and one person even fainted multiple times. On the way back, same story. Scheduled to leave at 11:00, we departed at 13:00 because too many boats/people departing from a tiny harbor and the boat had an engine problem. They don’t explain anything. They don’t tell you you have to pay township/island/harbor tax every time you leave or enter an island (10k a peace). This tax could be included in the boat ticket to avoid more delay and queues. They don’t explain the route of the way back. We thought we were going directly from Gili T to Bali, but we stopped at Gili A and Lombok, arriving at Pandangbai at 17h. So a 6h journey, not including shuttle bus to your final destination. I can’t emphasize enough how uncomfortable the trip is. No AC, super hot. You can’t open the windows for air because you will get soaked wet since the ocean gets super wavy and water will pour through windows. Even with windows closed, water keeps dripping in from the ceiling and walls and cracks on the windows. They keep driving fast even if the waves are giant. People feel super sick and tense. On the way back the waves were so big we though the boat was gonna break and feared the worst. This is a 40 year old looking boat with 7 small boat engines… My suitcase was damaged on the second trip. The shuttle bus service they provide is ok, but they dropped us off at a different location than the one we had agreed via WhatsApp with Inami. More money on taxi. Just find another way to get to Gili!

NO SAFE!!! TERRIFYING!!!!! Everybody was puking on the boat. The bout was vertical literally, the water entered for the windows, people screaming. Its seems like horror movie but no, its this company trip. IT IS NOT SAFE. It is not about your suitcase or backpacks completely wet. It is that the boat hit abruptly on the sea. The worst trip in my whole life. (the video is more calm than 3 minutes later) and in the port 2 hours later... You can't imagine

Actually had quite the decent trip with these guys. Better than the other ones we’ve used. Recommend trying to get a seat up on the second floor. And have everything organized before you get there, the people at the pier WILL make you second guess.

Despite the avalanche of negative comments, we have had no problems with this company. I even found it well organized. A word of advice: go through your hotel to book, everything will be simpler. We were going from Padang to Gili air

Terrible service - paid 500K to go from Kuta Lombok to Ubud - but when arriving in Padang Bai in Bali, realised the bus to Ubud was going to take about 3.5 hours because of “many stops” according to the guy working there, for a ride that takes normally a third of the time. Had to pay for my own cab for 400K to Ubud instead. Don’t use this service and figure out your own transportation if you don’t want to spend the day in transports.

Most unorganised and uncomfortable trip I've had after travelling for 3 months now. Tried to get official tickets coming back from Gili T to Bali with the receipt we got from our hotel in Ubud the day before we were supposed to leave but they were closed at 17:30 and were told to come back at 8am the next day but again there was no one there and were told to come back at 10am to check in for the 11am ferry. After that were told it was actually at 11:30am and arrived at 12:30 so we were waiting around for hour without guidance or direction. You also have to pay tax and parking fees everywhere. The ferry was very uncomfortable and terrible AC. We had bought transport to hotel for our return and found out it it would take 4hrs plus another 1hr waiting for the next ferry to fill up the shuttle bus and the other option was a direct to hotel for an additional 600,000 Back to Ubud. We had to pay this because we had no reception to order a grab. Absolute joke!

Pure rip-off. The times are never adhered to. After waiting 1.5 hours or beforehand, you are offered the option to drive off immediately for an additional charge. Even the deals made there include services that you ultimately cannot claim.

Reading all the bad reviews it’s quite difficult deciding what boat to take and the others were sold out so had to go with this one. I was dreading it but it was absolutely fine! Our bags were stowed properly, we left almost on time, everyone had a seat (although it is low season) and it had AC. The sea was pretty calm so felt safe. If you’re worried check the weather or ask locals what the conditions will be to avoid a rough crossing. Once in Padang Bai we got straight into our shuttle and left promptly arriving in Ubud around 4:30pm. Our driver let us get out near our hostel. It is confusing with lots of people trying to give you a lift at the ferry port - walk outside to the road to the Inami office and they’ll tell you which car to get in.

I booked my transfer to the airport with the company and then had to pay extra again in Bali because the ticket I got didn't arrive at the airport on time. All liars and rip-offs.

THE WORST. We were scheduled to leave at 11:30 AM, we ended up leaving 2 hours later, and then we had to make a stop to Lombok only for us to be told that the engine was broken. There was zero empathy on their side, not even a bottle of water. We ended up arriving at Padang Bai around 6:30 PM. We pre booked a shuttle and they even tried to get more money from us so we could reach Ubud “faster”. We already wasted one full day because of this. Save yourselves and never book from Inami “LUXURY”

Initial experience from Ubud to Lombok was ok. Picked up from accommodation & guided through procedures. Boat was not luxury but fine. Same travelling back from Gilli T. Arriving back at Padangbai was Terrible. Harrassment getting if boat, trying to up sell us to take private cat when we'd already paid for transfer.We insisted on transfer included. Put in bus, take off?? Dumped we didn't know where in out skirt if sunur instead of hotel. Driver was crazy. Would Not recommend. Definitely pay extra for better experience

Never use inami .. i gave my lugage and they stole my money… about 350dollers .they really rob someone blind. They left ony left 1 &10 doller paper… And also they dont care about someone pretend like inami staff and cheating about the shuttle bus. He said bus will took 5hours to cuta so use taxi if i want to go straight to kuta. It was lie but staff didn,t say anything even he was next to cheater

Do not use - they are scam artists. We booked from Lombok to Bali to get to airport. The boat was overcrowded and late. Then when we arrived in Padang Bai, we were told we would have to take a four hour bus to get to the airport. This meant we would miss our flight. In the end we had to pay another 500k for taxi. Overall we were overcharged and they didn’t not deliver the service they sold us - go elsewhere.

The return crossing from Gili Air to Padangbai was the worst water crossing I have had in Indonesia. The boat was in a scrapyard condition, no fenders were even used when mooring. They advertise that there is air conditioning, it is, but it does not work. It stinks on board, the toilet is clogged and it makes you vomit. Halfway through the crossing, one engine broke down and had to be repaired. Only the reception and the car drivers were fine and very organized, but the boat and everything related to it was a tragedy. I do not recommend.
