In
short,
just
ok,
not
terrible,
but
unless
you
just
need
to
have
sushi
for
some
reason
&
you're
stuck
at
Plaza
West
Covina
or
you're
just
going
for
happy
hour,
I'd
probably
go
somewhere
else.
ITEM'S
ORDERED:
California
Roll
(HH)
Crunch
Roll
(HH)
Chirashi
Bowl
TASTE:
The
California
Roll
&
Crunch
Roll
were
both
alright,
nothing
really
wrong
with
them
just
nothing
so
stand
out
enough
that
I'd
pick
them
over
other
versions
I've
had
at
other
places.
Others
I've
had
just
had
maybe
better
flavored
crab
meat,
or
the
tempura
shrimp
was
fresher
in
the
roll.
Alright
deal
for
happy
hour
specials
though.
Chirashi
Bowl
was
also
one
of
less
impressive
I've
seen
of
this.
Fish
did
not
seem
the
freshest
(not
so
bad
I
wouldn't
eat
it)
&
preparation
was
not
the
best
since
there
was
a
scale
in
a
couple
pieces.
I
did
enjoy
the
addition
of
seaweed
salad
&
rice
was
seasoned
well.
SERVICE,
LOCATION
&
PARKING:
Service
was
friendly
in
the
quite
busy
restaurant
on
a
later
Sunday
afternoon.
The
server
was
still
very
nice
when
I
asked
to
move
tables
since
the
one
I
was
at
was
very
hot.
The
AC
ventilation
seemed
very
uneven
in
the
place
&
where
I
was
originally
seated
was
definitely
too
hot
for
a
summer
day.
They
are
located
in
Plaza
West
Covina
on
the
side
facing
the
freeway
with
all
the
other
restaurants.
It's
closet/adjacent
to
Forever
21
in
what
used
to
be
a
Cajun
restaurant
if
memory
serves
me
right.
Interior
is
pretty
basic
with
some
cool
fish
lanterns
hanging.
If
you're
someone
who
is
still
really
concerned
with
tables
being
socially
distanced
you'll
be
uncomfortable
here
since
I
even
thought
they
had
the
tables
quite
close
even
not
considering
a
pandemic.
There's
also
outside
seating.
I
don't
see
myself
returning
here
since
there's
for
sure
better
sushi
options
available.
But
in
a
pinch,
or
for
Happy
hour
it's
decent
enough.
