Terrible hotel. The front desk attendant was nice but I don't like this place for multiple reasons. Pay for parking, come o. $10 per night is ridiculous. I get it if you're in a busy area but this place was EMPTY. The bed was super springy, too springy for me. Nice feeling pull out bed but No sheets and no pillows. This place has the Weirdest layout ever. The elevator was extremely hard to find. I got lost looking for the gym. The cleaning lady told me where the gym was and it was in the opposite direction. Hopefully your room is right to the elevator or you don't have much luggage to bring with you. The hallway into your room is super small and the luggage caret can barely fit in there. The hallways are really slim and two people can barely fit side by side. No upgrade with Gold Membership. Said they were all booked. Didn't see anyone else in the parking lot. Looked online, still had openings for nicer rooms. Interesting how that happens. My Dad said he's stayed at Marriott for 15 years and never got a free upgrade. Yeah, you can be a gold member, but they are lying about the free upgrades if they are available

Updating my review, finally got in touch with the GM who finally did agree to give compensation. So i raised my review alittle. I wish it would have been easier but he said they are using my experience to train the staff, so maybe there wont be a next time with others........ Aweful service from start to finish.... from reservation mistakes, to rooms not ready at check in, to coffee being made wrong, to dirty floors and tables (see pictures) and no one cares.... once they have your money they could care less.... I have talked to agm and GM!!! ...Well sorta.... the GM has yet to respond as obviously my issues do not appear to be a priorty... stay anywhere else if you work hard for your money. You have been warned.

I usually stay here when I’m in town for business or pleasure visiting family. I booked 2 nights this week and had to check out a day early because of an emergency to travel and book another hotel at another Marriotts. They still charged me the extra night even though I checked out. I tried calling to have them wave my extra night but they still Charged me for a service I never received. I’ve stayed here hundreds of times and you would think they would take off the charge but they didn’t. I guess they care more about money than their loyal customers so I guess they lost my business and I will send an email to my work Corporate office co-workers about my experience. More than likely , I will never get any response from the management here. When I called the front desk kept telling me the Manager will call me back but never did. However, the front desk called back an hour later and just told me my manager is in a meeting but she told me I still have to charge you the extra day. That’s too bad.

Worst Marriott experience ever. As a platinum member, want to extend stay for 2 days and told not available before check out period, and the manager not helping at all.

Slightly (21 miles) away from downtown LA scene, this hotel proved to be a gem. We were in town for Super Bowl weekend and wanted to stay a slight ways out from the crowds. For 1/2 the Marriott points other hotels wanted, we got the same service, if not better at this hotel. The hotel was clean, rooms clean and spacious. We received a complimentary upgrade to a suite, with a balcony over the pool and mountains. Since the hotel sits in an almost residential area, if you got out early, traffic to/from LA was a breeze. Now if your a late riser, then you can expect that 21 mile trip to take about an hour😂. They have a pool, which did not use, as friends had a house 3 miles away with a heated pool, and one day was spend at Santa Monica Beach. We loved the suite because it had a separated bedroom from the rest of the room. Suite came with refrigerator and microwave. Bathroom sink are was tight, as only 1 person could be at the 1 sink bowl at a time. We disinfected the room because as we hung our clothes, we noticed dust in the closets, which appears nobody been cleaning/dusting in their. Beware: You pay $10 per night for parking in an open lot. There is no security out there or a gate. Right outside the hotel, they have a hiking trail that goes up the mountains. Walmart is about a 5 minute drive so you can stick up on beverages and things versus paying hotel prices for these same items. Overall, we would stay here again. Plenty of shopping in the area and an easy commute to most attractions (again…if you get out early).

We needed a place to stay near home (Long Beach) while they tented our house for termites. This turned out to be a real gem. Beautiful, well-maintained, had a nice view of the valley from the hillside it sits on. Easy to take a walk through the nearby neighborhood. Warning: It it quite a workout as you have to walk up a long hill to get to it. The coffee shop/bistro was modest but convenient and a continental-style breakfast was good. It also was the least expensive in the whole LA area that I found in terms of using my Marriott points. Wish they hadn't charged for parking though ($10/night?).

The Hacienda Heights area is a safe area, with predominately Asian stores and restaurants around! The room itself was standard and modernized, and with great A/C. The staff, however, are nothing short from wonderful! They had a great attitude, gave me attentive details about my room and where to park, and was quick on checking me in/out! After staying 4 days here, I’ve left one of my belongings here, and they've promptly called no later than a few hours to let me know and I came to pick it up. By the time I’ve came back from vacation, I've unfortunately realized that I also left an airpod ear piece in my room. I emailed the staff letting them know what happened and where they might find it, and they did indeed found it and offered to ship it! If you ever lose something, I recommend getting it shipped in a box for sure, and ask for tracking. As I believe regular mailing only works for letters and not items! (Who would’ve thought!) They provided me a Docusign-esque link, to confirm information and payment, and my lost item was on its way! On arrival, my item was carefully wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrapped and in tact! Overall, my stay was great, but the helpful staff really made my trip wonderful! Thanks again Suzanna!

Nice view, perfect for a late night smoke and feel the vibes. Not that I do it, I wish I could but my fiancé won’t let me. Easy to navigate square building and a large work out room. Staff is friendly and rooms are clean. Free mint chocolate, you know the Andes one? Green tiny bricks, that’s a mistake @Marriott, I will empty that whole fish bowl!

Great location, large rooms, and very comfy bed. Close to mall, movie theater, and restaurants. Safe area and breakfast was delicious.

Overall it is a decent hotel, wish there were more benefits to elite members or at least something to appreciate guests more, the benefit i received for being titanium was $10 off a breakfast, that i think is like an insult, but it was a convenient hotel for me at the moment.

Overall rooms I would say met slightly under perfection for cleanliness. They are a tad small and feel cramped but almost every room comes with a pull out. The service of staff was , ok I felt at times the gentleman at the front was never happy to see anyone. Location is very central and overall everything is within walking distance.

First of all, the staff is pleasant and professional, the environment is clean, inviting and very inducing for quiet business meeting. The coffee shop is run by good staff and service was fast. The rooms are clean, bathroom is very well kept and no dirty spots and beds are well made and. The sounds barrier is decent but not complete sound-proof, however, I have never experienced any loud guests while I stayed there.

The rooms are nice. Kinda small. The buildings very large and easy to get lost going to room. Had to take a flight of stairs but all and all a decent stay

In one word, *CHEAP* for the service, although the cost is anything but. Upon entering the room, you don’t see even a single bottle of drinking water. If you want one, go back to the lobby and buy it for $3.50. The refrigerator runs on a timer. Even though I reset it often, every time I opened its door, it was off and had to be reset again. Using Covid-19 as an excuse, there is no housekeeping service unless your stay is 4 nights or more. Even though they obviously saved a lot in the room cleaning staff, the room cost $188 per night, plus $10 for parking, plus $22.95 for tax and fee. I stay here a few time several years ago. I don’t recall this hotel being so *CHEAP* back then. Maybe it has a new owner now.

Don’t stay here. Look at recent reviews and 50% are bad. Rooms smell bad. Terrible wifi. Didn’t get my room cleaned once in 4 days stay. Stains on beds. Gross spot.

My family stayed here numerous times visiting family. We come from Las Vegas. The rooms are clean, beds are comfortable I miss but having a bath tub but the shower is nice. Close to Freeway and shopping and dining.

The staff at the front desk was so kind and patient. Check in was so quick. Rooms were very clean and definitely worth the price I paid. Felt very safe and there was no problem coming in and out of the building. I was there on a Monday and it wasn't very busy. I definitely recommend. Shopping centers are no more than a 5 minute drive.

We have stayed at this Courtyard many times for years. Because of the proximity to our elderly father, we continued to tolerate the horrible room conditions and service. Last year, during one stay we found blood stain (see photo)on the bedding. During another stay we got bug bites then found dead bugs on bed. Then there was a time, middle of shower at night, lights went out because hotel had electricity problem. The worst time was coming out of shower realizing there were no towels at all. There were a few times they even had no water. It is not uncommon to hear next door guests talking through the thin walls. Of course each time, they apologized and promised to do better. Since Mr Kim took over as general manager, they lost their level of service we used to appreciate. After this trip of long 8-night stay and receiving such a horrible treatment by management, we finally said no more. We are platinum elite members. Not only were we not offered an upgraded room, but the management would not clarify communication made by their team member regarding waiving parking fee for an extended stay. We repeatedly requested over 3 days, to talk to a manager. It was not even about waiving the parking fee. They could not be reached unless it’s between the hours of 10am - 8pm and demonstrated apathy. That can not be how a Marriott brand hotel is run. It’s unfortunate they just lost a cluster of loyal families that will not be returning.

Wifi does not work at all. It disconnected every few minutes. Avoid at all cost if you want to work while staying there.

Great location, easy access to everything. Yet there is no housekeeping now, hassle to get supply and trash done.

Overall a good stay, and would return again when I visit the area. Pros: renovated rooms with refreshed furniture. Nice lobby. Good service. Great location. Quiet. Decent internet. Fridge in room. Cons: air conditioner (heater) will dry out the air in your room. Walls are thin. $10/n parking. Spring bed and pillows not the most comfortable. Low shower water pressure. Tip: park across the street for free.

Front desk gal was extremely hospitable and nice! Rooms were clean and very well kept. We slept well and enjoyed our stay very much. This is our go to hotel whenever we are in the Rowland heights area.
