The customer service was dope! The lady was quick to attend us with a menu. The food was quick almost as fast as we ordered but it did come very well done that was a big plus. Area extremely clean! We loved it! Best Chinese food place out this way. BUT there is one thing I would highly recommend and that would be adding sesame seeds on top of the orange chicken. Jeje 💯

Orange chicken, soup dumplings, sesame balls for dessert, crystal shrimp dumplings, bbq pork buns. All excellent choices. Each with its own, distinct flavor.

Sad to say service has... Wait what service, sat at the bar the tender was making a drink in front of us never looked up or said anything. She walked away, never returned after 5min we left.

Celebrated a friend's birthday here last night. While most of the regular dishes were tasty the dish i was excited about, the hot pot, was disappointing 😐. It was way too salty. Both the dry and the soup...too much salt...the dry one we still ate it, the soup we had to send back, it was inedible. Maybe they were short staffed due to Covid.

We had a wonderful dinner. The food is sensational and service was top notch. Sitting outside in the new patio was very refreshing and it is designed with lots of space between the tables. The chef is best in La Verne.

Walked in to order take out tonight and was completely ignored by the female server with red hair. She looked at me, however she continued to greet and help others. I have ordered pickup online before so perhaps that is the better option instead of waiting up front to place an order. Food is amazing but the service tonight was just absolutely terrible.

First blind date ever! Group of friends shared outside fabulous one man band that sang great classic music! We told jokes, laughed, ate sensational food, and the service was exceptional... a must return for me!

Cafe Wang is really great -- the quality of the food is top notch, they have some unique offerings besides just the standard "Chinese American" food. Also, the restaurant is large and spacious, great decor. Service is terrific. They also have a full bar with happy hour, which is very unique to a Chinese restaurant!

The Good > order promptly taken, food served hot and tasty, large servings (plenty for take home), two man band playing good music from the patio area. The Bad > expensive ($100 for 3 people with nothing “special” ordered), all meals not served together, slow table follow up, served a large portion of fried rice ($16 !, thinking that I was getting a single meal serving) and this was weird, a server asked to remove table soy sauce while we were still eating (to deliver to another table ?). I would suggest that nearby Taste of Asia is a better choice for comparable food.

I actually went to their tea room next door and it was so awesome. My daughter got the Antarctica drink, and it was bright blue with a little polar bear made from ice on the top. The desserts were also great...try the little cheese. Looks like mouse cheese but it's actually cheesecake. The entrance is cool too with little wooden bleachers where people can sit and chat...great for my teen and her friends. This place is a gem.

Food was okay, definitely over priced for what it was. The chow main needs improvement & thicker noodles. I’m big of sauces, so the little amount of hot sauce/sweet & sour they give… I had to constantly continue asking for more lol. BTW, the sweet & sour; extremely watered down. A party of 2 people, our total was $126 not including tip.

Food is so good. Especially the salt and pepper shrimp. The best I've had. The service was great too.

Your online menu has wrong pricing. If I hadn't asked a question about pricing, I wouldnt have known that my order was about 20% higher than last time I ordered. Also we noticed portions are smaller. Normally I tip 20% but no tip this time and we won't be ordering from you again. We have found better chinese restaurants at lower pricing.

My lady and I came in for a late night bowl of soup ... pork won ton. I'm telling you, it had a ton of pork wons! 😉 We left this place fat! But it was soooo goood! And the live music wasn't bad 🤪

Delicious food, great service. Lovely outdoor seating. Excellent vegetarian options. The fried tofu was perfect! Not too chewy, not too crispy or soft. I had the tofu vegetable.

Were returning back to LA last night super hungry, decided to take a chance and pick up some food for takeout from this place (I'm a huge fan of chinese food in general). For $21 family style Mongolian beef portion was pretty small, had VERY little meat, too spicy and lots of onions. Upsetting. 2 stars for hot&sour soup which was plenty in size but on a spicy side which made it too hard to enjoy either. Sadly, I have to say, this place is too expensive for what they offer.

Went here a couple nights ago, the woman who seated us was very kind and attentive at first. Several tables were seated after our party of 2, every single one of them were served before us. We didn't even receive our drinks for 45 minutes. We were ignored that entire time until the woman who seated us asked if we had been helped, then she took our order herself. The food we received wasn't what we ordered, then we were ordering the waitress says "I recommend getting one more plate..." we were perplexed and said uhh, we're good, we don't want anything else. Then when we were leaving I asked for 2 boxes, she says "ummm do you need 2 or just 1?" again, perplexed, I said we need two please. The food wasn't great, the service was awful, won't be returning...

I spent 20$ for a little container of orange chicken no rice included, no different than tasty goody orange chicken. The hot and sour soup tasted more like egg drop soup it was so bland and there was no eggplant. The sesame balls are micro. I do not know how this place has good reviews. Worst Chinese ever

The best place to eat in downtown La Verne. Though they have some Chinese-American food, the best dishes are the Szechuan ones. My favorite is the fish dry pot.
