It's a superb place to spend 1-2 hour time with family, friends and kids..The main attraction is beautiful toy train with Rs.50 only..it will give u a superb feelings indeed..Rail museum was constructed in 2002..It has several collection of Steam engines, vintage coach those are very old ones..The painting of train n platform is so live here for taking photoes standing infront it, would confuse anyone.. Seeing The pics, anyone would say, u r hanging from real train..Just check my pics.. Nearby for tea, coffee, snacks, icecream, colddrinks etc Shop is there..So just have visit n enjoy..

Three small kids park is there. Entry fee also reasonable Needs improvement If they concecentration on hygiene that will really helpful for all. Some staff doesn't know tamil. Staffs behavior.

Very nice place for the kids to enjoy and also for the people who are kids at their heart. The place has got many antique samples from Indian railways. A working signalling system mini version. Had many bogies and lots of place for the kids to play around. Since we went with a big group we even had a show arranged in their theatre overall it is a wonderful place to spend some 4 to 5 hours without much rush

Excellent place for everyone who is interested to learn and see new things. Kids love this place and specially the toy train is nice piece of work. Old trains and its models even 90s kids would have not seen these things. Lovely place to spend around 2hrs. Villivakam station is the nearest and youngies can walk to museum oldies can take auto for 80-100INR. Well maintained restrooms. Good drinking water facility. Normal RO water at the left side entrance. Cold RO water inside near the gallery room. Can sit anywhere around and have our food.

You will have a good time with your family. Greeny environment. Kids will enjoy a lot. You will get to about the evolution of Train in India

Rail museum nice place to see olden train, how Icf developed step by step to improve the Indian railways for public comfortable journey... Museum entrance fee 50 Rs,,, including tea or snacks worth 10 Rs.. In olden days they used wood coal for fuel that train also available hear For kids nice place for playing park also joy train also available for kids I think kids like very much for enjoying this place... We like to see older train and equipment very amazing... 1909 equipment also available hear.. Scale train also selling here Monday holiday please don't plan on monday

Great Experience to ride in the Toy Train and to board the train from this mini train station. Kids will really enjoy this ride and is a must do activity for them.
