Learned a lot about the history behind the rock. Traditional dance performance was fantastic as well.

Love it the hiking 🥾 trails are superb. The views from the base and from the summit are both breathtaking.

I lived in a cave here in 1986 for nearly a year, I lived off fruits and roots and every so often the locals would supply me with milk and cheese. I was in my mid twenties, now 63 and it was nice to see this place even though they're only photos.

Amazing rock in the middle of nowhere. If you are keen to hike it up by yourself make sure you have proper gear and know the tracks, otherwise I recommend to use the guided tours.

You can see all glory and beauty of Mother Nature . The road is average and the staff aren’t enough qualified. The entrance fee is E30 for visiting the rock and E50 for cultural village,, but after paying E30 per person and buying tickets at entrance gate , some staff asked us for extra money for letting us to see the rock. So I strongly suggest better supervision on stuff. It can damage the country prestige! Thanks

The hike is challenging at a times, there are no clear marked trails, you will need a guide. The guides are in the starting point, and payment is cash only. Of course, if you prefer you can drive to the resort (road is quite difficult, make sure to have a 4x4 car) and walk to the rock, a 20 minute walk versus 1.5 + hour. The views are spectacular.

A very chill n easy trail. There’s a restaurant on top serving soft drinks n beverages. Be noted that dogs/pets are not allowed to enter the restaurant or bnb areas. Worth paying a visit and enjoying the nature’s company.

Star off for the resort and road up. The rock and its surrounding rocks, are absolutely impressive from Pine Valley Road. If you can, pull over and take a look from below prior to going up. The road up is treacherous. A single lane crumbling thing so be careful and keep your eyes ahead for massive pot holes, failing shoulders and animals. Once at the top, there is an entrance fee of 50. Hopefully it goes to keeping the park up. The “resort” is a sad place. A testament to the folly that we can build something on top of nature. If this place was on my face, I would have it surgically removed. Really should just be a parking area, small food services, basic sleepover places, and let nature do the rest. Instead it is a crumbling assortment of buildings, amusement park things and failing infastrure. Go see the rock, stay for the views but try and ignore the rest.
